Bienvenue au mont. Ralphmore!

Absolument le meilleur Ă  tous points de vue ... emplacement, vues panoramiques et prix. Cette retraite de montagne est construite au cƓur des Rocheuses du Colorado (plus de 14 000 pieds de montagnes ici que partout ailleurs en AmĂ©rique du Nord), des vues Ă  couper le souffle sur les montagnes dans toutes les directions, la meilleure vue sur les cĂ©lĂšbres falaises de craie.

Donne sur et construit sur les rives de la belle Chalk Creek w / fenĂȘtres du sol au plafond .. Profitez de la beautĂ© (magnifique) et des sons de la nature (ruisseau bouillonnant ci-dessous), observez la faune (cerfs, wapitis, renards) pĂȘcher, faire de la randonnĂ©e ou s'asseoir sur le porche enveloppant de plus de 40 pieds. Le grand porche grillagĂ© est idĂ©al pour manger en plein air et se dĂ©tendre Ă©galement.

Il s'agit d'une demeure chaleureuse et merveilleusement construite avec tout le confort et les commoditĂ©s (peut-ĂȘtre plus) de la maison. Avec 3 salles de bain complĂštes et 6 vanitĂ©s sĂ©parĂ©es, tout le monde est logĂ©.

Mt. Ralphmore est situĂ© Ă  seulement 15 min. & 23 min. respectivement des villes historiques de Buena Vista et Salida, oĂč le charme, la gastronomie, le shopping et les galeries abondent!

La forĂȘt nationale de San Isabel, St. Elmo (cĂ©lĂšbre ville fantĂŽme et endroit idĂ©al pour nourrir les tamias ou louer des jeeps / motoneiges), Mt Princeton Hot Springs (les sources chaudes n ° 1 du Colorado) et la riviĂšre Arkansas (super rafting ou pĂȘche Ă  la mouche) sont tous ici.

Monarch, Ski Cooper et Copper Ski Resorts sont tous à 35-45 min. loin, tout comme Leadville (beaucoup d'histoire là-bas). Breckenridge est un peu plus d'une heure et Vail est 1 heure. & 30 minutes. Situé à 90 miles de Colorado Springs, les vols aller-retour sont faciles.

De nombreuses activités à pratiquer toute l'année. Le meilleur endroit pour prendre une famille, prendre un ami, faire une pause et prendre des vacances!

Great house that can accommodate a large group. Very homey with great views of Chalk Mountains and Chalk Creek. Kitchen has almost everything one needs but would suggest adding cloth napkins and having soap and more TP in bathrooms. Other than that it was well stocked and we greatly appreciated having refrigerator and dry good basics on hand. Highly recommend the property.

Creekside Cabin

Beautiful property located just minutes from Mt. Princeton Hot Springs Resort and just a short distance to the St. Elmo Miners Loop ATV/Jeep trails! You can also just enjoy the property, fresh mountain air, scenery, and creek right from the deck or creek side. Highly recommend this property!

Family vacation

The cabin was well kept, spacious, and well stocked. The location was private but close to many activities. We loved the fire pit when it wasn't raining. My son-in-law is a gourmet chef and found the kitchen very well set up for his creations. The kids loved the hikes, St Elmo, horseback riding, and the wildlife.

Under promised and over delivered

10 of us, ages 6 to 75 spent 4 wonderful nights at this spectacular property. What a pleasant surprise! Wonderfully provisioned with superior appliances, cooking utensils, dining, serving and entertainment options. Very comfortable sleeping arrangements with 4 different temperature settings throughout the house and a few fireplaces to enjoy. Beautiful views of Mt. Princeton and Chalk Cliffs, accompanied with a very pleasant Chalk creek a stone's throw from the balcony. Spacious, comfortably furnished and exquisitely provisioned (to include a device for sharpening your scissors). We will return.

Check in was super easy. Lots of bedrooms to sleep our 9 people. Beds were comfortable enough. Games and movies were available, but we had brought our own. Fire pit was nice to sit around and being right next to the river was very beautiful! Plenty of pots and pans and sets of dishes.

This property was better in person than the listing! Had a little of everything!...from the views, the beautiful setting by the creek, wildlife to the convenient location to hiking, Salida and Buena Vista! Perfect location for a week with our family!!

Perfect cabin get-away in Buena Vista area

This the perfect place for a family vacation in the middle of the beautiful Collegiate peaks. The cabin was wonderful for large gatherings. We comfortably slept 9 adults with room for more. It was very clean and right in the middle of fishing, white water rafting, hiking trails and very close to snow skiing. We couldn’t have asked for a better place. The owner was so responsive with ideas for groceries, restaurants and hiking trails. We had a wonderful time.

Lovely property.. well stocked kitchen and beautiful location. Lots of activities in the area. The listing was a little misleading in the sense they said under amenities 
.air conditioning
 but only fresh mountain air; which was one reason we rented because of allergies.

Sweet stay

This cabin is beautiful and well stocked. The bed arrangements weren’t great for our group (3 twins in one room and a double in a loft with no door), but we knew that when we booked it. Elizabeth was quick to reply to our questions and very helpful. The location along the creek is dreamy as is the screened in porch and games for kids. Some of the furniture is tired but overall a very cozy stay in a beautiful location. It feels like a home, not just a rental. Thanks for a great stay!

Wonderful Stay

We spent a long weekend at the cabin for our sons 40th birthday. It has everything we needed and more. The location is easy to get to. The cabin is immaculate and had plenty of room for the 12 of us - 8 adults, 4 kids. We have been going to Mt. Princeton for the last 40 plus years and this was by far our favorite stay. There is plenty of seating to accommodate everyone indoors and out. We loved having coffee by the creek in the morning, spending the day fishing in the creek and finishing the night up by the campfire roasting s'mores. The wrap around porch with the view of the Chalk Cliffs and Chalk Creek was truly a dream. Elizabeth was very responsive and very accommodating to our needs, we also give her 5 stars. The cabin is an amazing property for family pictures, we can't wait to put our photo books together for the family. Thank you for the wonderful stay, we will be back. Peace and Love, Bob and Janis

Comfortable home in beautiful surroundings

We chose this property for our annual women's only weekend. It met all of our expectations! It was easy to find, the setting was absolutely peaceful and beautiful, and the home was well stocked with all of the things we needed. There were 10 of us, and there was plenty of space for everyone. The kitchen was awesome - we had everything we needed for meals, etc. I can't think of anything that needs improvement except perhaps to have some instructions posted about using the fireplace in the living room. We loved being by the creek and being so close to hiking trails. Thank you to our hosts for being so thoughtful about what guests would appreciate! I would definitely rent this home again and would recommend it for anyone.

Creekside retreat

This was our 4th time to stay at this lovely cabin. Love the views and proximity to BV and Salida. House was well equipped and very comfortable. All around a 5 star rating!

Great cabin, perfect location!

We stayed in and loved this cabin for 6 days in July! Our group consisted of 6 adults and 7 children ranging from 10 to 1. The cabin is beautiful. The kitchen is perfect for a big group with plenty of countertop space and fully stocked with everything you should need. The huge dining table had plenty of room. The living room had plenty of seating. There is a large selection of toys and games. Pay attention to the bedroom setup. The bedrooms are nice and pretty large, but the bed setup wasn't the most ideal for us with the 1 room having 3 single beds. The loft sleeping area worked perfect for the older kids. The upstairs bathroom is set up very nicely with 2 sinks/vanities located right outside of the bathroom, then a full bathroom with shower, sink, and toilet. The screened in porch is perfect for extra storage and a place to hang out when it is raining. The wrap around porch is awesome with plenty of seating! The outside property is gorgeous. The stream running through the property is so peaceful. We caught a few trout right in the backyard! The firepit down by the stream is the best firepit I have ever seen. It's right at the water, it's huge, and has nice seating. We had a fire every evening. We had a deer in the yard every morning. The hummingbird feeder on the porch was always busy with hummingbirds too. The location of the cabin is perfect. It is right off a paved road, it's a very easy and short drive to both Buena Vista and Salida. There are hiking trails very close to the cabin, it is a quick 10 minute drive to St. Elmo. We brought side by sides and took off from St. Elmo on some trail rides, it was perfect. A couple things to keep in mind. First, there is plenty of parking at the cabin, but we had trailers with the side by sides. There isn't much room to turn the trailers around, we had to back them down the long narrow driveway. The control valve for the downstairs shower by the laundry room isn't working correctly. You can get the correct water temperature, but you have to keep spinning the lever and it just takes awhile to figure it out. Bring some extra toilet paper, there were 6 rolls when we got there which wasn't enough for our stay. One other minor issue is 3 months after booking I got a bill saying the cleaning fee was incorrect and I owed extra, a mistake had been made by someone but that far into the process I wasn't convinced it should be my responsibility to fix it. Overall we had a great stay and can't wait to come back!

Creekside Haven

Beautiful home in a quiet area situated on Chalk Creek. Views of the Chalk Cliffs from the home were amazing. We enjoyed fishing in the backyard, as well as nearby hiking, hot springs, and touring the local fish hatchery. Side trips to Buena Vista and Salida rounded out our weekend. We would definitely stay in this home again.

Wonderful setting right on Chalke Creek

The property had a very nice fire ring and chairs right along the creek. We saw quite a few deer wonder by. The location was great as we wanted to be near MP hot springs. The bed arrangement isn’t great for adults, but better suited for a lot of kids.

Amazing Common Areas

I don't usually write reviews, but I was so impressed with this property. There were 12 of us staying and so the spacious common areas (kitchen, family room, dining room, outdoor space) were perfect for enjoying time together. The sleeping arrangements were a bit awkward for three married couples as one couple either needed to sleep in the loft bed or separate beds, but it worked out fine. The location was incredible right on the river and very close to Buena Vista. We particularly enjoyed the seating and fire pit space down by the river. Everything was clean and there were plenty of amenities. We enjoyed the extensive DVD collection as well and my little one really appreciated the kids toys (and so did mom!). The only negative thing I would say is that one of the check-out requirements was to empty the dishwasher. While I understand that request, I found it to be a bit unreasonable as it doesn't take a lot of time to empty a dishwasher, but it does take a lot of time to hand-wash breakfast dishes for 12 people, as the dishwasher would not have been finished by the time we had to leave. But overall this is a wonderful property

Hearing the bubbling of the creek or viewing the Chalk Cliffs at sunrise, walking down Bunny Lane or driving up to St. Elmo, memories for a lifetime will be made.
