Location Location Location! This is a private gated community of 4 houses located exactly between Manuel Antonio national park and the town of Quepos. It is 3-4 minutes to either. It is on top of a nice sized hill and there are several ocean views on the property. There is a public bus stop across the street that can bring you to the Manuel Antonio national park and beach cheaply if you don't want to drive, and there are tons of coffee houses and restaurants within walking distance!

Great Stay at Casa Azul

What a great location and overall setup! The staff was super friendly and helpful as well. Short walk to almost anything you’d need. Five minute ride down the hill to the national park. We will be staying here in the future!

Great location & amenities!

Very clean & secure property, with a great pool area that we enjoyed. Walking distance to lots of shops and restaurants and nice ocean view from our 2nd floor apartment where we enjoyed sunsets in the evenings. Nice terrace with hammock, rocking chairs and outdoor dining table. Overall great experience and highly recommend.

Seamless process from start to finish. We only stayed with Jose for one night on our way to our final destination. He met us for check in to show us around and answer questions. Jose was super friendly and helpful. The home was beautiful, clean and had everything we needed. His property and grounds are well maintained and charming. We would definately visit again.

Amazing response and flexibility

Stayed here for one night while moving all our stuff to Costa Rica. Jose and Francisco were amazing. They allowed us to check out late as we had to retrieve our truck and load everything from the room. They even helped carry some of our giant boxes!

BEST VRBO EVER

My husband and I stayed here for part of our honeymoon in Costa Rica and it was absolutely perfect! This is by far the best VRBO we have ever come across when traveling. Everything was top notch and very much exceeded ALL of our expectations! Gated property, working A/C, CLEAN, amazing pool, the BEST night guard (Martin), the BEST property contact (Fabian), and last but not least, the most gorgeous sunset view. Because of our amazing experience, we are already planning on our next trip to Costa Rica and staying HERE AGAIN! Perfect family spot

We loved our stay in the villa! It's a secure property with a handful of units, right off the main road heading to Manuel Antonio. It was close to everything we needed with incredible sunsets and all of the amenities we wanted. We enjoyed the shared pool and I had a work day that required strong wifi for meetings. Some of the construction nearby was a bit noisy, but I had no connectivity issues at all. The noise was not a problem for my meetings at all and typically we were out all day. This unit held our family of 4 nicely. We loved the porch cooked in the kitchen regularly. We would certainly be back and suggest this great rental to anyone visiting the area!

Outstanding property

I cannot recommend this property highly enough. José and his team are amazing; from Martin In security to the lovely ladies who provide housekeeping, everyone made our stay comfortable and secure. This property is beautiful, well maintained, clean and secure. It is located very close to restaurants and a grocery store. We rode the bus a mile or so to the beach which was super easy and convenient. This property is very close to Manuel Antonio national park and the Manuel Antonio chocolate tour, both “must see” attractions. You will love your stay here! There is one bedroom which is air conditioned with a king sized bed and 2 more day beds to accommodate more people. However, I would suggest no more than 4 people unless they are small children. The living space is comfortable and there is even Netflix! But you won’t want to stay inside much. There is a wealth of things to do.

Great stay in Manuel Antonio

My husband and I had a lovely time in Manuel Antonio! John was super communicative before the stay. Arrival was a little wonky, as the restaurant name that the VRBO was next to had changed, but we were given a different restaurant name. So, it was a tad tricky to find the place. Thankfully the owner of that restaurant let us use her wifi so I could get in touch with him quickly for check in! The pictures online are definitely accurate. I am not sure why other reviewers have had trouble with that. There is construction going on at the property as well, so just be aware of that. It didn't disrupt things too much though. The cleaning staff that cleaned the home everyday were lovely! John even arranged for one of the workers to cut down a coconut for my husband and I and it was waiting in the fridge after we got back from a day out. Great spot and located within walking distances of all you would need!!!

Misleading pictures

Pictures show a bedroom, front room and kitchen, but when we arrived we realised the front room had been removed and been replaced with more beds, and was not a room with both the beds and living area. This would have changed our mind on booking this place, as we were a big group and needed all the common space we could get. Also wasn't clear we had the only the top floor and not the whole villa, as well as the pool being shared. Location was good though, and staff were friendly.

I'm not sure, the pictures should show exactly what is in the house. There is a bed that pulls out from under the house. If you guys were bringing a big group, wouldn't you need the beds?

This property is located right on top of the Manuel Antonio hill, walking distance from all the restaurants, coffee houses, and stores that have made the area famous! There is also a beach bus that passes right in front of the house every 20 minutes, so you don't have to fight with parking down by the national park.
