Pinehurst Tree House

Known as one of the famous "Pinehurst Tree Houses", number 12 is your perfect Condo. This tree house sits in the Brae Burn Community of Pinehurst, built in the 1970's. Enjoy the entire condo for you and your group! Located near Pinehurst No. 3, you are centrally located in the town of Pinehurst. This tree house is decorated and well equipped for a long or short term rental. This rental does include a private washer and dryer (located in base of home), beautiful views of Pinehurst Lake and private wrap around deck. Guests do NOT have lake access!
Home has a standard drip coffee maker. Please no more than 2 cars at vacation home.

Quaint and Efficient

This place is great for a couple or a few guys planning their Pinehurst visit. The location was very easy to get to many places and a grocery store right up the road.

Loved the Treehouse Pod!

We loved the Treehouse Pod! It was clean and adorable. My only complaint was I wish there was coffee for the for the 1st morning. We got in late and coffee would have been nice to have first thing before we were able to go to the grocery store the next day.

Tree House

Great location on the lake. Quiet neighborhood with lovely views of the water. Very clean and comfortable for 2, a stretch for 4 people and quite a real stretch for 6 with two on the sofa bed. Nonetheless, a wonderful stay in a lovely home.

Perfect Treehouse!

We loved our cozy treehouse for the week! It was perfect for cooking meals and relaxing on the deck. So peaceful looking at the water with our feet up after a round of golf! Can’t wait to return!!!

Cozy & Cool!

The cozy treehouse was not only beautifully designed but also utilized space brilliantly. The modern appliances & close to grocery store made dinner a breeze. Despite the record-breaking heat we were pleasantly surprised that the treehouse stayed nice and cool throughout the day.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family lives in Pinehurst and we needed a place to stay for the Holiday season visit. We found this rental and absolutely loved it. it was clean, comfortable, and close to all family members. The view of the lake was beautiful. Only complaint was that all windows (rental is mostly windows) were covered with curtains except for the window facing the other units, which left privacy to a minimum especially in the evening. My family were able to check the place out and were thoroughly impressed. They now will recommend this rental to other family and friends who are visiting. 10/10 will stay again!

Unique Vaca in the Trees

We had a quick 3 day stay in Pinehurst and enjoyed our stay at this cottage in the trees. Very cute decor and set up with shady views of the lake. Everything you need in the kitchen for cooking in. Things to know. If you have more than one couple and use both bedrooms, there is not a lot of privacy. There is a pull barndoor for the only bathroom with a shower. Second bathroom is just the sink and toilet. You can hear everyone throughout the spaces that are separated by thin walls and some walls are just partial to the ceiling. That said, its a convenient and unique place to stay while in the area. Inside was very clean. The deck and stairs could use a once over to clear spider webs and at some point the deck should be repainted, but weather takes it toll. Thanks!

Could Have Done Better

Fair. I would not recommend this property to friends or family. Eg - there was no Welcome packet listing WiFi code or ANY details of the property. I had NO idea there was a washing machine dryer downstairs until the last day. The locks for the sliding doors did not function from the outside. No explanation on how to use the remotes in either bedroom. The floor next to the Master bed, felt like you would fall through at any second. The deck floor was beginning to rot away. The driveway was a rut highway. All in all it served its purpose as a landing spot for golf in the area, but it was certainly not what I expected. We were planning on using VRBO in early December for a trip to Marco Island, FL.

Overall this is a lovely house. I feel that the skillets need updating and the floor in the bedroom needs addressed. It felt like it was sagging and was very creaky. The place was clean. We loved the quality of the bedding and towels. Would definitely stay there again.
