Wendy and her son Stu were wonderful hosts. They gave use recommendations of what to see and do while on our stay. The house was central to everything we did. We will definitely go back.
Wendy and Rick were absolutely amazing host the house was great and the property was outstanding the walk to the river and the swimming hole made the place that much better couldnât ask for any better host they built us a fire so the kids could make sâmores we got some fresh vegetables from the garden we are so blessed we DEFINITELY will be back thanks for EVERYTHING And the hospitality
Property was clean and comfortable, location was perfect, owner was more than accommodating. The entire family was so appreciative of the kindness of the owner, we didnât want to leave and certainly would stay again for our next annual float trip. â€ïž
This was a very clean and convenient property. It was perfect and close to the river. Also, if you're floating, they will come pick you up from this property. The host was great, it has everything you need.
It was perfect for us. There was 6 of us. The host is very sweet. It was a very short drive to the company we float with. The location was perfect for what we were there for. Canât wait for next years girls trip!
Great location for an outdoor adventure We were able to hike in Johnson shut ins, fish /play in the black river, 4 wheel in Suttons Bluff and end the day around a campfire.
House was as described. Owner was the next house over. So was available for any questions. Enjoyed meeting her dogs.
The location is just a few miles from most of the Black River float services. When we arrived the everything was exactly as described. It's an older trailer home, but it was very clean and had everything we needed. New carpet throughout living area is awesome and a brand new grill for cooking outside! Perfect place to enjoy the crazy parties of the river, and then peace and quiet of this location with beautiful sunsets from the deck. We will definately be back!
Wendy and Rick were amazing hosts! They were there for us from the moment we checked in throughout each day and helped us when we got stuck on the river. Their hospitality went above and beyond! The place was so roomy. The beds were so comfortable. We had so much space for the six of us to move about. We love the location and will definitely be back next year!
We had an amazing two night stay here with friends while in Lesterville for a float trip. The place was exactly as described, comfortable, had everything we needed, and very close to the river. We enjoyed spending time at the river prior to and after our float trip. The owner was quick to respond to all of our inquires and was very accommodating. We all already agreed that we would love to stay here next time we are down that way to float.
Property was very clean and everything in working order exactly as described. Will definitely be here again if available next year for our annual float. Wendy was great and responded to our inquiries almost immediately. Extremely happy with the choice to stay with her property!
Owner was very communicative. Place was clean and as advertised, beds were comfy, kitchen was stocked and plenty of towels. would definitely stay here again
We enjoyed our stay for 2 nights at this rustic mobile home in Lesterville. It is very close to Johnsonâs Shut-Ins and walking distance to the Black River for tubing or just a nice dip. Our kids loved catching and releasing the crayfish and we even saw some tadpoles. The river current can be really strong so make sure you have a life vest on the little ones and older kids should be good swimmers. We also hiked Elephant Rocks which is a 20-25 minute drive. Bring your own DVDs since there are 2 TVs hooked up for videos. We had no luck getting Internet access through our cell service, but I heard thereâs an AT&T tower close by. We would definitely come back again. Contact the host if youâre planning a huge meal - the kitchen has limited pots, pans, etc.
