Take a soak in our newly refinished 106 year old bathtub with creek views from the second floor window. Explore our property and see what kind of beauty North Alabama holds! Worried about connectivity? We have Fiber Internet that is blazing fast along with a Roku TV so you can keep up with all your favorite shows via Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, Prime Video!

We have a fully stocked kitchen complete with pots/pans/utensils so whether you want to whip up a meal or just toss a frozen pizza in the oven we have you covered. Also we have an outdoor grilling area complete with Large Big Green Egg... come throw some steaks or chicken on the grill!

Master bedroom has a Queen bed, Guest bedroom upstairs has a Queen bed, and the loft bedroom has a Full size Antique Rope Bed we restored! All new mattresses, pillows and linens as of March 2021.

Relaxing getaway

We had a wonderful two-day stay in this cozy cabin, nestled in nature. The soothing sound of the creek flowing just behind the cabin made our experience even more relaxing, creating the perfect retreat for unwinding and reconnecting with nature.

Great getaway

We really enjoyed our stay. It’s very clean and quiet. The only thing I would recommend was for you to bring your own bath towels and wash cloths. I feel like we spent 2 days at the little house on the prairie.

Peaceful Retreat

My husband surprised me with this trip. All he said was, "Bring your rubber boots!" I was delighted to find this charming cabin had a creek for us to play in and go exploring! Great escape for us to relax and enjoy this clean cabin. My only tiny disappointment was I ran out of hot water filling the tub (loved the tub!!!) I averaged about filling the tub half way before running out of hot water. However, this would not keep me from coming back and I would still recommend this place 100%! We had great communication with Chase and am thankful to have had the opportunity to stay at this great cabin!!!

What an amazing little oasis. Sitting on the porch and listening to the water and the birds was amazing. The cabin was so clean and so cozy! Perfect for our girls weekend!

Watch your step

Had two very BAD falls one down the front steps onto a large Rock then during the night got up to go up the stairs to the only toilet and fell into the shower in the bed room concusion bed too small and matress is terrible during the night a tree fell worried it was the rotten tree near our car. air conditioners all make a loud noise to where you can not stand it. No sponge to wash dishes with Had to climb up on a rock in bath room to use toilet and close to hitting your head stepping down . :Loved the stream out side the cabin but do NOT plan to go back again I almost had two trips to hospital.

Great, Rustic Cabin

Two night weekend getaway at the Creekside Cabin did not disappoint. The cabin was exactly as advertised and communication with the owner was quick. We would stay here again.

Robotics Rendezvous

Great place to stay to find retreat. Quaint little cabin provides a rustic vibe and is off the beaten path. However, it's close enough to all the amenities and provides many as well. Definitely see a return visit in my future.

We had an absolutely wonderful time here. We couldn’t have ask for anything more perfect. A relaxing, peaceful getaway close to the Tennessee River. Chad was so easy to work with and so accommodating. We definitely will be back. Thank you for sharing your beautiful place with us.

As close to perfect as can be.

The location is awesome, wildlife right outside the cabin both mornings and nights. My wife lost her mind over the cabin itself. The only negative, and this was very slight, was the water pressure in the shower left a lot to be desired. 99.999/100 - we'll definitely stay again and bring the kiddos who were pretty jealous of the cabin, creek, swing over the creek, and all the critters we saw.

Weekend getaway near our college student

We found the rustic cabin to be a great retreat and in a good location to convene with our college student. The cabin is rustic, porch, swing, creek out back but with creature comforts of air conditioning, comfortable beds, bathrooms… We cooked our meals at the cabin. Note there is not a microwave. We had lots of fun winding down the evenings with the record player and Fleetwood Mac. The bathroom configuration was a little awkward but no big deal - you have a shower in the master and a full bathroom upstairs with a tub. We did struggle with the freezer on the refrigerator but it’s a classic model that fits the feel of the space and tends to freeze over. All in all, it was peaceful, unique, comfortable, and I would stay here again. Checkin I’m easy and zero touch with excellent communication.

This place is magical during Leaf Peeping Season

Chase was so kind and such a great communicator that it felt like we were friends not guest. The town of Killen is absolutely stunning during the Leaf change. We will definitely stay here again for leaf peeping season. The cabin is very private and on a large lot to explore. There is a main Hwy not too far that you can hear cars zooming but the babbling creeks & song birds drown put most noise. It rained for two hours and the rain drops on the tin roof almost put you in a state of Euphoria. We had a magical stay there. It was well stocked with absolutely everything you need. It is stated to bring your own beach towels for the creek because there is a swing over the water and lots of beach/creek toys to play with in the water. There are fluffy towels for the 106 yr old bathtub that I spent every night in with the candles glowing and the lights off. Super romantic!!! Beds are soft, sofas are large. TV has streaming services. So bring your passwords. We had a lot of plans to do tours & dinners in town. But the cabin was so neat we cooked there and hung out on the porch and had a great time doing nothing but relaxing. There are lots of things to do in Florence but plan on just exploring Killen and it charm. It's all relaxing. One NEGATIVE thing to be aware of if you are sensitive to noise. The beautiful 100 + year old floors do creek. Every step you take. And there is nothing anyone can do about that other than appreciate how old and unique and original the cabin is. But will drive you crazy lol. I can't wait to go back. Step back in time and just be content. Escape work life. Perfect Writers/nature lovers Retreat. Stores are all very close too. So once you get everything you don't need to leave again. We stayed for two nights. Our mistake was not booking for 5 nights. Husband & Wife from SE Louisiana. Went to Dismal Canyon, Amish Country, and the Indian Mound Museum all nearby. Ate at Champy Famous Fried Chicken in Muscle Shouls. Highly recommended for music lovers and funky vibe people. Chicken really is so good it should be famous. We throughly enjoyed ourselves. Thank you chase!

We are both UNA Graduates and Florence natives. We love kayaking with our 3 daughters and just spending time with friends and family! We would love to host you!

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

My wife and I were both raised in the "Shoals" area and when we found this property we knew we could restore it and make it into an awesome spot for our friends and family to use! It had been abandoned with no power or water for 17 years when we bought it. We spent about a year clearing land and restoring and updating the cabin to make it as comfortable and welcoming as we could without losing all the charm of the historic log cabin. Even though this cabin makes you feel as if you are out in the middle of nature, Downtown Florence is a mere 15 minute drive away! Or head into Killen for groceries, gas, snacks etc. that are all less than a mile away.

The views and sounds of the creek from the back porch will be so relaxing! Sit on the porch swing or around the firepit while your kids or grandkids play in the creek and explore nature!
