Feel refreshed and restored when you stay at this conveniently located property, just a short distance from Dulles International Airport and the Blue Ridge Mountains. Located in the heart of Loudoun County’s Wine Country, The Gruner Bungalow offers stunning views of our vineyard and the County’s landmark Franklin Farm silo. This is a recently renovated 8 Bedroom, 7 full bath, and 2 half bath residence that comfortably accommodates up to 16 guests, along with a recreation room for entertainment and an outdoor saltwater pool to cool off.

We had a wonderful stay at Gruner Bungalow! There were 12 of us celebrating our father's 85th birthday. The house was amazing with so many places to sit and enjoy time together and plenty of well appointed bedrooms/bathrooms. The property manager recommended a chef that we had come in which was amazing. The pool and grilling area were awesome. The staff at the winery were so nice. We had a fun wine tasting and enjoyed delicious wine and the beautiful landscape. Highly recommend and would stay again.

Fun and beautiful property!

We used the property for my sister's bachelorette party and we had a great time! Just steps away from the winery and surrounded by beautiful landscape while we enjoyed the pool. Very comfortable sleeping arrangements!

Friend reunion

Great communication with property manager. Discounts at winery next door. Plenty of room for adult vacation with bathrooms and bedrooms. Kitchen well stocked and check in and out is smoothest I have had at a rental.

Wedding rental

We rented this house with the purpose to have our combined families to meet each other and to hang out getting to know everyone. The setting was perfect for the occasion, Kristopher the owner was very gracious and easily reachable if needed. The adjoining winery is just a short stroll away and they have some fine wines to enjoy.

Lovely Home, Ok pool

The home was lovely and very clean. There were 11 of us ages 80 to 2. The only negative is that the pool was dirty with sand and floating bugs, etc., but we used the pool anyway and had a great time.

Great stay for birthday weekend

We loved our stay at the bungalow! We had 8 couples staying for a 40th birthday weekend celebration and everyone had tons of space of their own while having lots of common living areas to come together. The extra kitchen was amazing for meal prep and keeping the main kitchen (where everyone loved to gather!) clean. Our only complaint was the basement bedroom was quite chilly and the heat didn’t seem to make it’s way down there, but it was also a very cold and windy weekend! Having the winery next door was really fun - we all walked over for a tasting and drink before our brewery bus tour and the location of the house was perfect for that too. We would definitely stay again!

Fantastic Location For Our Board Game Get-Away!

We had a wonderful week at the property. It was 100% as advertised - when we first walked in we were blown away at how open and roomy it felt and how clean everything was. There we even a few pleasent surprises most notably that there are 2 powder rooms on the main floor which I don't remember seeing in the listing. Kris and the management team were very responsive, even over the holiday - we had a few minor issues and they jumped right on it. They also recommended an awesome caterer when the onsite team was already booked. All in all it was the perfect location for our event - can't recommend it highly enough - we will be back!!! Thanks for everything, Dave, Ann Marie and the WilliamsCon Gang :-)

90th Birthday Celebration made even more memorable

We stayed at Gruner Bungalow during July 4th weekend for my father's 90 birthday and family celebration. Anita was a great host - responsive, accommodating to our needs, on-site support and truly and genuinely interested in the success of our celebration. The house itself was well maintained and more than adequately accommodated our family who stayed at the bungalow as well as those who participated in our gathering during the day and evening. The rooms were perfect in size and well maintained. The pool itself was great for having fun and overall chilling. The bungalow was next to Otium cellars tasting room so we were able to enjoy the amazing wines that were available... their staff was amazing and supportive as well. The grounds were simply beautiful. As an additional benefit, we were able to watch the Franklin Park fireworks from the venue. We will definitely stay at Gruner Bungalow again (hopefully for my father’s 95th and 100th birthdays) and visit Otium cellars in the mean time as well.

Big Bungalow

The bungalow is very spacious and a great size for multiple families to stay in while hosting a wedding at the nearby property. The game room was a perfect hang out space for the groomsmen the morning of the wedding. For a large home, it was very quiet.The Keurig didn't work but we made do with getting regular coffee for the other pot. The door to the laundry area was off its track but we didn't do any laundry just being there for the weekend. Two big reasons for the 3 star rating:The mattresses in all the rooms except the "primary suite" over the game room are in need of replacement. The guests in those rooms didn't get much sleep because of the sagging mattresses and creaking beds resulting from the mattresses being so soft/worn out. The AC in the area with the smaller kitchen and basement bedroom was not working at all. We were able to open some windows to let some cooler air in and it was cloudy/rainy which helped keep it from getting unbearably hot. It would have been miserable otherwise.A couple suggestions:Add some toys/books for children and maybe a "pack n play" or portable crib and a high chair.Provide some outdoor games like corn hole, ladder ball or can jam. The yard is great for playing. Provide a golf cart or 2 to go back and forth to the wedding venue. We rented 2 and they were definitely used a lot. The convenience of being located next to the winery and across from the wedding venue were positives for sure.

Amazing Birthday Weekend at Gruner

My wife and I stayed at the Gruner Bungalow with 7 other couples in early June. The house and property were amazing. 8 couples had plenty of space including individual bedrooms all with large beds, and LOTS of living space. The multiple living rooms, game room, and outdoor pool space were great. The game room features pool, ping pong, and two huge flatscreen TVs each with independent feeds (great for watching two different sporting events). The home features two kitchens which are very helpful to support cooking, serving, and eating. We had a private chef and his staff come to the house one night and there was plenty of space for him and his staff to cook, work, and serve without anyone feeling on top of each other. Pool was very nice; not heated but even in early June it was warm enough to swim in and quite clean. The entire pool area was very nice and great area to spend time. The home is located on the Otium Cellars property which is incredibly unique for a home rental! You can walk about 50 steps from the rental home to the tasting room which is fantastic. Overall, the home is very well kept, very clean, and plenty big for a large group of adults. There is great access to the Northern Virginia wine country and to the town of Purcellville. I highly recommend for an adult friend or family gathering! Jamie

Excellent Vacation Property

The house is beautiful; very updated with lots of places to sit and have conversations! It is really close to the tasting room at Otium, but it was never an issue. The pool is really nice, too! Our group of families had a great time! Overall, beautiful house and we had an amazing time.

Great Location

It's was great. We visited family in the area. And had our family Christmas together at this place. We played ping pong and pool when we where there. Great location for dogs. Plenty of space to run and play. The house was great as well. Plenty of space for everyone.

This was our third time staying at this beautiful property for our strategic planning session, and once again, it was a fantastic experience.
