Welcome to the Beach! Our townhome is located in the gated Bahia de Matagorda community, just 7 miles from the town of Matagorda, TX. Enjoy the community pool, catch & release fishing and crabbing in the lagoon, or take a stroll over the Dunes and you’ll be on the beach!

This home is 1300 sq. ft and sleeps 8 comfortably. There are two bedrooms downstairs, one with king size bed and one with a queen size bed. The downstairs bathroom has a gorgeous walk in shower. The living area is comfortable with Dish satellite channels on a roku Hisense smart TV for streaming services. WiFi is available. The king bedroom and loft bedroom have smart TVs for use with Netflix/prime/Hulu and other streaming services. Check out the white cabinet in the living room for tons of options for family game night. Grab a book from one of the bedrooms and relax on the deck. The kitchen is well appointed with all the dishes, flatware, and cookware you will need. Microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator/freezer, and dishwasher are all available for your use. Dining area has seating for 6 and the eat-in bar accommodates 3. Upstairs you will find a loft bedroom with two twin beds and a full size bed, as well as another full bathroom with a tub/shower combo. Check out the amazing unobstructed ocean views from the loft balcony or the large deck. A charcoal grill is provided and may only be used on the ground level.

All renters must be at least 25 years old. No smoking or vaping in or outside the house or in any of the community areas. Coin laundry and ice machine are located on the pool island. No pets. No events.

We stay one weekend each year in Matagorda. This is the best one we have stayed in. The condo is beautifully renovated.

Perfect Stay in Matagorda!

#46 is our new favorite stay in Matagorda. Beautifully updated, immaculate, outfitted with everything you could need! The view is the best. We loved sitting on the deck and listening to the ocean - sooo soothing. The host, Lynsey, was lovely. Great communication and so welcoming. We are looking forward to our next visit!

Fun in Matagorda

Our stay at this condo was amazing. The layout is perfect and the owner has thought of everything. Our family had a great time staying at this wonderful property in Matagorda. This was our second stay and we will be booking again.

Great location at the beach

We loved our stay at this Matagorda beach condo. We picked the area because we liked that it was more of a remote beach that was not over commercialized. We were there in March and pretty much had the beach to ourselves. This condo is beachfront with great views and also very close to the walking path to the beach. The owners gave us a recommendation for a fishing charter and also responded quickly when I had a question. I would highly recommend this condo for a relaxing stay at the beach.

My 60th Birthday

The location was perfect. The condo was nice and comfortable. There was a large dog roming the property. The owner saw the dog with my granddaughter on the doorbell can and she told us to vacate immediately. It wasn't our dog and after an hour it was resolved but it definitely put a damper on our stay to be falsely accused that way.

Updated Dune Condo

This place is more up to date than other condos in this little neighborhood. It’s about as close as you can get to the beach here. The back of home faces the dunes and ocean so you have unobstructed views. It’s a nice place to stay. Love that you have access to the pool.

Great stay as usual. The ice machine at the pool needs to be replaced. Been going to Matagorda Dunes for over 25 years. Was always so convenient to have ice available!!!

We had a great spring break stay. Short walk from the beach.

Great beach house. Short walk from the beach. Clean and has the essentials. Only thing lacking would be on outdoor shower. We used the laundry mat and it worked great. It is a little bit out from major grocery stores so you might want to do your shopping on the way in if you want to cook. Overall good experience.

Relaxing beautiful place

The home, pool and location was great. We enjoyed time away without the congestion of the larger cities. The only problem was the mosquitoes on the way to the beach. They were vicious and it was hard to get to the beach without driving. You can drive on the beach with a permit but without 4 wheel drive you cannot go too far!

Came for a wedding

Had a problem with the AC the final night, got back to the condo between 9-10 pm was 83 degrees inside the condo, luckily we brought fans but by morning it had only cooled to 80. We did not call the host as we left early in the morning. Other than that the condo was as advertised.

Grandsons 5th grade graduation trip

Our contact, Lynsey, was exceptional! We really appreciate her quick and great thorough response to all of our questions. Our condo was a good choice for us for our short visit. A/C could have been a bit cooler. One complaint is that the bed sheets & cover, in the queen room, smelled a bit. Matagorda fishing and beaches are awesome. Two thumbs up from my grandson and his friend.
