Welcome to your new favorite Black Hills cabin located on a hill top outside of Lead, SD, known as Mountain Breeze. This unique home-away-from-home is sure to give you an experience like you've never had when staying in the area. Located in the heart of the Northern Black Hills recreational corridor, and overlooking Lead, SD, you'll enjoy the convenience to local amenities and the ATV/snowmobile trails, skiing/snowboarding at Terry Peak, hiking and fishing, playing games or gambling in Deadwood, or just enjoying a cruise through the Black Hills. With all paved roads leading up to the cabin, a fantastic view of the surrounding Black Hills and Lead, a large garage and plenty of parking, it's perfect for those looking for that unique cabin. You're also just an hour away from places like Sylvan Like, Custer State Park, Mount Rushmore, Devils Tower and more. Whether you're visiting the area to enjoy a weekend relaxing, an adventure filled vacation, or a weekending visiting the National and State Parks, Mountain Breeze is sure to make for a memorable experience.

After days enjoying the local attractions, coming home to this wonderful cabin is sure to be a favorite part of your vacation. Located on the top of a hill overlooking Lead, SD, you'll never forget watching the wildlife roam across the land or viewing the starry skies at night. The oversized 3 car garage is great for storing your ATVs and vehicles, while the parking area has plenty of extra space for some trailer parking. The cabin is spread across 2 levels with full kitchen, a large living area with TV, a home office desk area, and a bedroom on the main level. The lower level is complete with a large living area that includes a large TV great for movie nights and a pool table. There are 3 bedrooms on the lower level as well. The cabin also has an air hokey table, foosball, and also a set of bean bags for entertainment. There's a covered deck on the main level with a gas grill as well. There's cable TV and high-speed internet at the cabin, along with amenities like central air and just 5 minutes to local restaurants and bars. Deadwood is a short 10 minute drive away and taxi's do service the cabin. It's a perfect balance of spacious amenities, and proximity to local attractions. Your next stay at Mountain Breeze will surely give you lasting memories for years to come.

Wedding weekend

We were in town for our sons destination wedding. The house was very comfortable and gave us plenty of space for the 2 families staying there. The game tables were perfect for the young adults to pass the time.

Beautiful vacation home, great for larger groups

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful vacation home. We were an extended family of 10. Amazing views, good location, clean, spacious. Lots of seating and space to spread out, the 4 bathrooms and extra beds were helpful. Kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed the foosball and air hockey tables and also being able to park in the garage in case of bad weather. House is well maintained and check in/out process was easy. Would recommend. FYI- We visited in the spring, but if you stay in the winter you’d need 4 wheel drive given there are some steeper streets to get to the house. All are paved though.

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When we arrive our house was filthy beds were not made trash still in the kitchen dirty towels. We will never rent agin from these people they did not compensate us for the inconvenience, they put us in a different house for one night then had to get all of our stuff back into original place

The rooms were spacious the furniture was lovely and comfortable. The only downfalls were that there was only one towel per person which means we had to wash every night. And we had to buy our own toilet paper. Which wouldn’t of been a big deal if we didn’t known about it ahead of time. We did have some issues with some outdoor plug-ins and couldn’t get anyone from the rental agency to answer a phone calls But those are minor inconveniences and we had a great time and enjoy our 4 wheeler vacation. And we never did figure out why they didn’t mow the lawn? But It did give the deer something to eat in the morning

Great Place and Great Location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I recommend this place for anyone wanting to vacation in South Dakota. Only issue that we had was that the basement was freezing. To cool upstairs you have to freeze the basement. Even with this issue, you cannot go wrong with this vacation rental. Great place to stay. Bed were comfortable / Great Firepit / lots of entertainment lots of fun / outstanding location to Badlands - Custer State Park - Mt. Rushmore. Recommend this place for everyone.

The house was great!

The house was exactly what we were expecting. We were surprised with the paper products that were stocked like tissues, toilet paper and paper plates, as well as dishwasher detergent and hand soap in all the bathrooms. We loved the deck and fire pit table. We found fire roasting sticks under the huge grill so we were able to have s’mores. The kids liked all the game tables. Our only negative was the basement, that had all the guest rooms but one, was really cold at night. Thankfully we found plenty of extra blankets in the closets.

Nice house with all the amenities needed. Beautiful views of the Black Hills and centrally located to hit all the popular tourist locations. Such as Mt Rushmore, Keystone, and Devils Tower.

Family vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of the house was beautiful. The grandchildren enjoyed all the games that were in the house. There was plenty of room for us. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cooking utensils. We had 12 family members in the house but only had 9 bath towels provided so that was an issue. Also all 3 propane tanks were empty when we arrived so could not use the grill or fire pit until someone left 1 the next day after we contacted them by text message. The fire pit never did get used as the connection was broken. A big disappointment for the grandkids. Leaving messages on the phone number provided was not possible since the mailbox recording said the mailbox was full. The house was pretty clean but the yard was not maintained. Lots of deer and wild turkeys in the area which was fun to watch. Close grocery store was nice. The directions to the house were clear and key code worked.
