Cette maison de plage est le lieu de vacances idĂ©al pour les familles, surtout avec les enfants. La plage est trĂšs propre, avec beaucoup d'espace pour jouer et regarder vos enfants. EntiĂšrement climatisĂ© et chauffĂ©. La maison est trĂšs familial avec un mobilier confortable et d'hĂ©bergement. Pas besoin de vous soucier des enfants rupture lampes coĂ»teuses. Cette maison a Ă©tĂ© dĂ©tenue par les mĂȘmes propriĂ©taires depuis plus de 30 ans et leurs enfants et petits enfants revenir chaque Ă©tĂ©.
Il ya 4 chambres de bonnes dimensions Beachy lumineuses, toutes équipées avec des horloges de radio / alarme. 2 chambres avec lits doubles et 2 chambres avec paires de jumeaux - 1 salle de bain complÚte à l'étage principal salon avec une cabine douche et une salle de bain complÚte sous la maison avec une douche (privé) attaché à l'extérieur - ainsi que d'une douche extérieure sur le passerelle revenir dans de la plage.
TV / VCR / DVD (w / cùble) dans la chambre de la famille - Beaucoup de siÚges autour de la maison à l'intérieur et sur le pont - Petit radio / lecteur CD portable - Ceci est un endroit idéal pour une famille.

Great stay at this charming house with direct beach access and beautiful views! Only thing missing was dishwasher. We didn’t realize it was missing from the amenities list. Would be a great addition to the house for bigger groups. Also the upstairs shower did not work but we only noticed that on last day since we were using the outdoor shower mostly. Notified the owner so hopefully it will be fixed. Great place to stay with kids, we recommend this property for anyone looking for a perfect beach location!

Beachfront and walkable to everything!

Great location! Beautiful beachfront views and able to walk to restaurants and shopping and to the pier for fishing. Property had everything we needed although we didn’t need to use the kitchen to cook so can’t speak to that. We would definitely stay again.

Cozy beach stay!

As it states in the listing, this is not a fancy updated beach house, but our little group of moms and daughters were quite charmed by this beach cottage! It’s an old house, but still was very clean. It had summer camp vibes, and we loved being right on the ocean- it’s even closer than it looks in the pictures! Owner responded immediately and communicated well with a few check in issues, and went above and beyond taking care of us. We hope we can come back someday and stay here again, it was such a lovely, relaxing time!

The Perfect Stay

The entire stay was perfection! We are a large family of six. Kids aged 11,7,4 and 1. There was room for everyone. The beds were comfortable and the location was close to town. We were able to walk to the shops/restaurants. The kitchen had everything you’d need if you were wanting to cook. The TVs were equipped with cable and Netflix to occupy the kiddos during down time. The view was unbeatable. Nothing beats waking up to the sound of waves. This will absolutely be our go to place to stay at Folly Beach. Thank you for having us!

What a wonderful house
 like a good old family cottage right on the beach. Folly beach is the greatest too
 so glad we stayed there over Sullivan’s and Isle of palms.

An awesome beach cottage

Great spot for a weekend gathering with our college aged kids! Great location-about a 10 minute walk to Center Street. Funky older cottage with lots of character-not perfect by any means-but perfect if you are looking for a casual spot that you don't have to worry about ruining anything.

We had an amazing weekend with a stunning view! Despite the rain throughout our stay, our celebration for mom was truly memorable. I wanted to mention that the twin mattresses in one of the rooms could really use an upgrade; they’re quite worn out, and even our youngest girls struggled to find comfort on them. I can only imagine how challenging it would be for an adult. Additionally, the towels seemed a bit thin and dated. One of the washcloths even had bleach stains, which made it more suitable for cleaning than for personal use. No other bath towels were provided. We only found a couple of beach towels one of which we used to step out of the shower and the other to dry off after coming in from the rain at the back door. We did not use the bathroom, shower, washer/dryer downstairs. Seems great during the summer, but dark and we didn’t want to use anything with the weather. The kitchen knobs were sticky and might need replacing or at least a thorough cleaning. During our stay, our curious little girls opened the door in the twin room and found quite a bit of trash hidden behind the sofa. We did reach out to Alex regarding an issue with the TV in that room, but the kids managed just fine without it. Overall, we had a fantastic time playing games, enjoying each other’s company, watching surfers, indulging in delicious food, and truly appreciating the charm of the old house in such a lovely location. We would definitely consider renting again with a few improvements. Alex was

Our favorite place to stay on Folly!!!

This is our second time staying at this quaint cottage on the beach. We love the charm and vintage bones it has. Plenty of space and kitchen had absolutely everything we needed to prepare our seafood feasts. Also love that we didn’t feel at all crowded on the beach and had tons of beachfront space for all our chairs and stuff. I could go on and on but I’ll stop for now. Communication was amazing and house very clean! We will be back next year!

Great beach

Our week was great in this house, fabulous location, beautiful beach. The house is old, needs maintenance, possibly the smallest shower I've ever had the displeasure to use. But not a deal breaker overall. Owner responded quickly with a few minor issues, was very nice.

Loved it!!

Perfect beach house vacation!!! (and we only live 30 mins away). We loved everything about this house and look forward to making it a yearly getaway! Exactly as described and Alex was quick and easy to communicate with. Location is fabulous and the house is just as described. The outdoor showers and storage under the house make it easy to keep the sand mostly out which is amazing with little kids. Already looking forward to next year.

Great surviver of Folly Beach, best vacation ever.

This wonderful little house is perfectly situated, just a short beach walk to downtown Folly, and an amazing example of what life used to be on Folly before the condos and mini-mansions took over. The character and feel of this place can't be measured in sq. ft., but in the joy of the experience. While we were there, we felt like the place was ours, and we truly wanted it to be. Alex was extremely accommodating and let us stay an extra day in this paradise next to the ocean. Thank you again Alex, and we hope to be regular visitors in the future.

Location is the reason to stay here

Excellent views up and down the beach and you can watch the sunrise from your bed (depending on room), the living/diining space or the deck. Furniture and beds are comfortable. Be aware that due to severe beach Erik soon there was a 4’ drop from the end of the house walkway to the actual beach. Using the public access was slightly easier but still difficult for grandparents. People were digging their own “stairs” and hopefully this is resolved soon. We found that mane electric sockets didn’t work and others were loose in the socket. Not much light in the dining area so we had to move lamps around to eat - which would be less of a problem in summer with longer daylight. Bedroom closest to dining table has windows into dining space (clearly used to be the end of the internal space) and glass is broken in one pane which means person in that full bed should be last to bed, first to rise. Also make sure to understand there is only one indoor shower and the little toilet room under the house is not heated. The deck is wonderful for soaking up the sun and watching the waves - and that is what you are really paying for. No need to spend too much time indoors. Overall it worked for our short trip (except the beach erosion problem which isn’t homeowners fault although adding a staircase over the dune as others have would solve that issue) and we were lucky to find anything on the beach and for this price. We just wanted grandma to watch the sunrise at the beach one more time.

Awesome location, older beach house

My family had a good time staying at this property, what really made it for us was the location. Right on the beach, only about a 15 walk to restaurants, bars and shops. We had plenty of room inside the house, listing was accurate and we expected the house to be older. Upon arrival the house wasn't filthy but the cleaners didn't do a great job at all. Giving 5 stars for the size of the house and amazing location, extra toilet and shower under the house was also a plus!

Beautiful Beach Week

The pictures were very accurate. This is a rather rustic, older beach house. The location cannot be better. Folly Beach was a lot of fun with great restaurants, and the beach was the best I have ever experienced. I would stay again anytime! The only negative was that the cleaning staff could have done a better job.

Perfect location.

Perfect location, the right number of beds, new flooring, love the deck, just needs a bigger table with umbrella and more chairs. Owner was very responsive and helpful!

Family Vacation

Perfect amount of space for the 8 of us! I was worried about having only one bathroom on the main level but having an extra shower and toilet under the house solved that. Beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed (the coffee maker is a Keurig if you are shopping in advance)and communication with the owner was EXCELLENT! Being right on the beach was the highlight as we spent most of our time there. This house is not fancy or updated but homey and comfortable. The interior could use a fresh coat of paint, but over all we had an amazing time!
