The cottage was fine for us to visit with my dog, and it was well located for trips to Asheville and Laurel Park. Everything was as stated on VRBO and we enjoyed our stay.
This cabin was perfect for a short trip. Everything was well take care of, great views, great location. I only wish it was fenced in, but still a perfect stay.
This was our 2nd time staying in the Holy Cow cabin. We love the location and the farm is so peaceful! They really think of every little touch to the place. Our puppers loves it too!
The cabin was very cute, with all the amenities needed. The woodwork is extraordinary and the cow decorating theme was perfect. The location is so close to so many interesting things. I will definitely stay there again!
Our family had an enjoyable stay at this property. It was fairly close to town with many options for food and conveniences. A charming cottage and our daughter enjoyed the 3 horses in the pasture that bordered the property.
My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful log cabin. Even though it rained the whole time we were there it was great to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Really enjoyed seeing the horses and cows. Wish we could have stayed longer.
We had an amazing time visiting Holy Cow cabin during our apple orchard trip. Very clean and well stocked. Our kids loved the horses and sitting out on the porch. We had a great trip! Thank you!
The cabin was so cute, loved waking up to horses out front in the morning. My husband and I just wanted to get away for a couple days and when I saw this place was in the middle of a farm, I was sold. We had everything we needed, close to town (lots of vineyards and breweries). We had a lovely stay, I had a couple questions for the host and she responded very quickly (within minutes). Would stay again and we plan to in the spring! Thank you for a nice little getaway!
Great cabin overlooking Triple Creek in Hendersonville.....quiet setting......horses welcomed us every morning......and Cynnamon was also a welcomed surprise!!!!!!!!
We wanted to check out multiple cities such as Brevard, cashier, Highlands, Tryon, Asheville and Hendersonville and this was an awesome location to do that. The cabin was cozy and loved seeing the horses in the mornings. The owner was so nice and gave some restaurant recommendations. The house had a cute little coffee bar that was stocked also. We had our 2 dogs with us and there is a dog park 8 minutes away. Would highly recommended this place.
We had a very nice stay while visiting a freind in Hendersonville. It is on a horse farm amd has a real farm feel to it that reminded me of growing up on my Grandfather's farm. Super clean and comforatble with all the necessities. Close to parks, restaurants, etc. Our dog loved walking around the property and was intrigued by the horses. It was a very enjoyable visit for the weekend.
I was a little disappointed about the view of the road and power lines. Also, so many stink bugs alive and dead. Otherwise, it was a perfect little weekend getaway, the stocked kitchen was nice for our charcuterie board:)
The cabin itself is beautiful and has everything needed to feel at home, including an adorable coffee/tea bar, dishwasher, washer and dryer, plenty of paper towels and toilet paper, plenty of towels, sattelite tv and wifi, a wonderful porch with a nice charcoal grill and seating, and a nice soft/medium bed. We both slept great on the comfortable bed. The showerhead leaves much to desire, but the entire cabin is updated, well decorated, has fun games, and we felt at home.
Angela was super fast to communicate when we needed help getting in and another time we contacted her. Great host!
The farm and property are pretty small and the pictures do not reflect that another cabin was built where the gravel fire pit was. While that made for slightly less privacy, especially at the new fire pit location, we felt alone on the property while on the porch. The photos also show lots of horses and cows and there were only a couple of each during our stay. There was, however, the sweetest dog named Cynamin! We loved having her as an over night guest on the 4th of July. She is very timid at first but you can win her heart! We loved playing with her!
The location is very convenient to visit many places in just a short-ish drive. We visited Pisgah National Forest, DuPont State Park, Maggie Valley, Pretty Place Chapel, and so many waterfalls in the area. North Carolina is just beautiful and we loved our time at Holy Cow. Cynamin really was a huge highlight of our trip - we loved her so so much!
