This 4th floor walkup has a stocked kitchen is on hand to cook a meal (or simply request a chef, you’re on vacay after all) and serene bathrooms complete with luxury bath products feels like home. Yoga mats aid a good sweat while your own washer + dryer keep things fresh. Sleep6 brand mattresses and supple linens allow for an optimal night’s rest. A washer + dryer, Sonos, YouTubeTV, and fast Wi-Fi add to the ease and comfort. Don't forget to enjoy your morning coffee outside with direct access to the courtyard!

Overall, it was an excellent experience. The rooms were very clean and well maintained. The location was great as its a short walk to the lake and close to many grocery stores and convenience stores. The kitchen was mostly stocked and we were able to pick up things we needed rather easily in the neighborhood. We stayed on the 4th floor which wasn't an issue for us, but could have been a slightly challenging for someone with limited mobility. We would definitely consider coming back the next time we are in Chicago.

Quiet and perfect

Perfect spot for our 3 day trip, very clean and well equipped. We cooked in for several meals, we found all the kitchen utensils we needed. We would definitely stay at this location again. Of note, the apartment is 4 stories up.

Great location, quiet

Nice property. Very clean and updated. It's a 4-floor walkup, which made the cocktail at the end of the climb that much more rewarding. While being on a busy street (Clark), there was 0 noise heard in the unit

A Hidden Gem

This was a bright spot and very spacious in a building that could easily go unnoticed from Clark Street in Lincoln Park. The beds were comfortable, great sofa in the tv area and the kitchen had everything we needed. The reason I gave only 3 stars for communication was that I sent several messages to see about an early check-in and didn’t hear back for a couple weeks and then right before our stay. Also we couldn’t figure out how to turn on the hanging lights in the bedroom.

Perfect!

The photos are spot on. This perfectly located clean, sunlit, well appointed apartment is cozy and comfortable. Communication with the manager was excellent. Very secure building with state-of-the-art keyless access. I walked and biked everywhere. Minutes from the lake! AC was key as it was hot out! A great stay. I’lll definitely be back.

Lovely Neighborhood Lincoln Park

Jonathan’s place was great for a long weekend for two couples and we’d defintely consider their properties for another trip. It’s conveniently located and had all the amenities we needed, and more. There are plenty of places to eat, drink, and shop nearby, and we were a 25 ride share (at most) from everywhere we went in the city, even on a holiday weekend.Jonathan and the Neighborhood team were very responsive, available via text nearly around the clock, and always open to feedback.Some additional notes: this building does not have an elevator, the property and surrounding area are lively but quiet, all windows had privacy blinds but an eye mask would still be helpful in the mornings, and as usual Chicago’s water pressure leaves something to be desired.

Excellent communication to overcome a rough start

First things first, please note that this is "The Neighborhood Hotel", and they will text you before your stay to confirm. Next, note that there are no elevators, so depending on how much luggage you bring, it will be a slight workout or very exhausting. We ended up needing to stay in another room in the building than the one we originally booked, so this review is for their rooms in general. All that being said, the room was very charming, nicely renovated, and very comfortable. Beds were very comfortable and everything was very clean. Their guidebook was a nice read and gave lots of nice suggestions. The hosts, Jonathan and Matt, were very responsive and accommodating. The location is great, with many food and drink options nearby, including right next door. All in all, I would book again if I had less suitcases.
