Head to the Gulf Coast and vacation in style at Delayed Gratification. Nestled in Highland Park, this vacation home on Scenic 30A is sure to please everyone in your group. Four bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms are spread out over two stories, making it the perfect size for 12 guests.

On the first floor, you’ll find the living room, kitchen and dining area, and primary suite. The primary suite features smooth hardwood floors, a flat-screen TV, and a walk-in shower in the bathroom. In the kitchen, cooking has never been more fun, with stylish granite countertops and state-of-the-art stainless-steel appliances. Prepare a fresh smoothie for the morning with plenty of ice from the standalone icemaker in the kitchen. Wow your guests with your mixology skills at the wet bar. Then, head up to the second floor to find the remaining bedrooms and bathrooms. The second and fourth bedrooms come equipped with flat-screen TVs.

When you aren’t up to cooking indoors, gather everyone around outside for a barbecue with the private gas grill. An outdoor shower makes rinsing off our famous sand a cinch! Wonderful house - great neighborhood -rent a golf cart!

This is a great property located adjact to the state forest. Most important thing to know is plan on renting a golf cart for the week as this property is at rear of development and is downhill (yes I know - this is the only large hill in area at least 150 foot elevation). You cannot park your car near pool,only a golf cart. To access the beaches a golf cart is also an easier option due to limited parking at the public beaches of course the bikes work well but don't forget the Hill. The house is clean, nearly new, is great for large families like ours! If we had a cart this would have 5 stars.

Family Vacation

We had a great time at this house! Plenty of room, comfortable beds and couches. We were prepared and brought our own paper products (extra paper towels and tp) and kitchen essentials (foil, dishwashing liquid, ziploc bags, extra kitchen garbage bags). My only disappointment was that it didn’t appear there was any parking (for cars or golf carts) at the pool. We had elderly parents with us and it was too far for them to walk there, so we didn’t ever use the beautiful pool and hot tub area. I wish the neighborhood description would have included that important fact. And, it would be helpful if there were 2-3 kitchen towels instead of just one.

Decent place in a good community

This was our third year staying in the Highland Park community for fall break week, first time in this house. The location and community pool keep bringing us back. This house fell in line with our expectations around size, amenities etc. Unfortunately a poor first impression was made the first night at the house--after a long day's drive we discovered around 9pm that the water heater didn't work, so only icy cold showers. Rental management office answered call that night, were able to get a plumber out the next morning. Pros: -Location (right next to trails, close to beach, restaurants), community -Rental bikes included -Great ice maker -They were responsive in getting us extra coverlets & dish towels (only 1 at the house!). Plenty of pillows in closet (but not pillow cases). Cons: -Water heater snafu. Ended up working out eventually but it really soured our first day--an offer of compensation (or even an apology from someone other than the poor kid who has to answer phones late on Saturday) would have helped, but I'll be reluctant to rent from this management company again. -Although contact surfaces (basically anything you would touch like counters, coffee tables, kitchen, bathroom sinks, floors) were clean, the walls & baseboards were really dirty, dust caked on in some areas like tops of wallplates, ceiling fans, etc. There is a rather high cleaning fee on this place so I'd expect it should get deep cleaned at least a few times a season. -it appeared as though the house was power washed just before we arrived (covered porches etc were wet) which is great & all but that likely tripped the GFCI on the water heater (which is what the problem was), & a cigarette butt was left on the front porch. Stuff like that shouldn't happen, and Southern Vacation Rentals needs to make sure that it doesn't.

All good however disappointed with lack of availabilty for amenities like toilet paper and garbage bags. We were informed of this but as a rental service first thing I as an owner of a rental property would want to insure the renters kept the property clean and first step should be providing adequate garbage bags for the stay.
