Secluded + Fire Pit + Game Room. Less than 1 mile to 7 Points
Enjoy this home in the woods with a beautiful open concept where your family can gather together. This home includes a big front deck and a firepit out front. You can slide the garage door open and enjoy playing ping pong or darts in the garage or grab cornhole, can jam, or spikeball and move to the front yard. A relaxing weekend in a home thats located under 5 mi. from the Lake and close to other amenities in the area just might be right for you!
The home accommodates up to 6 guests and has an open concept where all family and friends can gather together. The lake region offers hiking/walking trails, mountain bike trails, boat/jetski rentals, and a beach area to enjoy!
We enjoyed our stay very much. It was conveniently located to everything we needed. Communication was wonderful and they were so accommodating to our needs. We would stay here again for sure!
The house was just as advertised, and in the perfect location for us. The kitchen was well stocked, and the beds were comfortable. The host was great, and provided very clear check in and check out instructions. Very satisfied with our stay.
We had a wonderful stay. We moored our boat down at 7 points. We spent one day boating and the next day mountain biking. The house was clean and cool during the heat wave. We had a nice time eating on the large deck.
The house was exactly as pictured and described. It was clean, comfortable beds, nice decor and best of all it was dog friendly. We went off-season to celebrate my birthday weekend and âunplugâ from the world for the weekend. Great space to do it in and minutes from Raystown lake where we walked our dog. I would definitely rent this place again and maybe try it out in the summer too. Lots of good amenities at the lake from what I could tell. The owners were very kind and responsive to messages as well. :)
We arrived without a stress, everything as described. Directions shared by the host were spot on. No problem finding the place. There was plenty of parking, beautiful fire pit and the best part, quiet! It was peaceful during the day and peaceful during the night. Loved being able to see the stars and hear the nightlife. The kitchen was well stocked with anything we needed to prepare a meal. Plenty of prep space. The grill was filled with propane so we didnât have to worry about that. Grill tools were also available. We enjoyed the ping pong table and there were plenty of balls to continue playing after a bad swing! The rooms are spacious, with mirrors (so someone can use a mirror in bedroom while someone else is in the shower. Nothing bad to say about the place! Great location for seeing all the sites at the lake. Short drives to everything we visited. The host is friendly and excellent with communication. Highly recommended and would stay here again! Loved the cute artwork! We attached just a few pictures of the sites we visited during our stay.
The property was immaculate! Was returning my daughter to college and we wanted to enjoy a nice mini-vacation by Raystown Lake for a few days before saying "goodbye." Michael was a superb host - he took our call when we first checked in, having some questions about a lighting unit in the upstairs bedroom and (yes, no joke) a local barbecue restaurant. Note: The home is a bit isolated, and not in downtown Huntingdon. Ergo - you are there for the lake, and hiking in the woods, and not the city. Enjoy! (and yes, we deinfitely we plan on returning).
We had a wonderful stay visiting family that was staying in the area. The location was secluded and we felt relaxed. Not having WiFi was actually not bad as we watched a movie on the DVD and spent time talking and playing games. Was a bonus to have our dogs with us for the Holiday. They enjoyed the walks.
Our family enjoyed our stay. We found the home to be clean and well stocked with the basic needs. It was private in the woods. The best part is the close proximity to Seven Points Marina.
Lovely cabin as close as you can get to Seven Points! We also had extremely fast responses from the property ownerâŠprobably the best out of all of our VRBO stays. Thanks again; we will definitely be back.
Had a very nice stay with our two adult kids. The house is just as advertised. It is emaculate, very comfortable, quiet. Kitchen is adequately stocked to prepare meals easily. Beautiful Raystown Lake is a very short drive. We would certainly return.
Private property, lots of space between neighbors.
A/C units in each room worked perfectly.
House is updated as shown in photos.
Garage/game room was a hit.
Great rental all around!
If you are looking for a secluded spot with a darling home, look no further. If you respect nature and love the sound of the woods, this is a wonderful place. Enjoying a perfect spot for gathering around a firepit just down in front of home. The home itself is a delite to see when lit up at night. Sitting on the deck to see wildlife. Everything you need is here. The host, Michael is there for every question you have. Pulling a boat in is no trouble at all. A hop, skip & jump to local store, and Seven Points boat ramp. Our family can not wait to enjoy more time here again.
Hello, my name is Michael and I'm your host at Harry's Home Away From Home. This place is a home I grew up going to as I was a child and even into my adult years. My grandfather, Harry, is where it got its name. He loved spending his time at Raystown lake and the house. We would enjoy fires, hiking, and swimming in the lake and we hope to pass on those memories to you, your family, and friends!
This property is a place I grew up going to since I was a young kid. My grandfather Harry is who introduced Raystown to me and ever since, I fell in love with the outdoors and the lake.
The home is deeper into the woods and only located within a 5 minute drive to the lake. The beauty of the woods gives that sense of seclusion and beauty of the starry sky, which I love. The home offers big windows that sit on the front of the house that allow for natural sunlight into the home and clear view of whats out front.
