Adorable, Nantucket-style cottages gathered on the bluffs overlooking the ocean, with Martha’s Vineyard in the horizon, have white picket fences and crushed seashell footpaths, conjuring visions of a by-gone era. Maushop Village is the only community within the New Seabury resort area with deeded beach-rights to its own private, sandy beach dedicated for residents’ sole use.

Bathed in sunlight, our newly renovated cottage - with all-new designer furnishings - is perfectly situated (with a peek at the ocean) as it’s a 1-minute walk to Maushop’s private beach and a 5-minute stroll to festive Popponesset Marketplace (https://www.popponessetmarketplace.com/), the Popponesset Inn, and the exceptional Popponesset Country Club. From sun and sand to mini-golf, summer concerts, ice-cream, lobster rolls, and bike rentals - you’re a walking-path away to endless hours of family fun.

If you’re in the mood to venture further (although we can’t imagine why) Mashpee Commons (https://mashpeecommons.com) is a 10-minute car-ride away and is home to many marvelous restaurants and cafes, one-of-a-kind shops, and entertainment venues to please everyone in the family.  Public golf courses are sprinkled all over the Cape and many are within a 20-minute car-ride away. Cape Cod League Baseball offers baseball at its best and is one town over, as is the ferry to Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket.

Comfortably accommodating 4 guests, the cottage has 2 bedrooms (both on the second floor with balconies - Master has a queen bed and the second bedroom has 2 twin beds), a full bath on the second floor and a ½ bath on the first floor.  A spacious open-floor plan on the first floor ensures no one misses a minute of fun and the charming brick patio with outdoor furniture and a Weber grill is ready for alfresco dining and relaxing in the sun or under the stars.  The cottage is equipped with all the amenities you need and the conveniences you want - from a fully equipped kitchen with KitchenAid cookware and Nespresso Coffee Machine, Serena & Lilly/One Kings Lane furnishings, and Bang & Olufsen Bluetooth speakers to beach chairs and plenty of beach towels - you’ll have everything at your fingertips for a fun filled, hassle-free stay – there’s even a buggy to cart all your beach toys to the water’s edge.
