This gorgeous 1-bedroom 1-bathroom condo has been completely updated and has an exquisite rooftop deck overlooking Highland Park and Uptown. It will comfortably sleep 4 people in beds. There is a full kitchen on the main level and a kitchenette with wine fridge and dishwasher on the roof to easily host a lovely wine dinner. Located in the heart of Oaklawn/Uptown… easily walk to many excellent restaurants, bars and shopping. Cleanings are done by the 5-Star team at Hospitality Host of Dallas.

Great stay!
A nice spot on the lake in a convenient location and the unit itself was nice. Can’t really walk anywhere easily from the location, more due to the lack of sidewalks, but very quick/easy to get around by car. Owner was informative and easy to reach - nothing but positive things to say about our stay!

Perfect Long Term Rental for Dallas
I stayed here for almost a month while on a short term work assignment in Dallas. The location is amazing, the property is clean (and cool), and the owner is friendly and responsive. I loved the rooftop and only wish it had been Summer! I would stay here again and I am happy to recommend this to all fellow travelers.

Had two colleagues in this VRBO for two months. Perfect choice. Exactly as described and good area. The host-team was very pleasant, professional and communicative on the few questions about digital door lock, internet, etc. Would recommend for two people, just enough space and well kept.

Great property in a great location for a weekend getaway!
We stayed here recently for a long weekend -- great property for an adult couple in a great, safe, quiet location. Quick proximity to hip neighborhoods, pubs, shopping and restaurants. Private rooftop balcony looked fantastic but it was 115 degrees the weekend we were in Dallas, so we checked it out after sundown, but could definitely see getting some use out of it if we stayed here again in fall/winter/spring. Fantastic location and great communication with owners. Would happily stay here again!!

Could not have asked for a better place to stay in terms of space, location, cleanliness, and super comfortable bed! Everything about this place was as advertised. Only wish we could have taken advantage of the rooftop which looked great but way too hot to enjoy in the summer heat. Thanks Kristin!

Last Minute NYE trip
Everything was great! It was a perfect location less than $20 Uber black trip to many restaurants. The bed was extremely comfortable! The rooftop patio was amazing, especially since we had such GREAT weather NYE. Thank you for your hospitality. We will be back!

The unit was very clean and cozy. The location was excellent and parking was convenient and easy. We didn’t get to enjoy the walkable restaurants and bars due to the nature of our visit, but the location is very conducive to that. I did take a few jogs through Highland Park which was very enjoyable.

Great Price and Location
Price was very reasonable and responsiveness of owner excellent. Bed was comfortable and living area met our needs well. A couple of hiccups that would improve the property. Several areas in the ceiling of the bedroom 2nd floor below the open-air deck had hanging paint and plaster dangling from obvious prior ceiling water leaks. The stairs from the main living area to the bedroom have no railing or hand holds creating safety hazard. One evening when gently pulling the curtains closed in the bedroom, the entire curtain and rod fixture fell to the floor. It had obviously happened previously based on condition of the walls holes previously holding the curtain rods and repaired poorly. I had to "jerry-rig" curtains to avoid lights shining into bedroom. To the credit of the owner, they were contacted next morning and it was swiftly repaired.

Review - Do Not Recommend - Roof Leaks
Our short trip was planned for May 3rd - 7th and we planned on staying here. Due to weather, we arrived on the 4th early that morning. The rental properties roof was leaking in serval different places - stair case and in the room. I sent a message upon arrival (2:00am) explaining the issue of the roof leaking. Later that morning (9:00am) I began trying to get in contact with the host, which was unsuccessful. I then reached out to the support team with VRBO and they were also unsuccessful contacting the host. Around 1:00 the host finally reaches out. She was not able to give us any sort of refund, and had no interested in helping. She was not understanding of our situation, considering that we have a dog with us and now have to find somewhere to stay on short notice due to her rental being in an unlivable state. She also did not want to give us a full refund.
Thankfully VRBO support team has been so very helpful and understanding through this mess.

Nice home away from home in a quiet area, close to many amenities
We found our little home away from home a great base for an extended weekend. Here are the pros: very well cleaned unit; cute kitchen on main floor & matching kitchenette on top floor, with beautiful backsplash tiles; access to unit via an app (August)-much easier than using a keypad; large, comfy king sized bed; great neighborhood in walking distance to restaurants, shopping & trails; comfy living area with electric fireplace & TV; really nice rooftop patio; strong water pressure in shower when using waterfall shower (but not other head). Here are the cons: tight parking at ground level, walk up 15 outside concrete steps to access front door, living room & kitchen; walk up 12 more steps to reach the bedroom & ONLY bathroom; climb a spiral staircase to reach rooftop patio. If you have mobility issues, this is not the unit for you; the description doesn’t convey that the only way to reach a bathroom is via stairs. I’d recommend leaving lights on when climbing from living room to bedroom, as the tiles seem to run together & it’s difficult to see when one stair ends & next begins. The walls of windows in both living room & bedroom are not in good shape (seals long broken & minimal visibility) & are covered by curtains/rods that are chintzy & difficult to open/close. WiFi was not strong & watching TV through apps was nearly impossible. Good overall experience that needs a little more TLC. For the price, it still gets 5 stars, but be aware of cons. I’d still rent here again

Great location lots of options for restaurants, shopping and easy access to major highways. Quiet building and neighborhood. Only issues I would note there is a lot of old water damage in the unit. We stayed for about a month and it snowed for a few days. We had to purchase a space heater to keep the downstairs a comfortable temperature due to lack of windows and doors being sealed properly. That being said this type of weather is not typical for the area.
