Quiet, restful time in MN

Great property with lots of amenities. Movie room, TVs, hot tub all made for a fun stay. Easy checkin and clear instructions with host.

Not as good as I hoped

Firstly. He lied about how “messy” we left the house, my mother is disabled but we all have OCD and health issues but she still stood in that kitchen and cleaned it up nicely every! When we got there the house was filthy. Your kitchen was very dirty and messy. The counters were sticky, the dishes were dirty with food and hard crust on them, and the stove was greasy and crusty on the inside. The bathroom had a strong odor, and I had to buy bleach to clean it because there was still dirt and hair on the back and the seat. None of the showers had hot water; they were freezing cold. When we entered the garage, we had to shimmy the door open because it was stuck. Additionally, a cabinet in the basement fell off a hinge after the garage door shut when we first arrived, almost hitting me in the face. The bedroom linens were dirty and needed washing, so we had to use our personal throw pillows, and the pillows in the first room were stained.We will not allow anyone to lie and say we broke any rules when we did not. My family respects houses like it was our own.

This was a great place to stay while we were in town for hockey. Plenty of space for our family, including some extended family, to relax and hang out between games.

Christmas 2024 in Minnesota

The home is located in a quiet neighborhood near shopping and restaurants. Easy access to major highways. The layout of the home worked well for our 6 adults and 4 kids. The host was very attentive and responded quickly to our needs. We enjoyed the movie theater and hot tub. It was nice to be able to use the garage. One of the better homes that we have rented.

Exactly what we wanted

We were in town for a wedding. Family came from Colorado and a friend from Madison. This listing was perfect for our needs. The 16 and 18 year old girls loved the lower level. Their parents were were on the middle level where we were able to watch the Badgers. Sadly they lost. Very well equipped, though we couldn’t find placemats. A lovely home for 3 generations gathering in a great walking neighborhood. Thanks.

Everything you need!!

This home has everything you need for any occasion! Everyone can have their own space, beds I thought were very comfortable. Clean and updated. Owner was very accommodating and responded to questions in a timely manner. I would definitely stay here again! Hot tub was excellent after a day of wedding dress shopping.

The house was very clean and tidy, there were instruction on how to use everything, communication with Chad, the owner, was easy and he always answered my calls! Would 100% recommend for families, friend groups, just about anyone.

Family gathering for some fun in the cities

This our second time back to the Jenkins Retreat, we love the space and location, it's easy for our family to location and visit for coffee or a meal. Also close to any attractions we wished to see during our stay. We enjoy the movie theater and having multi5 cozy living rooms.

Amazing house.

My stay at the house was quite comfortable and I didn't hear any complaints from my firends either. We all got our own bed to sleep on and The Hot tub was nice and warm living up to its name. I highly recommend this house due to its close nature to the airport and mall of America (roughly 30 mins).

This Place Checks All of the Boxes

Our group of girlfriends loved this VRBO for our four night stay. There were six of us which allowed each of us to have our own bed and the beds and pillows were very comfy with nice bed linens. There were plenty of towels both for showering and the hot tub. We liked the detail of having washcloths designated for removing makeup. The seating in the living room, lower level and theatre also had sufficient spots for each of us which isn’t always the case in the VRBOs we have stayed in the past. There were plenty of dishes, pots and pans and they were in good condition and they even had tin foil and plastic wrap stocked. The outdoor seating was also nice and we were thrilled with the hot tub. The movie theater was so cool and we were able to get three movies in on during our long weekend stay. There is a book on site detailing operating instructions which was helpful, especially after using the hot tub. And we enjoyed the complimentary bottle of wine. Finally, a couple of minor issues popped up during our stay and Chad, one of the co-owners, was easily reached, pleasant to communicate with and resolved the issues immediately or in a timely manner.

Perfect Spot for our large family

This home was exactly what we needed for our trip to Blaine, MN for our daughter's wedding. Big enough to house all of her siblings and guests, including our bride the night before her big day. Everyone loved the fact that there was plenty of space in the home so that we didn't all have to be together all the time. Theater room with Wii and Xbox along with board games. Plenty of places to sit down and eat and at the end of the day really comfy beds to relax in. The hosts are very communicative and quick to respond to any questions you have.

The main reason I chose this neighborhood is because it's so close to the National Sports Center where we receive most of our business at Knudson Rentals.

Also, this property doesn't disappoint when it comes to space! On the main level there is the kitchen, dining room, and living room with walkout to the deck/gazebo/hot tub. 1 floor up you will find 3 bedrooms, one is the master, and one has office space with a second monitor. There are 2 bathrooms on this level and one includes a jacuzzi tub. Moving down to mid-level, we have another living room with a large TV, bar, and foosball. There's also a bedroom, laundry, and bath on this level. Moving to the lower level, we have the 150" theater, and another bedroom.
