Lake front walk-out cabin, private driveway and entrance. The cabin is partially attached to our home by a locked stairway to our home upstairs. Fully private, no shared spaces. The main room has a full kitchen, with stove, refrigerator/freezer, microwave , dishwasher and ice maker. And the living room has a gas log burning stove with a sliding glass door to your private patio. Laundry room with stackable washer/dryer unit. Bathroom with vanity and new large shower. 3 bedrooms, 1 with king bed and sliding glass door access to patio and lake and 1 with queen bed and window facing patio and lake. The 3rd bedroom has a twin bed. The patio has a fire pit, charcoal grill, table & chairs and picnic table. About 8 big steps to the dock and lake. Free use of a canoe and row boat. We also have a pontoon available for fishing and swimming off of or tow everyone around the lake on one of our giant tubes. Also if you prefer bring your own boat to enjoy the lake or fish from the dock. Across the road is our horse barn and pasture. We have a horse that love petting and treats and Stella and Frankie a couple of fainting goats (that donât faint). We have a large yard by the barn where we can set up volleyball, horseshoes or other games for you or just extra parking. We also have many beautiful trails near our property to walk. The county has many trails you can easily get to with your 4 wheeler. Rent canoes and go down the St Croix river from Danbury.
Lake house is beautifully decorated & clean! The beds are very comfortable & it is so quiet there! Use of the pontoon to go fishing on Austin Lake is a big plus!! We had a wonderful stay!!
The property was clean and well maintained. The first two days of our stay were raining we were tracking mud into the kitchen area, sorry .We enjoyed our stay.
We rented this place for St Pattyâs weekend. The property was nice with ample parking for our trucks, trailers and atvs. The space was cozy and inviting. Hosts were accommodating and the greeters were friendly
I rented this property for my family to stay at, and host my sonâs high school grad party. My mom fell in love with the house. Everything was perfect, clean, well stocked. The view is gorgeous. There were little welcome dogs, a horse and goats. The manager was so incredible. Offered us more chairs for the party and use of their golf cart and boat. I will definitely be renting here again.
The place was very comfortable. There was a gas fireplace that made it very cozy. The kitchen was very well stocked. The yard and lake was beautiful. The host was totally accessible because she lived on a property connected to the the cabin.
Sherry was extremely friendly and accommodating. Peaceful little spot on the lake. Getting to use the pontoon was great and we had the water to ourselves. Super friendly pups, goats and horse. Very much enjoyed our stay.
Sherry is a awesome host the location is on a private lake so itâs not very busy on the water town is only 4 miles away with everything you might need my family would give it 5 stars
The space is clean and nice new kitchen. Comfy beds. So happy to bring our dog with us who had tons of fun in the lake. Sherry is a great host, loved that charcoal for the grill is provided.
We stayed with our lab. It was beautiful inside and out..we went for rest and relaxation. The fall colors were amazing and cabin was all we hoped it would be. Owners and pups are friendly andtpucame and played
We came to the area for a wedding. We enjoyed the beautiful lake, pontoon, amazing fishing and overall great views/scenery! Sherry was super kind and a great host. Definitely reccomend!
Great hospitality and pristine piece of nature near WI/MN border.
Visited during an unfortunate cold front, which made fishing unproductive, but there were schools of baitfish indicative of a nice fishing lake.
The fire pit served as a great spot for memories and conversation, and we enjoy fantastic meals with the full kitchen and available grill.
Our kids had an absolute blast playing with and feeding the horses, goats, cats and dogs. Fishing was fun, even though we didnât catch a lot of fish.
Quiet, cozy, and comfortable. Private drive and entrance e with full access to the lakeâincluding there pontoon we would e loved to use had it not rained all day. Close enough to restaurants if you want, but the kitchen is perfect if you donât. Had a lovely time.
I was born on this property many years ago. In the 1960's my parents divided the lakeshore property into lots and sold them giving me and my brothers each a lot. My brother Rod Hopkins Jr. was one of the first homes on the west shore of the lake. In 1980 we built a walkout cabin on my lot and in 1987 we built a 1 1/2 story house on the top. The rest of the 60 acre farm was split between me and my brothers. We then built a horse barn across Hopkins Road and fenced in part of our property.
