Great place to stay for families

Lots of activities and if you feel like getting out of the resort, Kapolei has some great places to eat and has a water park.

Great getaway

The resort has everything you want: great pools, a relaxing beach, beautiful views, restaurants, shave ice and the perfect spot for sunset. The resorts staff was friendly and attentive, and the room was great. The location is also far away from the hustle and bustle of Honolulu and Waikiki, and a good jumping off point to the North Shore. We will definitely be back.

Awesome Resort

The resort is the reason to choose this place. Great amenities, beach beautiful and waterfall pool so great. Room for a little tight for 4, and ocean view wasn’t great as you can’t see from room. You had to lean over balcony to see.

Karen did not pay for an Ocean View. Karen booked agreed to a Mountain View room at time of booking as the Ocean View option was not available for her stay.

Met my needs

Only complaint is having to wait a few hours when i had to switch rooms. Overall, a good facility, clean rooms, great proximity to beach, etc. Restaurants could open earlier.

Beautiful property with plenty of amenities

No issues with Marriott, they were superb in all aspects. Only complaints are VRBO process to book was cumbersome and confusing and, although we thought all costs were collected up front, there was an unexpected additional daily tax of about $9/day collected by the property.

Lot of apprehension first time renting through VRBO

Little apprehensive about using VRBO for the first time. Room view better than expected. Excellent location, amenities, and accommodation. Overall excellent experience except for difficulty getting in touch, communicating, and feedback with and from rental manager prior and post trip.

Shirt but sweet stay at Ko Olina

Enjoyed our short but sweet stay at Marriott Beach Club Ko Olina! Booked last minute but was able to get studio rooms. Accommodations and resort were great. Hotel even stored our baggage and groceries while we had to switch rooms( had 2 separate reservations). We were able to enjoy resort while waiting for our 2nd room. Lagoon was beautiful. Rented a cabana. Took our 15 month old grandson with us to meet/ surprise his great grandma. He enjoyed the lagoon and splash park. Thank you to the staff for making our vacation a memorable and enjoyable one!

Another Memorable Vacation

This is our second time staying at the Marriott Ko’0lina Beach Club. From check in to check out, everyone is so welcoming and helpful. We were able to check in early because our room happened to be ready. The property has many activities for adults and kids alike. We spent time in all of the pools except the quiet pool (Reflection Pool) and spent a great deal of time at the lagoon. While busy, we were always able to get a seat by the pool and at the lagoon. We didn’t have to, but knew we could, rent a cabana if needed. Within walking distance to the restaurants Aulani and the Four Seasons, as well as Monkeypod, a Mexican restaurant, Eggs and Things, and an ABC store. We love this resort and can’t wait to come back.

Pretty location but our room was a bit lacking

Overall the room was spacious and very clean and the property very nice but there were a few things that detracted from our stay. The bathroom did not have a fan nor any window so it smelled at times. The AC was loud and blew on our heads when in bed. This is very minor nit picky thing, a night stand or very small table was used as a coffee table in front of the couch. This made for watching tv and putting our feet up impossible. Seemed more odd than anything else that a coffee table would not be used. The food options/restaurants were just ok. Nothing to write home about. But you could walk to The Four Seasons and enjoy their restaurants and coffee shop. Overall it's a fine resort esp. for the price but I read 4-5 star reviews and it was more of a 3-4 start for my husband and me. Finally, the buildling our room was in was very close to an industrial site which contributed to the so so vibe for us of the whole resort.
