Nicely-decorated 2 bedroom/2.5 bath Portofino on 15th floor in tower 5 - spectacular views of the island and beach from every room! Sleeps 6 with a king in the master, queen in the guest bedroom and a sleeper sofa in the living room.

Designer kitchen with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances, as well as a Keurig and Mr. Coffee coffeemaker. At the end of a sun-soaked day on the beach, relax on a large balcony and cook dinner on the electric grill, all while enjoying breathtaking views of the Gulf, beach and entire island.

Tower 5 boasts its own pool, while the resort offers a sound front infinity pool, lifestyle center with 40,000 sq. ft. workout facility, state of the art fitness center, restaurant, spa facilities and Olympic-sized indoor pool,. Rubico tennis courts also available. Portofino is adjacent to the Gulf Islands National Seashore, offering pristine and undeveloped beaches for your enjoyment.

This was a great spot, amazing development and friendly staff everywhere. Amenities were wonderful. Do teven think twice. If this property is on your short-list, just book it.

Spectacular Views of the Ocean and the Island!!

This Room fit our families needs perfectly. It was clean and well kept. The resort has just about everything you could ever need/want. It’s a Short walk to the pools and quick easy access to the ocean. The views from the room are AMAZING!!!!! My family and I will definitely be back for sure!!!

This condo exceeded my expectations. The view is incredible. Very clean andcwell kept. The only thing that would have improved my stay was if some type of lounge chair was on the patio. Highly recommed this condo.

The rental was perfect with a stunning view of both the beach and bay. We plan to make this a summer vacation every year. Only this I can complain about is some spots were missed on the cleaning. Sticky residue left on night stands/end table/coffee table. Some of the knifes and forks were dirty also. Just be sure to double check everything before you use it!

Breathtaking

First time to Florida very impressed with the views of the water from our 15th floor balcony and at the resort everything was so convenient. There's nothing that I didn't like about being in Florida. Even the heat didn't bother me that much.

Tower 5 has the best vantage point of the island, especially to watch the Blue Angels if you don’t want to be down with the crowds. Our place was clean and well stocked with linens which we really appreciated. The staff was friendly and the elevators were fast and well kept. Loved renting paddle boards and kayak at the beach as well. We have already rented for next year!

The condo was very spacious with wonderful views of the gulf and the bay. Would definitely stay again. My only recommendation is that the main living area of the condo could use some updating. Newer living room furniture and rugs throughout could go a long way. Would stay again!

Great View for Blue Angel Airshow

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time staying in this condo. It had a great view from the balcony for all the Blue Angel practices and even the air show. The master bedroom mattress was not as comfortable as we would have hoped and the kitchen was not well stocked with items needed for cooking etc. However, it was very clean and nice. Of note, there is no k-cup coffee maker, so bring coffee grounds or they serve Starbucks at the main pool building.

June 2022 last minute trip

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We absolutely loved Portofino and this unit. It was our first time visiting Portofino and certainly won’t be our last! This unit was spacious, well appointed, clean, and very comfortable. We absolutely loved the location within Portofino. We were very close to the beach and could see the Tower 5 pool from our balcony. Our only two “issues” were that the Wi-Fi wasn’t very strong (fine for recreation but would have been very tough to utilize for work) and the patio chairs were extremely rusted. Truly everything else was spot on. We’d absolutely stay in this unit again, without question!

Portofino is amazing

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Portofino resort was amazing! The location was just the right amount secluded but also accessible to the city and shopping. The on site restaurants were really good and delivery to your room was fast and decently priced. The view was nice - views from the balcony of both the beach and the bay. AC worked nicely to keep it cool. Cons: When we got there we found it to be a bit dirty... dirty dishes had been put away, scum & a little moldy in the bathroom & shower. Floors were a little sandy, but somewhat expected. I actually cleaned it considerably myself, so probably improved for the next renters. Tower 5 was nice but furthest from beach access and restaurants , so would probably stay at towers 1 or 3 next time.Additionally, when we arrived to check in a little before 5, we find out that the PBH team was literally walking out the door early, even though all paperwork and emails stated they were open until 6pm. Thank God we arrived when we did or who knows how much of a delay would have come to check in. Then the PBH team tells us the emails and paperwork were all wrong, that they always have closed at 5. Mind you, this was around 4:50 and they were closing doors. Not a great start, but thankfully Portofino made up for it. Had to demote 1 star for all the mentioned cons since they were avoidable.

I would also like to clarify that our office hours are until 6 PM, as stated in our communication and paperwork, and our team remained on-site until that time on the day of your arrival. We’re not sure where the confusion may have come from, but I can assure you we did not close early. In addition, we offer late arrival options and provide an after-hours emergency number on both the rental agreement and our office door for any urgent needs. We appreciate your feedback and do hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future.

I did not appreciate not being notified there would be a large (3000) of teens on the property at booking by the property management. This is an annual trip for them and has been happening for 10 years. The property management was not honest with me and failed to remedy any inconvenience we had that week. It was crowded, hard to get on and off elevators at times, noise level, pools were extremely crowded at times as well. I was traveling with an elderly woman with special needs. The teen group was well behaved for the most part. We would have chosen to stay at another location if we had known. We were looking for a quiet relaxed atmosphere. Again, the group was well behave the best they would be. You can imagine the noise level at times. The only complaint I would have about the resort would be the walls are thin. Book direct with resort and skip property management.

Excellent choice for a relaxing vaca

Beautiful, clean condo with excellent view. We have been to Portifino before and always enjoy our stay at this great resort. Expensive but worth it!!
