Our GOLD STANDARD, BRAND NEW 1 Bed/1 Bath condo is part of the up-and-coming Sunset Caribe Belize Resort. You will have the comforts of our full kitchen, living area, spacious master bedroom and most importantly our relaxing balcony. You will have expansive views, overlooking the Cayes or Bayside of San Pedro, from EVERY room. The Sunset views are simply breathtaking. See FAQ's BELOW:
LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION
We are an easy 1.5 mile golf cart ride North of San Pedro. Our resort, Sunset Caribe, is located nicely between the fun of downtown San Pedro and the popular attractions, beach vibes and luxury of Northern Ambergris Caye.
*Please note - The construction of our condo and building is finished. However, there may be construction noise North of our building as they complete the final construction phase in our complex. You may hear construction noise between the hours of 7:00am - 5:00pm. Thankfully, we haven't received any complaints but we want you to be aware. Thanks so much for understanding.
As part of the "Caribeville" community, you will have access to several services.
• The San Pedro Urgent Care building is a four story facility which includes the private clinic offering medical services to the public during regular business hours and 24 hour emergency care to owners and guests.
• The Spa and Salon is also located in the San Pedro Urgent Care building.
• Rain Restaurant (located at the top of the "Rain" building) is known for its outstanding Caribbean and American cuisine with seating in a covered yet open environment. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
• Aqua Restaurant (located inside on the 3rd floor of the "Rain" building) is known for sushi and seafood. Don't miss sushi Wednesday - Sunday!
• Beach Basket Grocery (located on 1st floor of the "Rain" building) is the onsite small grocery store including beer, wine and liquor and is also known for its provisioning services prior to your arrival.
• Sun Brew Cafe - serving specialty coffee, sandwiches, pastries and desserts! Located in the front lobby.
• Fitness Center - the largest gym on the island! Located above the front lobby with beautiful views!

- Where is Sunset Caribe? Sunset Caribe is located on Ambergris Caye, the largest island and primary tourist destination in Belize. San Pedro is the only town on the island and our resort is only 1.5 miles North of San Pedro (a 10 minute golf cart ride).
- What lanaguage is spoken in Belize? The official language of Belize is English. Spanish, Garifuna, Creole, and various Mayan dialects are also spoken.
- What is the currency rate of exchange? The Belize dollar exchange rate is US $1 = BZ $2. Most establishments can change money in small amounts. US dollars are widely accepted if not damaged (written on or torn); US coins are not accepted.
- Does Sunset Caribe accept credit cards? Yes, Sunset Caribe accepts VISA, Mastercard or Discover.
- What kind of electricity is used in Belize? All outlets are 110 volts and 60 hertz, the same as that used in the USA.
- Is Belize drinking water safe? Sunset Caribe has it’s own, purified water source and while many find it safe to drink from the tap or refrigerator dispensers (w/charcoal filters), we encourage our guests to drink only bottled water. - What is Belize's weather like? There are generally two seasons in Belize; Winter Season which is mild and relatively dry and Summer Season which is warmer with more humidity. The official rainy season is June through November. Temperatures on Ambergris Caye are much milder than those on mainland Belize... in the low to mid 80's during the day and high 70's in the evenings. Perfect!
- Are there bugs/mosquitoes in Belize? Yes, Belize is a tropical location. Fortunately, the breezes on Ambergris Caye help to keep them at bay! Sand flies, or noseeums are tiny creatures that bite like mosquitos and may become bothersome with little to no breeze. We recommend traveling with insect repellant.
- What airport do I fly into when traveling to Belize? International guests arriving to Belize will fly into the Philip S.W. Goldson International Airport (BZE) located on the mainland Belize.
- How do I get to the resort? You may take a local 15-minute flight or 90-minute water taxi to San Pedro. Sunset Caribe does not offer complimentary transfers to and from the resort but can reserve all transfer arrangements for you.

We love to visit Ambergris Caye to dive, enjoy the local food, golf cart around the island, rent a boat and boat captain for a day, and share time with family and friends. Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?
We have been to numerous Caribbean islands and keep returning to San Pedro, Ambergris Caye. So when buying a place in the Caribeville community became possible, we didn't hesitate! We feel that Grand Caribe & Sunset Caribe are easily the nicest and best built resorts on Ambergris Caye. The location single-handedly surpasses all others. While San Pedro is a short golf cart ride away, there are several restaurants/bars within walking distance of the condo. We feel that renting a golf cart (the primary mode of transportation) is a must! Exploring all the island has to offer is half the fun! Fortunately, cruise ships only dock at the mainland which we feel preserve Ambergris' laid back setting. You can be as active or as relaxed as you wish. The resort strives to have exceptional service and provide everything you're hoping for in a vacation. So whether you wish to spend the day enjoying the ocean, exploring the island, relaxing at the spa or lounging by the pool the service personnel and tour guides will take excellent care of you!

Our building at Sunset Caribe is the newest building in the Caribeville community. The views from the 5th floor are spectacular! Inside, we've attempted to furnish our condo with all of the comforts and amenities of home. Then we love our custom Belize furniture and artwork from our favorite local artist displayed throughout.
