Our child was having scoliosis back surgery at Shiners Hospital. Location is near the hospital and it was a very relaxing experience for us during a special time.
The location is wonderful, the house is well-appointed with kitchen supplies, soaps, laundry, etc. and the remodeled baths are very well done. I do have a couple of suggestions. Flannel sheets in the downstairs bedroom are not the best for June rentals. Also, the upstairs bedroom could use room-darkening shades for the summer months.
Location was very close to our daughter. House was clean, spacious and well stocked. The bed was very comfortable as were the linens and towels. We would stay at this house again.
It was gorgeous and relaxing to sit in the garden listening to the birds and looking up into the canopy whether enjoying shade in the middle of the day or watching the stars
Truly enjoyed this place. Great location, clean, and comfortable. The driveway and parking has a little learning curve, but once you figure it out, it works. A walk through the park literally starts when you walk out the back door. Will stay here again, for sure.
The house sits literally adjacent to and is part of a park. Sitting on the patio drinking coffee was wonderful. The bedrooms are comfortable and the house was perfect for our visit to Spokane.
Our stay was wonderful. We were in town for our daughterâs graduation from Gonzaga University and loved the serenity of the property. It was nice to be able to relax in peace after some long days. Would love to stay in the winter months when there is some snow! Weâll be back!
It was an absolutely beautiful location and the house itself was amazing. A cozy cottage that had every imaginable resource. We couldn't have asked for more! And the lake right out the front door beckoned us every day for a long leisurely walk. Thank you!
We were in town to visit our Daughter out at Fairchild AFB. The location couldn't have been any more perfect - close to downtown for dinners, 15 min to Fairchild, and a perfect setting next to a tree lined park for walks with our small dog. The home had everything we needed, was quiet, and very comfortable. We'll be back!
The host did not reply promptly, often taking 4 or more hours.
Our most serious concern was black mold on the tile grout in the bottom â of the downstairs bathroom shower. Otherwise the property was clean. No cutting boards in the kitchen.
Great location, very cozy and comfy cottage. Very comfortable for 4 adults. Kitchen was very well stocked with dishes, cooking utensils and basic grocery supplies. Communication with manager was great. Very responsive.
Beautiful cozy home, tastefully decorated, comfy beds with fine linens. Manito park is just 2 minutes away. Upscale neighborhood. Driveway very tight for a midsize suv, but manageable and worth the location of this home. Just my daughter and I stayed for a visit with my granddaughter who goes to Gonzaga University. We each had our own bedroom which was nice for both of us..
The property is spacious for a two bedroom two bathroom home. The kitchen has a beautiful window into the yard. Everything was clean. The beds and bedding were very comfortable. The house is in a very nice area of Spokane, close to downtown. The driveway is a pretty tight fit. The fireplaces were not working. That was one of the main features of interest for renting the location. We reached out about it and were asked to use the main house furnace for heat. We are all sensitive to perfumes. We were alright staying in the property with all of the scented plug-ins unplugged. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.
I stayed for almost a week while working in Spokane. The house was perfect- very clean, comfortable, and in a great downtown location. The outside was beautiful and great to relax in after a long day. The house has everything you need to enjoy your stay from toiletries, extra fans, and great WiFi. I would love to stay again if Iâm back in the area!
We LOVED our stay at Briar Rose. The house is beautiful and very comfortable. It had all the amenities we were looking for. Property Manager Kyler was very responsive and assisted us well when needed. The best feature of the house is the park adjacent to it, plus it is on walking distance to shops, downtown, and the gorgeous Manito Park. Highly recommended!
What an incredible location! Walk out the door to be in a beautiful little park w/ small playground, gorgeous grounds for playing ball w/ the kids or walking the dog. It was so peaceful. Also only 7 minutes to downtown to check out the riverwalk and all that's there or grab bites out. Def check out "scoops" ice cream in the neighborhood if you're there with kids.
Not fragrance free, & why glade air freshener in fridge
I have allergies & asked if cleaning was done with fragrance free products and told Yes. The linens all smelled of dryer sheets, there was a glade solid air freshener in the refrigerator, scented soaps, etc.
This properties previous owner worked for the World Health Organization and traveled all around the world. She made it a point to purchase a plant or small tree start from every place she visited and planted it on her property on south Lincoln. She cared for all these plants during the next ten years along with upgrading and remodeling much of the house, particularly the bathrooms and kitchen. In 2016 sisters Patty Ediger and Rachel Phillipps were looking for a place to purchase together for shared vacations and work parties. The Phillipps living in California and the Edigers in Washington made this idea plausible. The day we walked onto the property we fell in love and knew we had found our place. The Phillipps flew up to look at the place along with a dozen other places that our realtor had picked out. There were better houses, bigger houses but no place like this. We knew Donna would have a hard time giving the place up so we made every effort to thank her for all the work she had done on the place and wanted to keep her vision alive. After renting it out for 4 years and spending numerous evenings and dinners out on the patios we came to the conclusion that we wanted to share this beautiful place with as many people as possible. And we look forward to more connections with family and friends as we share the retreat in the middle of the city.
This property is special because of its woodsy charm located in one of the most popular areas of Spokane. It is close to great shopping, food, and parks. Just down the South hill and your into downtown.
