This was our first time using Vrbo and the process was easy. Everything was as described in the add and the view was great. The location was close to everything you needed and Josh responded quickly to my questions. We will definitely stay there again.
Would have like the bar to be open had a day or so of bad weather. The place seems to be coming back, Room was excellent and so was the owners communication. Wish I could have booked it for biketoberfest.
Another wonderful stay at Josh’s Daytona Beach Resort There’s something for everyone. Ocean view, time on the balcony, pool, hot tub, beach, ocean. Quiet part of town but not far from restaurants and attractions. We would go again for sure!! Get the Lockly app for the door. It’s so easy. Internet and TV were great! Josh was great. No problems.
Oh thank you so much Clarissa that was very kind of you to say! It was a pleasure hosting you and we hope to see you back sometime soon. Cheers, Joshua.
Had a great stay with my kids. Josh was the best he answered all my questions right away. Would stay there again. Hopefully they will have the pools up and working again by the next time I go there
I have rented many VRBO’s in the past and I have to say that this owner is the absolute best! Great communication wonderful property you will not regret staying here!
Everything was as described. It was clean and close to the racetrack. The price was good for being right on the ocean The only hiccup was the parking. It was known the parking garage was being renovated. When I asked if there was parking, I was told we have a parking pass for the lot on the south end of the resort. There was no mention of the possibility of having to park elsewhere. When arriving Friday night, we learned the lot was full and we would have to park behind the Walgreens store across the street and down aways. It is not lit very well and not very convenient. That would be the only negative about the stay.
Our room was perfect. It was nice and clean. The property itself was in bad need of cleaning and repair. The reason for three stars is because of the property. The room was 5 stars.
Great place to enjoy the ocean from sunrise to watching the tide come in at night. Unit has all needed amenities. Bath towels were super soft! Joshua was super helpful and even the front desk staff was welcoming and helpful We did not want to leave and hope to get back there again!
Pleasant stay, neat and clean, room supplied as described, sorry for the owners that the pool situation isn’t repaired yet, Joshua was very helpful. Thank you for a lovely week.
The condo was as expected very nice. The property was in bad shape. Parking, facilities, structure all very dated and storm damage from last year still un touched.Would not recommend until repairs to property are completed
Hi sir, our apologies for any inconvenience during your stay! We are aware of the sun hitting the keypad screen at a certain time of day. That’s why we provide a link to download the smart lock, Lockly app so that you can unlock the door using your phone. We also have a video doorbell so if you have an issue with anything you could hit the video doorbell and get someone to help you.
Due to the hurricane and tropical storm in Nov of 2022 the pools were not open and trying to get down to the beach was not accessible handy for handicap people. The parking was a chore as well.
This guest was unhappy with the lack of extra amenities being closed which is the case for most of the oceanfront hotels in the area. We happily worked with them and offered a refund for the nights they did not use. We feel this low rating is unfair as their issues were with the property and not the unit, which we take pride in keeping clean and updated! Also we have handicap parking close to the building and are one of the few hotels that have handicap access to the beach with a ramp and outdoor showers on the north side of the hotel.
We stayed here for a quick overnight trip and it worked well for us. The room is large and the kitchen is an added plus. The ocean views are great. The room was a bit dated and could use updating but it was clean and well maintained. There is some damage to the resort from last year's hurricane and the parking garage is not open - having to take the trash out to the closed parking garage is not ideal. We got locked into the garage trying to exit after dropping off the trash and that was a bit of a hassle. Overall it was a good stay!
Condo was beautiful, clean and description of room was accurate as far as amenities went as was very deciving there was no pool or hot tub to use inside or out as well as no restaurant in house that was the least of our concerns many nights we had to find parking a. Distance from condo I only had one car when I asked security for help they said come back next week this was unacceptable
Hi Judith, thanks for your feedback. Certainly bike week in Daytona Beach can be a crazy time especially with parking and I apologize about your experience with the security guard. We have both parking garage and the pool facilities under construction and they should be all set to go with more capacity for next season. Just want to remind you that when you did book 6 months prior, we let you know that those facilities were under construction although I can understand the frustration. Thank you for your feedback and happy to reach out to you when things are back to normal with the outdoor facilities. Cheers.
Me and my friend always take our children on a yearly beach trip together. We chose this location becuase it was large enough, location was good, it had several options for pools and easy access to the beach.
The owner of the property was great upon check in. He even let us check in 3 hours early after we got stormed out of the beach. The view from our room was a construction site but that’s okay. We found out not long after being there that there was another in ground pool that was working. The indoor pool was too heavily chlorinated so we couldn’t stay in there longer than like 15 minutes at a time.
The walk to the beach wasn’t as easy as advertised. It was a good 5 min walk or longer and take your pool card because you won’t get in and out the gate without it. Our cards quick working and apparently so did a lot of others. Eventually we had to prop open the gate when coming back and forth.
The room itself was clean for the most part. The bathroom drain was clogged when we got there and never fixed. The light in the bathroom also never worked.
All in all minor issues nothing too serious.
It was a great place to stay. Publix is right across the street. There were two big pools and a baby pool. The room was plenty big for the two of us. Bed was super comfortable. No washer/dryer in the room but was on the same floor. The property manager was great to work with. He got right back to me when I had questions. We will definitely stay here again.
