Very glad to have had the opportunity to rent here. Itâs wxactly what me and my partner needed. Living on Mill Lane was dreamy. The home is stocked with everything you need and was nicely renovated.
Once we were inside it was exactly as pictured. Very large air conditioned bedroom, gas grill with implements in small outdoor space and futon plus one comfy seat in living room/kitchen area. Spacious closet with hangers and more kitchen implements, pots, pans, glasses, plates etc. than most rentals.
Bed comfortable. Water pressure good. More dishwasher and laundry âpodsâ than promised and extra towels, bedding etc accessible in armoire and closet. All that was good. Location terrific.
However:
They didnât provide specific enough instruction in how to input code to gain entry. Unloading car is best at entrance to unit on narrow street, THEN park car a ways away by decrepit garage on property.
If tenant at main house (Vrbo is an ADU attached to lovely large home on property) had not noticed our strong flashlight trying to figure out where entrance to unit was (we arrived after dark) and offered to help us gain entry, we would have been SOL and very angry.
Advised management company the next day of this initial, terrible, first encounter with the property. Neighbor / long term tenant was very gracious about offering assistance and keeping distance between her dog and our dog.
The other big disappointment was discovering that only the bedroom, not the kitchen/eating/lounging area, had air conditioning. We reserved this location because an unusually hot spell was expected. Lack of proper window coverings (did not shield from sun) and insufficient cooling was uncomfortable
Mill Lane is a gorgeous place that needs options for privacy.

The apartment is very spacious and clean. It has a lot of light day AND night. The big window in the living room could use a curtain for privacy and to offer protection from the street light for anyone using the futon in the living room, or if someone wants to sleep in after the sun comes up and illumine the bedroom through its lovely skylight.
