The Lake Was Absolutely Stunning, So Peaceful and Private! The Perfect Weekend Getaway, and We Truly Couldn’t Have Asked for a Better Experience! We Will Definitely Be Back!

We had such a wonderful stay! The property was exactly as listed and everything we could have hoped for. The host was incredibly helpful and communicative, and provided so much detailed information that we felt completely comfortable knowing how everything worked, from turning things on and off to making the most of our stay. The lake was absolutely stunning, and we loved watching all the beautiful birds and deer throughout the property. It was so peaceful and private, making it the perfect weekend getaway. The hot tub was spotless, heated perfectly, and was such a nice way to unwind. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Would absolutely recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing escape, and we will definitely be back!

A Cozy and Spacious Lakefront Home That the Whole Family Enjoyed

We booked this property for our wedding weekend for our family to stay at. Though the weekend was washed out due to the storm, there were lots of blankets, beds and space for our family to enjoy a rainy weekend by the lake. Everyone said how cozy it was. The house was clean and organized and lots of deer kept us company :)

An incredible getaway with fishing, kayaking, canoeing, and the beach right next door! The children loved it, and the wildlife, fire pit, and hot tub made our stay unforgettable. I would highly recommend this getaway!

Our stay at OliBear was incredible, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, beach right next door! The children loved it. The house was comfortable, deck beautiful and the fire pit was so much fun at night, having some cocktails and roasting s’mores! Something incredible that we did not even know about, so much wildlife, the deer come right up to you and will eat lettuce out of your hand! We saw a fox. I would highly recommend this getaway, lest we not forget the hot tub!

We really enjoyed the local hiking, boating, and fishing. Our nightly campfires were definitely a highlight of our stay! It was so exciting to see deer on the property each night.

My Family Loved This Place! Very Private and Quiet Neighborhood, Wonderful View of the Lake, Awesome Amenities, and We All Wished We Could Have Stayed Longer!

My family loved this place! Very private and quiet neighborhood and wonderful view of the lake. My adult kids are all cooks and appreciated the very well stocked kitchen. It was nice having a large indoor and outdoor table to enjoy meals together. I think we made use of all the awesome amenities… had a fire inside, played for hours in the game room, had corn hole competitions, made s’mores by the fire pit and relaxed in the spa (it had lots of jets which felt great on my back). Our favorite thing was going out on the beautiful lake with the various boats. I liked the canoe best but the kayaks and paddle boat were fun too. We had the whole lake to ourselves! Actually our favorite thing was seeing deer every morning and evening… they came right up to the back porch! Also the squirrels and wild turkeys were fun to watch. The host was great and provided lots of local information and responded to the few questions I had very quickly. We all wished we could have stayed longer!!!

The house and location were really good. There is a lake right in the backyard and a small sandy beach one minute away. The hosts were incredibly responsive.

The house and location were really good. There is a lake right in the backyard and a small sandy beach one minute away to which Jennifer and Jose's guests have access. The hosts were incredibly responsive. When one or two items that were in the description were missing, the hosts had new ones dropped off almost right away. All in all it was a great week for my family and me to hang out, cook, swim, kayak, play corn hole, and eat s'mores at night.

The property had so many amenities and was very clean. It has a rustic feel throughout. The access to the lake and the use of the boats made everyday fun. The beach area is just 50 yds away and offers fun for kids and adults alike. The owners were in constant contact via email and were available at a moments notice to take care of any questions or concerns that may have come up. Wonderful time was had by all.

We had a great stay overall! The house is in an excellent location with easy access to the lake, and the game room was a huge hit with everyone in our group. It was a great space to relax and have fun after spending the day outside.There were a couple of minor issues, including a few stains on the bed sheets when we arrived. The basement had flooded due to an issue caused by a previous guest. That said, the host was incredibly accommodating, responded immediately, and worked quickly to address the situation. Their communication and willingness to help made a big difference.Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property to others looking for a fun getaway in a great location.

Beautiful home! This is the perfect home if you want to getaway and relax especially if you’re feeling burnt out from work. Bushkill falls is a 10 minute drive so you have that and there are local stores nearby.

There’s so much to do at the house that you don’t even want to leave and venture out. Bushkill falls is a 10 minute drive so you have that and there are local stores nearby I can say guests should prepare to bring things into the house to make it feel more homey. Overall my group and I enjoyed our stay and hope to comeback and visit in the future!

Hot tub and the lake were great! Rooms were very nice and beds were comfortable. Bathrooms were very nice as well. Only comments I have are that the water pressure on the 2nd floor was too low to shower and walking down to the lake could use some stairs. We had an amazing trip and enjoyed the house amenities! Communication with the hosts was fast and they were very helpful. I would definitely recommend this rental and would love to stay here again!

We had a big group of ladies retreat for a weekend during a snowy winter visit, and it was wonderful. We were cozy with the fireplace, hot tub. Very proactive and responsive host.
