Door County Fall Fest Sturgeon Bay Green Bay Packers Shuttle Lake Michigan
Come enjoy a stay at our newly remodeled house. Completely new interior and exterior. Exterior has ample parking and limestone firepit. Interior has newly finished hardwood floors, fresh paint, tile shower, granite counter tops. Comfy furniture, plenty of space for all. Short drive to Green Bay, go north to visit Door County, or stay in Algoma and see what it all has to offer! Algoma has a shuttle bus to home packer games. See picture of flyer!
The property is lovely. Lots of space. And we enjoyed playing games at the dining room table and chatting around a fire. We would definitely stay again.
We were in town for a family wedding and the house was perfect for me, my husband, and my adult kids. We had everything we needed and enjoyed the outdoor space.
We enjoyed our short stay. House is clean and spacious. Everything you need in the kitchen, plenty of towels and linens, paper products too. We were able to walk to the waterfront, restaurants and little boutique shops. Nice backyard with stone firepit though we were in town for just the weekend for a wedding and didnât have time to use it. Good set up at this house.
The Water Street Landing was a perfect fit for our family. The house was very clean and well stocked. Loved the outdoor patio area. The host was prompt in communicating with us and overall great to work with. Would definitely return for a future stay.
We love staying at this property! It is our second year. Perfect for a larger family vacation. Close proximity to all that we enjoy. Comfortable sleeping arrangements. Love the full kitchen and sunroom. Amy is a wonderful host!
We stayed at Amyâs VRBO so we could check out the off-season vibe of Algoma since it is on our short list of towns to move to. From here we could walk to anywhere of interest in town! The house was clean and the fire pit was a great place to hang out after dinner.
If I could make one recommendation to improve the property, that would be to add some non-slip carpet strips (or something similar) to the wood stairs. The 2yo slipped in her socks and we kept our octogenarian downstairs to avoid a potential a potential fall.
Our family had a wonderful time in Algoma! This property was everything we had hoped for. The location, cleanliness, and amenities were spot on. Sleeping space for 6 adults and 2 children was perfect. The sun room and fire pit was a favorite! The kids loved the extra lot for space to run. Extra towels provided was great. The only feedback would be to provide a few folding chairs - with only 6 dining room chairs, we utilized the smaller stools for sitting all 8 of us around the dinner table.
House was very clean and roomy for our larger group (6 adults & 2 toddlers). Having 2 rooms with king size beds and 2 bathrooms was really nice. My only complaint would be the checkout list. I felt like we had quite a chore list before we could leave (emptying all garbage's, taking garbage to garage, putting all clean dishes away, and starting laundry). I don't mind picking up a bit but I paid a cleaning fee so I felt some of those things could have been covered by that. Otherwise, I'd stay there again.
The house looks small in the listing, but it is surprisingly roomy inside. We had 2 families of four staying and it worked out great for us.
It isnt really more than an hour in any direction to whatever you would like to do. (Washington Island to a Packer Game). It is also right on the main road up the peninsula, but you are also almost right on the water (can see Lake Michigan from the back of the house) and within a short walk to the beach.
There is a bar right around the corner for a fully loaded bloody Mary, if you are feeling up to it. (WE BOUGHT 2, and that turned into breakfast for our entire group because it was loaded with everything imaginable).
Our teenagers enjoyed a fire every night with smores, and the adults could enjoy an evening of Euchre in the back dinning room with the fire pit area in full view.
We used the grill each night for dinner, and the beds were comfy as well.
The only minor issues I can even note is that there aren't any fans in the bathrooms so the heat (upstairs especially) was noticed with so many people showering. There are floor fans to use in each room to help with this. You also don't want to open windows due to lake flies, but they really weren't too bad or a nuisance.
Finally, a breaker did flip while we were there, but that was easily switched back on with a quick trip to the basement.
All in all it was a good experience and we were able to book last minute too.
Had a few questions along the way and Amy was on top of all them. Very clean home with a great fridge with an ice maker -that was a big deal to us. We appreciate their hospitality and prompt solutions! Would stay here again.
Really nice place!! Only thing we didn't like was check in wasn't until 4 PM and had to be out at 10 AM. Other then that, it was a very nice place and location.
We purchased this property and remodeled it completely with the intention of renting it. We rent properties every time we go on vacation and we know what we like in a house. Cleanliness is our top priority. Great Location, and accommodations are also top of the list.
The location of this property is Great!! Close to so many places. You can walk to the bakery, winery, the harbor and more. Many local establishments have weekly entertainment. We also have a view of the beautiful Lake Michigan. Inside is cozy and well stocked.
