Fit 3 people very comfortably, AC worked perfectly, the hot tub is so much fun, full kitchen and everything worked! Only thing is a thin wall with the apartment
After my long day on the road, it was such a relief to enter this calm home in such a quiet neighborhood! My trip was to visit my daughter after her move to Grants Pass and explore town - we enjoyed ending our days in the hot tub! I was thrilled at how easy it was to get downtown, or go out to main roads to her home. I really felt âaway from it allâ, but I could get anywhere easily. Although I cooked only once, the kitchen was well equipped for home meals. I will be suggesting this home to my daughterâs MIL for her trips!
Super cute little place! The only reason they didnt get a full 5 stars is because the washer and dryer weren't working and there was no extra toilet paper or papertowels. Overall we really enjoyed our stay, everything was really nice inside and out! We were in town for a softball tournament and the games were a little later on sunday then we thought, so I asked if we could checkout a little later and they let us. We really appreciated that, it made it a lot easier to come back after the games and pickup our stuff then have to do it then. And then my daughter was also able to get cleaned up and changed after her games. Thank you!
Avoid this rental if you value peace of mind and responsive hosting. Essential amenities we expected were absent.Around 10:45 PM, an intruder entered our unit using a flashlight while we slept. Disoriented, we confronted them; they mumbled about a booking and left. We immediately messaged the host via VRBO for reassurance but received no reply, even after a second message 10 minutes later. Our dread grew, and sleep was impossible.Nine hours later, we informed the host we were leaving. A call and message followed, stating security footage showed a guest from the adjacent duplex entered our unit without a code, implying our distress was our fault.A responsible host should ensure doors auto-lock and provide clear instructions if they don't. Our coded door lacked such warnings. Communication was limited to a message board; no emergency number was provided. The host knew we checked in, yet failed to respond promptly to an alarming intrusion.
Stayed for a night while passing through Grants Pass. House is in a great location , it was a couple minute drive to great food, and even found a farmers market when we got up in the morning. House was easy to find and felt like we were in a safe and quiet neighborhood
Clean, convenient space available from great hosts
Clean, convenient space available from great hosts. They were super accommodating and the house was cozy and had everything we needed! We would definitely stay here again if we came back to the area.
The property was very clean.
Neighborhood seemed to be quite for the most part since we stayed on the 4th of July. Would recommend this place for anyone seeking a nice time away.
Self check-in went smoothly, however, I want to make sure the host and future guests are aware of the condition of this VRBO. It wreaked of chemicals when we walked in, but the place wasnât very clean. There was dust on all surfaces (Iâm highly allergic and suffered). The kitchen could use improvements: stocked with essentials (like a wine opener), organized properly, cabinets wiped of coffee stains, fridge cleaned, dishes put away and not left in dishwasher, sink wiped clean (my partner ended up cleaning it because it looked so bad), restock spices (they were expired). The bathroom smelled of urine. We thought it might be the bath rug so we removed it and the smell subsided. The bath towels had a smell to them so we washed them before using. You could see the scum along the bathtub walls. The bed was not comfortable, I now have a kink in my neck. There were supposed to be more pillows and sheets in the closet, but the pillows all looked like couch cushions and I didnât see any extra sheets? If the host hires a cleaning crew, Iâd fire them or, at least, conduct walk-throughs until all issues have been addressed. We almost went to a hotel but everything was taken and we didnât want to go through the hassle since we were only there for 2 nights. We decided to just suck it up. The place would benefit from a bit of effort.
I stayed with my two kids and in the add it states its a single home. This is a house split into two with the wall shared being the bedrooms. The welcome email tells you to keep it down. At 1130 i woke up to a headboard, loud music, and f bombs. It did not stop until 230. The blinds all had huge missing pieces so my family was on display. I did not feel safe or have privacy!!!!!
Clean, quiet and welcoming property. Didn't realize it had an attachment next door with other guests but they were quiet as well so that was no problem. I'm impressed with all the amenities offered from spices in the kitchen to a k cup machine with creamer packets included and k cups so you don't have to bring your own. The yard was very nice with the hot tub and fire pit although it was almost impossible to light. I heard the neighbors having trouble as well. So that's one small thing and the floors didn't seem to have been cleaned because right out of the shower my feet were already dirty. Overall though the area and place are quiet and just right for one or 2 adults to stay and enjoy a romantic weekend.
Overall like an average hotel but better. Great bbq and gas firepit. Convenient hot tub but chemicals seemed off and not sparkly water - worst part was no steps and a danger for a short senior to get in/out. Noticed the other side of duplex had stairs on theirs. It could use a privacy wall next to it, as the fence along the street was too short and lots of people walk by gawking at you in the tub.
Loved the fenced yard for our little dogs- it made it convenient to let them out and we loved being able to bring them. ButâŠthe fence separating the other duplex is short and the people staying there had a big dog that jumped, and we almost had a disaster. Maybe a taller chain link separating and along the street to be more secure.
Bed was horrid. We donât like foam beds you cannot move around on and it was a back killer. The bedroom fan was unusable, as it scraped something loudly.
Overall we really did enjoy our stay, it could just use a few small improvements like more than one wine glass and some bbq tongs or fork. We will rent the other side next time, for hot tub steps and more privacy. Oh, and the air freshener inside the door that was turned up all the way, about knocked us over and we had to open all the windows for a while after we unplugged it. Again, just some small things could make it more than average and a great price.

Sisters retreat
Quiet and clean. Not near downtown. Some Los representative in begging. Said no dogs. The book register had most people brought 1-3 dogs. The place didnât smell. It was rented as a single home. It was a duplex. Rented the other side to a family with an infant.
Regardless we had a wonderful two nights.
Probably would not rent it again.
