Welcome to Sandy Key #223, a two-bedroom, two-bathroom gulf-front condo in Perdido Key, Florida, where the soothing rhythm of the waves and sweeping gulf views instantly set the tone for relaxation. Sleeping up to six guests, this snowbird-friendly coastal retreat is a hidden slice of paradise tucked between Pensacola Beach and Orange Beach—offering warm Florida sunshine, sugar-white sand and an ideal balance of tranquility and convenience.

The main living space is open and welcoming, combining the living area, dining area and kitchen into one bright, airy gathering place. The living area features comfortable seating, including a queen sleeper sofa, a TV and a large sliding glass door that fills the space with natural light and leads directly to the private gulf-front balcony. Step outside to enjoy outdoor dining and uninterrupted views of the emerald waters—perfect for slow mornings and sunset dinners.

Adjacent to the living area, the dining table comfortably seats six, while the upgraded kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare home-cooked meals or beach-day snacks. Granite countertops and bar seating for four make the kitchen both functional and stylish.

Sandy Key #223 offers two well-appointed bedrooms designed for comfort. The primary bedroom features a king bed, TV, private access to the balcony through a sliding glass door and an ensuite bathroom with a shower/tub combination. The second bedroom includes two queen beds, a TV and easy access to the adjacent hallway bathroom, also with a shower/tub combo. Bed and bath linens are included for your convenience, and the unit also features a laundry closet with a washer and dryer and WiFi.

Beyond the condo, Sandy Key’s amenities invite you to enjoy every moment—from the beachfront pool and fitness center to tennis courts and an easy walkover to the beach. When you’re ready to explore, Perdido Key’s laid-back charm, local dining and scenic state parks await.

2nd time in Perdido. Really liked the location close to Gulf Shores and Pensacola. Nice private beach and great local restaurants . We will be back.

Great Easter beach getaway

Really enjoyed our stay at this property. We have stayed at many locations up and down the gulf and I must say this was our favorite. The beds were comfortable, the air got cold, fully stocked kitchen which was great for cooking meals. Large family and dining area, great water pressure!!! Felt like home! We would really like to return to this property again soon!!!

I loved that it was a little out of the way and quiet. The beach was beautiful. Amenities great.

The condo was lovely. Well represented beach life. We were right above the pool but it was never noisy. Separated bedrooms was nice.

Lovely Space at a Beautiful Beach Spot

The property is simply decorated in a classy style. Everything was clean, and everything was functioning properly. I recommend the owner to spend a couple of days there, and then purchase some of the necessary things that will make it an outstanding property and excellent experience for those who stay there.

This property was very nice and accurate to description. Personally the only thing I didnt care for, was being that close to the swimming pool, but I knew it was close before we got it. Everything else was nice. Very clean.

Great condo.

We had a great week here. Only one complaint- there was a dirty plate in the dishwasher when arriving and a lot of the dishes were dirty in the cabinet. Was not a big deal to me but could be to someone else. Everything was nice. Tons of towels and wash cloths! Always a plus. Also we enjoyed being on the 2nd floor. Very convenient to the stairs and did not have to take the elevator! Definitely will be back :)

The property was great, very clean and convenient. Customer service was horrible, listing did not say keys were off site, went to the site and the keys were not in the lockbox as told they would be, no one available since it was a holiday. Fortunately, someone to clean showed up and they were able to get the keys for us. If you’re going to rent properties, someone needs to be on duty at least 16 hours daily, including weekends, to handle customer problems!

Loved the location but the condo can use some things fixed.

Both bathrooms showers didn’t drain. So you were taking a shower in ankle deep water. The master bathroom toilet didn’t flush unless you held the handle down. The toilet seat was broken, wrong size and wrong color. It didn’t match.

Great beach

We loved the Sandy Key condos. Easy access to the beach, restaurants, the beach was great and not over crowded. However, room was not in the best shape. Master mattress could be replaced, condo had an odd smell, areas not clean. It’s a bit dated, especially for the price. Beware of the check-in process. Sandy Key employee said they’ve asked rental agency to make to the check-in instructions clearer. You have to go to SVR to get your keys, then you have to get your parking pass and wristbands from Sandy Key. We arrived on Saturday and both SVR and Sandy Key offices were closed. There were three different families who rented from SVR standing around trying to figure out how to get into our rooms. Sandy Key complex itself is great; however, I personally wouldn’t rent another unit if Southern Vacation Rentals is in charge of the booking.

Nightmare check in experience

The property management company did not have our packet ready for pick up. We were at the office at 4:50 pm. No packet was ready in the office or lock box. The lady had told me to call a phone number which I went outside and did. Turned around to go in and ask her another question and the door was locked.. So an employee was Southern was not worried about us getting our key to our condo. After 4 and a 1/2 hours, an experience with local law and multiple calls to their after hours # we got our key. After reading the guest book in the condo there were multiple guest who had had trouble checking in with Southern.

Great location, very clean

This whole building is kept very clean, the walkways and pool are cleaned regularly. The unit itself was clean, but could use a little update (i.e new switch plates) The ONLY complaint about the unit is lack of counter space and lighting in the bathrooms, but the master bedroom does have a small vanity. The hot tub was broken and I overheard someone say that it’s always broken, but it did look like it was being worked on. The location is amazing. It’s one of the last buildings next to a long stretch of beach that is closed to development so it’s beautiful and you can watch the sunrise without your view being cluttered with high rises. The check in process was very confusing and there is a guest book in the unit that is full of complaints about the check in process. I highly recommend the owners go read their guestbook.

Condo is exactly as pictured. Felt safe and secure at this location. The gated parking lot was very nice with ample parking available. The beach was a bit over crowded but we were able to walk a very short distance to find a less populated area. Check in was easy, just wish we would have been informed we had access to the KEYS earlier, as a code isn’t needed for check in. Would recommend to friends and family.

Everything was just as described in the listing. The location was perfect for our stay. Wasn't wanting somewhere crowded or heavily congested and this was a great place to just relax and spend time together. Overall great stay
