Welcome to Proteus. This beautiful and classically designed Greek Revival home features unobstructed views of the Gulf of Mexico and the luxuries of beachside living. Located just steps from the town center, there is easy access to dining, shopping, bike trails, tennis and pickleball courts, work out facilities and three swimming pools. Proteus accommodates up to six guests and is conveniently located in the heart of Seaside. Entering the home on the first floor, you will find three bedrooms and two baths. The master suite offers a king-sized bed, tv, porch access, and ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower for two. The second bedroom includes a queen-sized bed, porch access, and tv. The third bedroom has a full-over-full bunk bed and tv. At the back of the first floor, there is a large screened-in porch with Adirondack chairs providing a great spot to relax and take in a good book. Here you will also find a laundry space with a side-by-side washer and dryer.

Walking up a stunning spiral staircase to the second floor, you will find an open entertainment and dining area that share grand views of the emerald coast. An additional bathroom is also located on this floor. The living area has ample seating, beautiful décor, and a Smart TV. You will also find a fully equipped galley-style kitchen featuring a Wolf gas range and convection oven and a Sub-Zero refrigerator, suitable for any culinary endeavor. There is additional dining and Adirondack chairs on the second floor’s covered deck. This spacious porch is the perfect place to dine with friends and family or just relax while enjoying the soft sounds of waves crashing onto sugar-white sand.

On the third floor of the home, you will find a breathtaking 360-degree view of Seaside. This Greek temple inspired room contains floor to ceiling windows on all sides. Encased in this windowed observatory is a desk on which to work, as well as a sitting area perfect for an early morning coffee. From there, you can step out onto the wrap-around sun deck to see unobstructed views of the sunset every evening, complete with tall Adirondack chairs and sun lounger.

Outside, there is parking suitable for two vehicles. In the back, there is an enclosed outdoor shower convenient for days spent relaxing in the sand, as well as a charcoal grill to expand your dinner options. Guests are welcome to use the four beach cruiser bicycles for ease of transport or taking a ride on the numerous scenic bike pathways. Beach access is located directly beside the home. You will also have access to Proteus’s adjacent gated lot where you will find a private pathway which leads to Adirondack chairs overlooking the beach while being surrounded by a magnificent coastal scrub ecosystem.
