Delaware regulations require all guests sign a lease agreement within 10 days of booking. A lease agreement will be sent within 24 hours of booking and an electronic signature is required before final check-in information is made available.

Perfect getaway!

This was a perfect place for our family of 4 to get away for the weekend! It was clean and comfortable throughout. The neighborhood is very walkable and the beach is just a quick ride away. So many amenities available within the community. We will definitely be back!

Comfortable location

We really enjoyed this condo, especially the furnished porch and porch swing. The beds were a little too firm, but the quiet cul-de-sac was very enjoyable. However, every time we try to access the sea colony pool or hot tub, they were closed, which was very disappointing because this was a Main draw as the ocean water was too cold to enjoy.

Quiet Beach Retreat

This condo was beautifully renovated, with white Shaker cabinets, quartz countertops, and stainless steel appliances, and it was the most quiet vacation rental I’ve ever experienced, as it’s an end unit. The layout was also perfect for me, my sister, and my niece with three bedrooms and two full baths. My niece LOVED the bunk bed. The beautifully decorated screened in porch, adjoining porch with a swing, and picnic table on the side yard were wonderful and private. We would love to return for a longer stay next year!

Beach Family reunion

The condo was very nicely furnished, as was the screened in porch. Everything was labeled. We cooked for a big group, so the cooking pans and utensils were great. I would have preferred a manual with a few instructions, though. There was plenty of seating for a group. I would highly recommend it.

Nice condo

This is our 5th year staying at Sea Colony and the resort has all we need. Our condo this year was a perfect size for our family of 5. We loved the large screened in porch. My husband was very excited to have a gas grill to use, however he had to replace the propane tank after 1 use. Our washer did not work upon arrival and sea colony maintenance was unable to fix it. We checked in sat and the washer was not repaired until Wednesday evening. This required us going to the laundromat 2 times. Communication with Vacasa was awful regarding this issue and that is why I am not giving 5 stars.

Ok home, ok location in Sea Colony

This home is primarily a rental home and has little-to-no decorations or supplies; if you are staying here, I'd suggest bringing most of the things you might need if you're trying to make this home for a couple of days. Limited cooking supplies, no spices, limited deocrations. The beds are fairly hard and though there are a lot of pillows, consider bringing your own as these are not comfortable. Good location if you are here for tennis, but this is far from the aquatic center or fitness center (about a ten minute walk) so if you have small kids like we do, might consider a closer location. Near a tram stop which is good. Last green tram stop on the way to the beach so tram can be full by the time it gets there. Screens on screened in porch need work and got many mosquito bites sitting out there.

Not the usual cleanliness that I expected

Good location however the house was dusty, the porch and outside sitting Area had a 1/4 of pollen dust. The oven had cleaner still on the oven walls.

This home was the right size however it was kit cleaned to our expectation. There was a lot of dirt and stuff under the sofa in East view and the dishwasher was full of dishes upon our arrival. No dishwasher soap was left for us. The porch was dusty. For the money we paid we felt it should have been much cleaner.

Great location, kitchen was updated, however, the curtains and rods need to be either cleaned or replaced. The area rugs too need to be cleaned or replaced. Outside furniture was stained and dirty looking. All in all, we had a great vacation.

Perfect Beach Getaway

A beautiful home that was centrally located, had a serene setting, and provided us all sorts of amenities. Loved the community for beautiful long walks. The screened porch was perfect for coffee and reading and evening cocktails. We'll definitely be back!

Great stay!

We loved our stay at 22008 Timberview! We loved that we were walking distance to the tennis / pickleball courts, as well as to the ice cream shop Ba Roos! The house itself was the perfect size for our group (two families) - we especially loved the bunkroom for the 4 kids! The kitchen was well-stocked and the unit was very clean when we arrived.

Great place at sea colony. Nice and spacious and great decor and colors. Great location, easy walkability around the premises and short walk to pools and fitness center. Easy drive to beach and trolley is available in the summer. Highly recommended for a family get together or a girls weekend!

October Beach Weekend

We try to go away each October for a weekend with our three kids and this year we really hit it out of the park when we decided to see what all the buzz is about at Sea Colony in Bethany Beach. We lucked out with weather to get some beach time in, took an adventurous drive to Cape Henlopen and Lewes where we had lunch amidst live music, and took advantage of the state park’s bike barn, spectacular views and history from the gorgeous wooded pine dunes. We also enjoyed plenty of outdoor dining and mini golf in Bethany and Fenwick Island, both just a stones throw from this lovely home base! We even fit in some tennis on the incredibly well-kept and beautifully landscaped courts. What a surprise that our stay was under the shade of mature vegetation and surrounded by such lush scenery! We were able to connect over buckets of Fishers popcorn, fudge, and board games, while having more than enough space to spread out in this unit with our kids who range from age 6-15 and were very comfortable. The kitchen is updated and spacious. The ceilings are nice and high. The majority of the flooring is new. The bedrooms are clean, crisp and well-decorated. The washer and dryer are conveniently located as are the two large full baths, and the living space extends seamlessly to the wrap around screened in porch. We enjoyed relaxing on the indoor sectional to the sound of evening rain and ocean breezes, thanks to the sliding doors to the porch. The large windows in the master bedroom also maintain a connection to the outdoors, letting in plenty of light, though we appreciated the ‘black out’ shades of the window coverings in each of the bedrooms. This is the first beach home we have stayed where linens, towels and small toiletry items are provided like a hotel. There is also plenty of storage room for luggage that we noticed in the large master closet. We would have loved to have dish soap in addition to the dishwasher tablets. We also hope next time the emailed instructions can be like bulleted lists having easy-to-follow sub headings versus information buried in text. As for the unit however, don’t pass this one by. You can tell that the owners really care and that the property managers and housekeeping and grounds staff do too! Parking is right outside your lower level front door and amenities are within walking distance.

Search Colony Weekend

Perfect for our birthday getaway! 6 adults. We had a blast and enjoyed the amenities. Great neighborhood for walking, running, and biking. Really enjoyed the screened porch with the strung white lights for evening drinks, conversations and charades. House is close to everything, but in a lovely and quiet neighborhood. We'll be back!

Quiet, good location but feels bit dirty and ant issue

We stayed here as four adults and two toddlers. The unit has an ant problem, especially in the front entrance. The screen door was broken, the outside lights were not working - I did put in a call about both and only the lights were fixed. We also found a bloody pillow in one of the bedrooms. The unit also has a few coffee tables made of glass - definitely not smart to have in a rental unit, especially with children! There is a nice outside area, one part being screened in and the other with a swing, and then another small deck with a picnic bench and grille. The owners of the unit need to give it a little love and make it seem not so dirty - there are also way too many light / fan switches!

fun week, nice unit, except bad beds

space was good and kitchen updated. bathrooms on the older side but fine. the best was the screened in porch which we used often. overall the place was fine except the beds were really hard and extremely uncomfortable. keep this in mind if you have a bad back. but i was more disappointed with the cleaning and maintenance provided by vacasa. the coffee maker was left dirty. No sheets on one bed which we discovered too late on the first night to remedy. the next morning i asked for them to put sheets on the bed and provide extra pillow cases (since many extra pillows in closets but no pillow cases) and a few extra towels. instead of doing that, they left one set of sheets outside our unit and never provided extra pillow cases or towels. A few other minor things they did not fix. But these things did not ruin out stay.

Nice spot

This unit has a nice location. Close to fitness center, tram stops, tennis center, quiet and tucked away. The unit can use some updating. The bathrooms need to be redone, and have a musty odor. There was a serious tiny ant infestation in the cabinets and pantry which needed attention. Besides that the unit was clean and comfortable. Nice indoor and outdoor seating/hang out options. Nice side yard to play or hang out.

So nice - just perfect for our family

This is a lovely place. First floor unit and we could walk out back to nice grill and picnic table which we used! Great screened in porch with comfortable wicker chairs. We sat out here alot! Very close to tram stops and easy one block walk to 2 pools. Everything was nice in the unit - well stocked kitchen, and pristine clean . Really nice !
