Historic family farm on 200 bucolic acres. Enjoy the peaceful oasis and pastoral scenery of this precious old home, in the quaint village of Grass Lake. Wake up to the sound of mourning doves. Bicycle to town for morning coffee and a visit to one of the local museums. Read on the gracious front porch with the barns as a backdrop, and listen for the faint sound of the train as it passes through town.
We enjoyed the stay very much and would like to return. Kelly was terrific throughout and very supportive. Easy to check in and check out. The house came with more supplies than we imagined. J&J
The house, barns, and property were beautiful. We enjoyed some lovely time on the porch, and the space was perfect for three friends and I to catch up.
We enjoyed the house with its nostaglic feel. It worked for our group of 5 adult family members and our dog. Grocery store is very close and had what we needed. Enjoyed the view of red barns, corn fields and visits from Sandhill Cranes.
This is my second time staying at Aunt Estherâs, and I am once again shocked that this property is even available to rent â it feels like the home should be a museum, not a rental. The grounds are beautiful, and Kelly, the hostess, did a wonderful job. I cannot recommend this place enough. Will be sure to return!
Great stay at Aunt Esters! Easy check in process, fresh veggies and eggs were provided and we loved that little detail. We came in for a music festival and it was a great little getaway in between coming and going to that. Kelly was very helpful in describing every detail we would need that I didnât have any questions on anything. Thanks for the hospitality!
