Sandals Beach House

Welcome home! Put on your sandals and relax. This charming three-bedroom, two bath home is yours to enjoy, with a large back yard and covered area for outdoor dining. The main area has a fully stocked kitchen, separate dining area and living room with a queen-size sofa bed. Two bedrooms with queen size beds in each and a third bedroom with two twin beds. The home is just minutes from fabulous Siesta Key Beach! Often voted the #1 beach in America. It is close to County Waterfront Park, and less than a mile from restaurants and shopping (Starbucks and Costco among them). The community waterfront park is just blocks away, with a covered picnic area and boat ramps suitable for launching your small boat, kayak, or paddle board. The home is in a safe and quiet neighborhood, great for walking and biking. If you do not want to bring your bikes with you, we have two beach cruisers available for you. There is a great biking trail (the Legacy Trail) accessible less than a mile away that will take you all the way to Venice if you so desire. This is a great home base for enjoying all that the Sarasota area has to offer.

The property was locating right in the middle of everything that a guest would need, i.e. restaurants and attractions. The house is very cute and has plenty of space. Genoveva is very nice and responsive.

Exactly what we were looking for!

The house was clean and ready to go for us. Communication with the owner was easy and there were no issues during our entire stay. The house is perfectly located to get to the beach and to all local shopping and restaurants.

So much to love!

The place feels like home. Very neat, clean and cosy. It has everything that you need. Very quiet neighborhood. Close to Siesta Key beach. Geneva is wonderful, she was very helpful to us that made the whole family trip the best experience ever. Will come back next year!

Cozy and quiet

We loved the cozy and quiet cabin. The post and beam Amish built (barn like) construction with the huge fireplace is beautiful. We were there during the second polar vortex of the winter and struggled a bit on our first full day to obtain a comfortable temperature against the cold air, driven by high winds, penetrating wherever it could. But we survived and enjoyed our stay.

Nice home in convenient area of SRQ

We enjoyed our stay at this home which had plenty of room for our family of 4 and small dog. We were down to visit my elderly parents who live nearby and the location was very convenient. There are lots of restaurant and shopping options close by. The fenced in yard was nice for our dog. The host/owner was very responsive by text/phone. My son and nephew enjoyed launching a paddle board at the nearby neighborhood park to explore the bay and paddled to turtle beach by bay.

The house was clean, and well lit. The two bikes were good to have. There seemed to be a leak in the coffee maker, and we would have liked a stopper for the baths. It was quite convenient to "gramma's" place, and we would use it again.

Great Stay in Sarasota

We really enjoyed our 3 week stay at this property. The house is plenty big and roomy. The fenced in backyard was great for our 2 small dogs. We spent a lot of time out there enjoying the weather. The property is close to everything you would need, beach, grocery store, restaurant. The neighborhood was good and not too busy for walking the dogs. We had one small issue with internet connectivity, but it was fixed quickly after a text to Genoveva. She is a great host. Overall, it was a great stay and we would definitely book it again

Great escape from the cold!

We spent 2 months here this winter and loved the house. It is exactly as pictured. Basic items such as toilet paper, paper towels, laundry, dish, and hand soap were supplied which was great! The house's location is perfect for just about anything you might decide to do while in Sarasota. The neighborhood is quiet and safe and a very low-traffic area for walking our dog. Genovese was a superstar property manager and met all of our needs quickly and so graciously! Would have booked again for next year but someone beat us to it!

Nice owner but I don't do Bugs.

Check in was easy. Owner was accessible and kind.However, the Bugs crawling on the kitchen wall, bathroom floor and in the dishwasher. I just cannot handle bugs- especially roaches.The owner sent a pest control to the house, which was good. However, it might have something to do with the neighbors.The left side neighbor had trash in the front yard and at the street, the whole week we were there. There were no signs of moving in/out, so I don't know if this was their normal.

Attention to detail

The property is very nice and described accurately on VRBO. A few minor deficiencies, but it did not affect our stay and management was very responsive. 2 light bulbs over bathroom sink were burnt out, grass was over grown, and the digital keypad on front door was not operating. These minor details should not be over looked and very correctable. Once again stay was great and management was very accessible and responsive.

We'll be Back!

We stayed for 7 weeks and really enjoyed it. Check in was a breeze with the electron door locks. The house had everything we needed. We ran into a couple of issues - needed a new water filter for the fridge and the toilet would not refill so it needed a part. Both times Geneva was very responsive and got us a filter within days and the toilet was fixed in a day. Geneva was very nice and brought us some fruit and water the day we arrived and we would stay here again.

This is a great vacation home close to everything you could ask beaches,restaurants. Very clean and Geneva is a wonderful host. I would definitely recommend this home.
