Panhandle Getaways furnishes a few essential items for guests to utilize until they can get to the grocery store. One roll of toilet paper in each bathroom and one paper towel roll in the kitchen. All bed linens and towels are provided. We encourage guests to bring beach towels for use at the pool and beach.

Great condo

The condo was as represented. The beds were comfortable and it was super nice to have king sized beds. Great beach front space. The kitchen has a great assortment of pots and pans. Nice amount of dinnerware and coffee cups. The appliances including washer and dryer are topnotch.

Fabulous view

The view is beautiful. We loved waking up and seeing that view every morning and the sunsets were amazing. The condo is large and had everything we needed. I would recommend it to anyone. It is very close to restaurants and shopping. The balcony gives views that can’t be beat!!

Overall very nice accomodations but a couple of suggestions...there were no pot holders so oven cooking was a challenge to retrieve items from oven...(my daughter actually received a burn on her wrist using a dish towel which was all we could find). Might suggest area rugs as the tile had sand on it, making it slick, even though we swept daily. Due to hurricane, elevators and lights for walkways were out and took 3 days to get alternate lighting and it was not very bright so walking in after dark was scary...but, overall we were pleased and would definitely stay again...

Incredible views, beautiful condo!!

The condo was absolutely breathtaking! Located right on the beach, the evening sunsets were truly celestial!! Being a large condo, you will experience people coming and going constantly. Only downfall was long wait at check in. Truly an escape worth every dime!!!

Great condo for family vacation

We had an amazing time staying at Tidewater 817 and the view was to die for! The only things we recommend are: there was no wash clothes in the rooms, needs to be cleaned better and maintenance never came and fixed the toilet that didn't flush. We survived those minor hiccups and would definitely stay again.

Loved it!

Condo was clean and comfortable. High end appliances, well decorated and comfy beds. The views were to die for. You’re right on the beach and the balcony/deck is bigger than most. Nice table and seating. TVs were great. I can’t think of anything negative to say other than slow elevators and lots of people on the beach but that’s to be expected in a high rise. Overall highly recommend this condo! Thanks for a great vacation!

Overall it was a great stay

Loved the view and beachy decor of the condo. It was mostly clean but sand was on the floor throughout the place and under the couch. The worst part about the building is the elevators. We had to take the stairs many times through out our stay. We would wait 30+ mins for an elevator and it was often too full for our group or it would never show up. Leaving at the end of our stay was the worst. We waited 2 hrs with the cart of our things before being able to fit in the elevator with a cart. No option to take the stairs. It would have been too much stuff to carry.

The blind in the living room would not raise. So only half of the view. We did report that on our first day. Was not fixed. The floors were dirty and had to clean our feet every night before bed. Other than those issues. We had a nice time.

Pretty awesome place except for….

This place is pretty awesome! View is stunning. Beds are super comfortable . The unit is stocked with necessities. We had plenty of room for the 6 of us. Fabulous location on the beach. Excellent communication with property manager. The down side is just the elevators. The longest we had to wait was 35 minutes and that was at check out. Best advice is be patient. I spoke to a resident who said they will be placing new elevators in this year after summer ends. Everything was wonderful except for elevators so that is what made it 4 stars for us. We would love to stay again once the updated elevators are installed.

Best Condo Yet!

Tidewater resort, and this unit in particular, was THE NICEST we have ever reserved (and we've been to Destin and Panama City Beach numerous times!) * Immaculately clean * King-size mattresses in each bedroom - oh, so comfortable! * High end small and large appliances, artwork, and furniture * Extremely well-appointed kitchen * 180 degree view of the ocean from the 8th floor (no obstructions) * Excellent wi-fi connections * two pools, indoor and outdoor hot tubs * extremely responsive staff and excellent security * everything in good working order * lots of little extras - extra towels, soap, shampoo, and conditioner, puzzles, games, and a few books * beautiful beach/coastal décor * Sectional couch with two built-in electric recliners * Did I mention the VIEW?! We would gladly reserve this unit again!!!

The Emerald Blue view

We rented this property so our ailing grandmother could sit and enjoy the beautiful view which this unit truly delivered on. The property was nicely decorated, clean, and had the most amazing emerald blue views! Our stay was relaxing and undisturbed. Since we visited in September we found the elevator at the end of the building near our unit to arrive quickly and was empty most times. We really appreciated that we did not have a long list of check out items other than take out our trash (the trash chute was nearby) and load our dirty dishes/run the dishwasher. Properties that charge us a cleaning fee yet still has a list of chores for us are not cool. Hats off to the cleaning crew because this unit was truly clean…no greasy handprints anywhere in the kitchen etc. The only recommendation I’d make to the owner is to have the walls and baseboards in the entry foyer freshened up. Highly recommend this property!

BEAUTIFUL AND SCENIC

BEAUTIFUL CONDO WITH AMAZING VIEWS OF SUNRISE AND SUNSETS. THE PLACE WAS SPACIOUS FOR 7 FAMILY MEMBERS OF 5 ADULTS AND 2 TEENS. BEDS AND LOUNGING COUCH WAS COMFY. WE DIDN'T COOK FOR OUR SHORT STAY OF TWO NIGHTS BUT IT SEEMED TO BE STOCKED WITH EVERYTHING NEEDED IF WE WOULD HAVE. HOT WATER WAS BIT SCARCE IF MULTIPLE PEOPLE TRYING TO SHOWER AT THE SAME TIME BUT NOT A BIG DEAL. MY ONLY SUGGESTION IS A PHYSICAL WELCOME NOTE. I'VE STAYED AT SEVERAL VRBO'S AND LOVE GETTING WELCOMING PACKAGES WITH WI-FI INFO AND OTHER INSTRUCTIONS. THERE WAS NO INSTRUCTION FOR THE TV AND WE COULD NOT GET IT TO WORK. WHEN I TEXT MANAGEMENT COMPANY THEY RESPONDED WITH MAINTENANCE PHONE NUMBER. IT WASN'T THAT BIG OF AN ISSUE TO BOTHER MAINTENANCE AND IT WAS A LITTLE PAST BUSINESS HOURS. WE ONY WANTED TO WIND DOWN WITH A MOVIE AT THE END OF A BUSY DAY...IT WOULD NOT HINDER OUR FAMILY BOOKING THIS PROPERTY AGAIN. GREAT ACCESS TO THE BEACH AND CLOSE TO MANY EATERIES AND PIER PARK SHOPPING.

The view from the condo was awesome

The condo was the perfect size for our group of 7 adults. The view from all the windows & the outside deck was awesome. Being a corner unit the living room & deck are much bigger than the inside units. All the beds were very comfortable except the bunks. We had a couple of things that needed maintenance & they were there right away to handle the problems. Both men were very helpful & nice. Our only complaints are they only had 1 kitchen towel and no wash clothes for the bathrooms so if you rent this property you will need to bring some with you and the floors are quite dirty. They need a good mopping because they turn your feet black if you don’t have on shoes. (A good reason for needing wash clothes:) The patio door is REAL hard to open. They need to put something on the door explaining that it’s hard & which way to push to open it. It takes 2 hands to open & push to the right. We were there in the off season so the elevators weren’t a big problem like people have said that were there in the summer. The refrigerator in this unit is amazing!! Much bigger & nicer than my house & any rental I’ve ever been in. Overall a good condo & I would recommend it.
