à propos de cet hébergement
Luxury Villa | Beautiful Marsh Views | 3 Minute Drive to the Beach
This outstanding, new-to-the rental market Club Villa unit is all about the views and convenienceâfrom the beautifully landscaped private courtyard garden to its proximity to the island's fabulous beaches.
Located on the 1,300-acre Omni Amelia Island Plantation Resort, with its extensive biking and walking trails, the townhouse is in a gated community with 24-hour security, and is situated on the ninth fairway of the Pete Dye-designed PGA Oak Marsh Golf Course.
The spacious interior of the villa is an open, contemporary space that blends a sophisticated coastal vibe with Old-World charm. As you open the front door, your eye will immediately be drawn through the light and airy décor to the rear windows with an expansive salt-marsh vista, where majestic live oaks draped with Spanish moss lead to a picture-perfect expanse of nature. Graceful coastal birds hover over the marsh, boats traverse the intracoastal waterway, and, most of the year, stunning sunsets rival those anywhere on the island.
The fully equipped galley kitchen is Mediterranean inspired. The kitchen opens onto a large dining area with a white and blue oval table and blue cane-back dining chairs. A sweeping arch over a jade-green wall highlights the globally influenced buffet and mirror.
The serene living area provides ample comfortable seating. White driftwood lamps sit atop blue barrel side tables, and a soft sisal rug and rattan coffee table add coastal charm. Although you can relax and read a book or watch a movie on the large HD TV, observing the birds on the marsh is the preferred form of entertainment. Herons, ospreys, egrets, roseate spoonbills, owls, even bald eagles can be sighted. Bird watchers will want to bring binoculars.
Shade trees and gentle marsh breezes make the patio a perfect space for dining al fresco. On clear evenings, head out to the fairway to catch a glimpse of the star-lit sky.
Upstairs, the large master bedroom is simply decorated with white walls and bedding, and muted ocean-hued accent pieces. A sea-green cathedral ceiling creates an unexpected design element.
Tropical art and a woven banana-leaf headboard add to the island experience. The private balcony and king-size bed offer stunning marsh views.
A charming dressing area, complete with a spacious closet, dresser, mirror and whimsical sea-glass pendant light, leads to the ensuite bathroom, which has a granite counter top and large walk-in shower. Tropical art and an ocean-blue accent wall add a serene touch.
Soothing tones of aqua create a peaceful retreat in the second bedroom, which has a queen-size bed. A private balcony overlooks the front courtyard and a grove of trees, which makes this room a pleasant place to relax. The ensuite has a combined tub and shower.
A beautifully renovated pool is just steps from this villa. A short walk leads to Drummond Point Park, where children will love the amenities, including playground equipment, a soccer field, ping-pong table and basketball court. Pickle ball courts round out the fun. The entire family will enjoy the views from the walkway that extends into the marsh, where wildlife abounds. Catch a sunset here or on the dock at nearby Walker's Landing, where you can fish, launch a kayak, or study the site where the Timucuans once lived. Kids also love Aury Island, a great spot to swing, play on a pirate ship, observe turtles, or fish in the lake. Bicycle, golf cart and kayak rentals are available on and off the resort.
Looking for restaurants, spas or shopping? Look no further than the Shops at Omni Amelia Island, a five-minute walk from Club Villas. You'll find upscale and family-friendly restaurants, a world-class spa and boutiques offering clothing, as well as gifts and food. A nature center, miniature golf course, and small soccer field offer further opportunities for family time. The Omni Hotel also has a beach-front bar and several ocean-side restaurants.
The spectacular resort beach, with easy access, is a quick walk or bike ride away. The popular public beach at Burney Park, a 10-minute drive, offers bathrooms and showers. A short drive takes you to the incredible state parks of Amelia Island, Big Talbot Island and Little Talbot Island, where you can hike, fish or simply hang out on a secluded beach. Take advantage of guided kayak tours for exploring the meandering marsh, as well as horseback rides on the beach.
When you're ready for a break from all the fun you're having, drive into the historic and quaint old-Florida town of Fernandina, with its numerous restaurants and shops. While visiting, check out the boats at the city marina or book a cruise to nearby Cumberland Island to see the wild horses. Fort Clinch State Park, where history meets nature, is also located on the north end of the island.
Note: Parking at Club Villas is readily available, but there is no reserved parking. The owners ask that visitors be respectful of the neighbors, many of whom call Club Villas home. No campers, trailers or motorcycles are allowed on the resort.
PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT WE DO NOT OFFER AN OMNI AMENITY CARD. Golf packages are not included. Guests DO have access to the resort's restaurants, shops, parks, trails and spa.
Book with Confidence. We offer all guests reserving a stay more than 30 days in advance the ability to cancel for FREE within 72 hours of booking.
