Dog Friendly Cul-de-sac Home and Treehouse, Munds Park

Looking for a dog friendly winter mountain retreat, a summer escape, or a work-from-home getaway? Our family has so many beautiful memories in this quiet cul-de-sac home. Watch the sunrise over the pines with a cup of coffee. Hike or bike in the national forest. Fish or paddle in Odell Lake. Build a snowman or sled in the snow. From here, Flagstaff is a 20 minute drive. Easy day trips to Sedona, a 45 minute drive, or the Grand Canyon, 1 3/4 hours north!

A King bed, queen bed and two twin-over-twin bunk beds sleep 8. If preferred, 2 adults can sleep on the sofa bed and extra pull out mattress. These aren't as comfy as a regular bed, but you can use them as needed. In detail, the sofa bed has a 4 inch thick spring mattress and the bed dimensions are 70 inches x 52 inches. This can sleep one adult comfortably OR two kids. The foldaway is a 3 inch thick regular foam mattress that is 4 feet x 6 feet in size; this will sleep one smaller adult OR two small kids. One infant/toddler pack'n'play available.

***We require that the person making the booking is also staying for the entire stay and at least one person in the group must be 25 years of age or older.***

If you will be having day visitors, they should be officially listed on the reservation. Our policy on the number of guests (including day visitors) is limited strictly to the 8 people listed on the reservation. The maximum number of cars permitted on the property (or parked on the street) is 3. If you cannot abide by the maximum guest and cars rule, please book another property.

You have the entire home to yourself in this dedicated vacation rental. Enjoy a large enclosed shaded deck with hanging lights. Grill on the barbecue.

A treehouse - complete with a folding table, gymnastics rings and chin up bar - will entertain the most energetic guests. There's also a sandbox with sand toys in the back yard. We also have a corn hole set.

You may sign into any of the common streaming services using your own account (Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, Disney+, etc), but be sure to sign out on checkout day! We have TV's in the master and the living room (50 inch 4K smart TV, also DVD player).

Your kitchen is fully equipped for the chef or baker, with a Keurig, Instant Pot, rice maker, professional mixer, etc. You'll find complimentary travel-size Aveda bath and body products. We also provide standard-sized shampoo and body wash.

Inside and out, there's a lot to love.

Notes:
Up to 2 dogs are allowed. Please do not allow your dog to poop in the sandbox, for the hygienic safety of our children guests. A fine of $50 will apply if we find dog poop in the sandbox.  Sorry, due to owner allergies, we cannot invite your pet cats to our home.

The home does have a window-based air conditioning unit to cool the kitchen and living room. During the hot summer, cool nights are pretty much guaranteed so bedrooms can be kept cool by opening the windows at night. Close them in the morning to keep the cool air in.

We do have an outside fire pit but usage is limited mainly to cool days from fall through spring due to high fire risk in our area. Check pinewoodfire.org to find out if outside fire is ok that day ("burn day"). During April through September most days are 'no-burn' days. Our firepit may be put in storage during the summer.

Check-in is at 4 pm. Check out is at 10 am. We have a smart lock for access. We'll send you the code on the day you check in. Please communicate via the VRBO app or website.

Due to security, fraud, loss and liability concerns, mail and packages cannot be received at our home. If you need mail delivered, have it delivered/redirected to a local UPS or USPS store or ship your Amazon package to a local Amazon locker.
