Located in the historic, up and coming Franklin Park neighborhood. Take a lovely 8-minute stroll to the Franklin Park & Conservatory and the new Trolley District coming this July. Less than 1 mile from the Ohio to Erie bike trail, a 326 mile statewide multi-purpose trail. Only 2.4 miles from Downtown and 5.6 miles to OSU. Security cameras monitor the exterior of the property.

Perfect for a Friends Retreat

This was a cute, cozy place for us to make our home base for the weekend. The Netflix being setup was a unexpected perk, we had everything we need to eat in or out and plenty of space! Street parking was easy. Everything we wanted to do was a short drive away.

We came to Columbus for Sonic Temple festival. The area seems like it is doing a good job of reinventing itself. It was close to the freeway. The trolley market was really nice.

10/10 place! The space was just as advertised and very clean! Great location to everything we needed to access. Check in/out was very clear and easy. The unit had everything we needed & the hosts were available if any questions arose. Will stay again for my next trip to Columbus!

Cozy and convenient

We came up for a wedding during a really busy weekend (there was a home game). This was really convenient to the airport, downtown, and the wedding venue. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. We had everything we needed, there for us. Thanks for a great stay!

Franklin House

A great little place perfect for my family of 2 adults, 2 kids. I didn't see it mentioned in the listing that this is the second floor unit and the stairs are steep to get up there. Nicely located close to the highway and a quick drive to several fun spots.

The property was just as pictured. The bedrooms were good size for a weekend. Although we did not use the kitchen, it was organized and clean.The hosts were very responsive to the concerns we had with entering the property and communicating with them during our stay. One problem we had with the property was that we found the floor under the carpet and floor slabs was very unstable, quite a few "dips" as you walked throughout the house. Possible "trip hazards" if not sure-footed. Also since we stayed in the upper residence, 3 exterior doors could have an additional "interior" latch lock for guests' sense of safety/protection. The location was perfect, 8- 12 minutes from many delicious eateries, and the neighborhood was quiet at night.

Just what we needed!

This quaint 2nd floor 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom duplex had everything we needed for a weekend visit. Free on-street parking, just a 12 minute drive to the Arena district and 10 minutes to the German Village. A Kroger is just a few minute drive away to stock up on food/snacks for your stay. Owners were responsive and answered questions quickly. The check-in / check-out process was a piece of cake. The code for the electronic deadbolt was sent the morning of arrival, and we were only asked to wash any dishes we used and carry out the trash before leaving. The home was clean, the two queen beds were very comfortable, and being able to keep up with streamed shows on the Roku TV's was a pleasant bonus! If you have difficulty climbing stairs, this wouldn't be a good fit for you, as the stairway access is on the steep side. The fold out couch in the living room, while functional, should probably be reserved for kids and adults that can sleep on anything. I would highly recommend this property, and will definitely stay again the bevy time in attending an event in Columbus.

Just as advertised!

Very nicely done vrbo. Has everything you need. We stayed for the weekend to catch an OSU football game. Everyone was very happy. The place is setup really well. Clean, cozy, cute and secure. We'll definitely stay again.

Pros/cons

Pros: - Owner was very responsive when finding out information on the place - Snacks were placed out and there were plenty of dishes if you wanted to cook - There was a tv in the living room and in one bedroom preloaded with a Netflix and Hulu account Cons: -Neighbors leave lights on all night and there are no curtains to block it out -Owner insisted the baby gate parts were in their closet but were not and the stairs are steep -house was so hot it was unbearable and it took until the next morning to be cool -beds are so uncomfortable that getting rest is barely attainable

We apologize for the confusion over the location of the baby gate. It was in the closet but it should have been left out and easier for you to find all the parts. Given your feedback, we have recently added blackout curtains in addition to the blinds that were already installed, as well as check the AC to make sure it is running smoothly. This place and it’s hosts were wonderful.

My family took a long weekend in Columbus and stayed at this property. I have never used Vrbo or anything like it so I had a lot of questions and the owners were so wonderful about answering all my questions. The property itself was exactly like it was advertised. My kids loved it. We were able to sit on the balcony and watch a wonderful fireworks display. I can’t praise this property or it’s owners enough. We will definitely stay again when we go back to Columbus in 2022.

Great place to be with family!

Our experience here was great. The house was exactly how the listing showed. The whole house made my husband and our children feel at home. It was neat, clean and it had everything we needed. Our communication with Ketevan was great. She was attentive and responded very quickly to every text. Ketevan you were an excellent host!! Thank you! The neighborhood was ok, it was very quiet and we found parking on the street every time we return, but different. This was my first time in Ohio, so many things were new. Now, in terms of location it is very convenient. It is near the downtown of Columbus, and the beautiful COSI park. The property is very close to major highways we loved it.

This newly updated 2nd floor residence is part of a duplex property with a shared backyard. When you arrive, you will be greeted with easy street parking, a smooth self check-in process, and high-speed WiFi. The home includes a wonderful balcony with seating, a spacious living room and separate dining room, along with a fully-stocked kitchen with stainless steel appliances. Both bedrooms offer queen-size beds, while one of them provides you with a desk for your workspace needs. A sofa bed is offered in living room if needed. Your own private washer/dryer is provided in the basement as well, which does require walking two flights of stairs.
