An incredible getaway with fishing, kayaking, canoeing, and the beach right next door! The children loved it, and the wildlife, fire pit, and hot tub made our stay unforgettable. I would highly recommend this getaway!

Our stay at OliBear was incredible, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, beach right next door! The children loved it. The house was comfortable, deck beautiful and the fire pit was so much fun at night, having some cocktails and roasting s’mores! Something incredible that we did not even know about, so much wildlife, the deer come right up to you and will eat lettuce out of your hand! We saw a fox. I would highly recommend this getaway, lest we not forget the hot tub!

We really enjoyed the local hiking, boating, and fishing. Our nightly campfires were definitely a highlight of our stay! It was so exciting to see deer on the property each night.

The house and location were really good. There is a lake right in the backyard and a small sandy beach one minute away. The hosts were incredibly responsive.

The hosts were incredibly responsive. When one or two items that were in the description were missing, the hosts had new ones dropped off almost right away. All in all it was a great week for my family and me to hang out, cook, swim, kayak, play corn hole, and eat s'mores at night.

The property had so many amenities and was very clean. It has a rustic feel throughout. The access to the lake and the use of the boats made everyday fun. The beach area is just 50 yds away and offers fun for kids and adults alike. The owners were in constant contact via email and were available at a moments notice to take care of any questions or concerns that may have come up. Wonderful time was had by all.

We had a great stay overall! The house is in an excellent location with easy access to the lake, and the game room was a huge hit with everyone in our group. It was a great space to relax and have fun after spending the day outside.There were a couple of minor issues, including a few stains on the bed sheets when we arrived. The basement had flooded due to an issue caused by a previous guest. That said, the host was incredibly accommodating, responded immediately, and worked quickly to address the situation. Their communication and willingness to help made a big difference.Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property to others looking for a fun getaway in a great location.

Beautiful home! This is the perfect home if you want to getaway and relax especially if you’re feeling burnt out from work. Bushkill falls is a 10 minute drive so you have that and there are local stores nearby.

There’s so much to do at the house that you don’t even want to leave and venture out. Bushkill falls is a 10 minute drive so you have that and there are local stores nearby I can say guests should prepare to bring things into the house to make it feel more homey. Hot tub and the lake were great! Rooms were very nice and beds were comfortable. Bathrooms were very nice as well. Only comments I have are that the water pressure on the 2nd floor was too low to shower and walking down to the lake could use some stairs. We had an amazing trip and enjoyed the house amenities! Communication with the hosts was fast and they were very helpful. I would definitely recommend this rental and would love to stay here again!

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Olibear is a great place to come and visit. It's located in the Pocono Mountains, next door from Old Mallard (also a lakefront rental) and 3 house away from Lakeberry our other lakefront home.
