A stone's throw away from Sitka's most picturesque harbor, this classic 1930s seaside home is perfect for a family wishing to be downtown, or near the harbor for fishing and whale-watching excursions. At night you can hear the faint swoon of the harbor buoys, and during the day see a bald eagle that nests across the street. Pick raspberries and salmonberries in our garden. Borrow the kayaks and paddle with the whales, or take the bikes for a spin!
Rachel was so easy to work with and accommodating. She made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The house had great living quarters that slept 10 of us comfortably. We loved that the house was just a few blocks from town, so we could walk to stores, restaurants, the harbor, National Park, and so on. The only downfall is that there is only one shower, but we made it work! Great spot for a get away with any size group.
