All was in order and as presented in the property description. We thoroughly enjoyed the isolation from city noise and lights. I had forgotten how beautiful the night sky is.

This property is such a gem! The views, the setup, the location, everything was great! The property is very clean. You are only a few minutes from town. There was an amazing private trail to your own 360 view of the mountains equipped with a bbq pit and table if you choose to grill up there. We had coffee and watched the sun rise each morning at the top. The walk up is not challenging at all. We did see a rattlesnake in the early morning on our walk, but the hosts do warn you of this and it is just a reminder to watch where you step. The beds were comfortable, water pressure was great, it had all the utensils we needed for grilling. There really wasn’t anything missing that we needed to complete our stay. Overall we had a great time and we will definitely be back!

Staying at the Stargazer Retro was exceptional! The hosts bent over backwards to ensure our stay went beyond expectations, the location could not have been better for stargazing and convenience, the patio was exceptional (the outdoor kitchen was perfect) and sleeping in an airstream was something we had never done before -- it was GREAT!

We loved this place! The Airstream was very well laid out and comfortable and the deck was better than fabulous. The only thing better than the deck was the view from the deck and at night the beautiful sky full of stars.

Staying at the StarGazer was amazing! The property was clean and well stocked. We loved sitting on the deck to stargaze and enjoy the view of the national park. We would definitely stay here again!

Awesome Place!

Perfect accomadations. Views were awesome and the place had everything we needed and more. Great home base for hiking and biking in both the National and State Parks.

Nice place to relax

We enjoyed the clean and updated rental, especially the outdoor deck and kitchen. It is close to Big Bend NP yet isolated enough for quiet privacy. Great responsive hosts. Would definitely stay there again.

Breathtaking location

We absolutely loved the Stargazer! Quiet, comfortable, clean, with stunning views, this place is wonderful and not far from local restaurants, groceries, and fuel.

Really lovely

This is a real gem. It offers natural aesthetic beauty, right next to Big Bend NP. Having an EV charger makes travel in the vast distances in the region in an EV work really well. The spaces are well-designed and comfortable to stay in.

Gorgeous views

This is our first time to Big Bend and we were amazed by the beauty of the area. We were equally amazed at the beauty of the Big Bend Stargazer property. The airstream is well equipped and the beds were quite comfy. We absolutely loved the outside deck, bath house and kitchen and spent most of our time on the deck taking in the views and stargazing. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful property.

Peaceful and great view

Beds were comfy and the bathroom was beautiful. The star of the show is the outdoor kitchen and lounging area. We cooked all our meals and it was so relaxing. There are several restaurants close by but we enjoyed our space so ate in. It is pricey for two people but we felt it was worth the splurge.

Big Bend Experience!!

Extremely well done for an RV camp!! Oh that star lit night sky was breath taking!! My daughter & I could have stayed there a week. She only had a 4 day weekend that had to be cut short due to the weather. If the opportunity ever comes around for another excursion to Big Bend we’ll check to see if the Star Gazer is available. Awesome place!!!

Star gazer

Awesome, private, secluded, close to both big bend national park and big bend ranch state park. Would defintely do it again. Only thing to change is the double twin xl's to a queen or king. Beds were comfortable but would rather have one bed. Loved terlingua and surrounding beauty.

Outdoor living at it's best !

Air condition sleeping, the rest was nice outdoor living with perfect views!! Although there was a nice shower inside we decided to try the outside shower and never looked back. Well thought out clean and a lot of fun. Thanks!!!

If your looking to get away from it all - and everyone - and you wished to visit Terlingua, Big Bend , the Chihuahuan desert, Lajitas, and Presido…. This is the spot. I had looked at 3-5 other spots. I saw those places on this trip. Research pays off. The Stargazer is off to itself. Quiet. Peaceful solitude. The views and sunrise/sunsets are second to none . Excellent hosts. Felt very taken care of.
