Cute boutique hotel

Cute quiet hotel with nice warm pool. We liked that they had beach chairs to bring to the beach which was a very short walk. Only suggestion would be to replace the mattress in I believe it was room 5. It’s very sunken in and not comfortable

Hidden gem!

It is a boutique motel with lots of charm. There are many restaurants within walking distance. It was one block away from the beach. We were truly impressed with the cleanliness of the room, the heated pool, and the grounds. Look no further, you will not be disappointed with the stay.

Great place to stay before cruise

This was a great place for us to stay before our cruise. It was the perfect location for us, as well as the accommodations we needed as far as beds, at a great price. It was just as described and very clean. The only downside was the parking situation, which was no fault of the owners. It is just very limited, and if people don’t know how to park correctly, it doesn’t leave enough room for everyone. Other than that everything was perfect!

Sturdier Equipment

There were a couple of issues that I had with my stay. The toilet seat was not securely attached. The other issue is that I wish the bed was sturdier. Depending on where I sat on the bed it was possible the bed could have flipped over. This was my second stay here and I would say my first stay was perfect.

Stayed in room 5. Pros: -Very clean room -Nicely remodeled -Location is awesome, beach and restaurants are walkable. Beach-1block -Hosts are responsive, polite, and willing to help. -Cleaning staff are friendly and very nice Cons: -Mattress was uncomfortable, had big low spot or indentation on one side. -Sink was slow to drain, but not really a problem Overall great experience and would return.

Great room in a great location

My kids and I had a great time staying in this room. Room was exactly as it showed in the pictures and even included a small fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. Best part was it was a three minute walk to a great beach. Also, about 5-10 minute walk to several excellent restaurants. When not at the beach the kids really enjoyed swimming in the pool.

Perfectly Fine

So much to love about this property. The location couldn’t have been more perfect. It was super clean and for a person with minor OCD, everything was well kept and had its place. My kids and I felt safe walking around at night and lastly, we met an amazing woman and her children, which I’m sure we will remain friends for years to come. The room was also perfect for the three of us. It was also clean and very convenient being on the first floor and tucked in the corner (unit 5). The reasons to give the overall score a 4 rather than a 5: The queen mattress was horrible. I swear all of the springs on the right side of the mattress were gone. I read reviews from the past and it had been an issue for several people and never addressed. The closet door was not secured and almost collapsed on my child when opened. The fridge was too small and not very cold. With that said, we loved our stay and would love to stay again next year. Hopefully a few minor upgrades and I’d recommend this property to everyone.

Property was super clean, AC was great the whole time. Loved that we were provided with beach towels and chairs. So close to the beach and great stay for kids. Not noisy all super peaceful. The only issue we had was the lock on the door was weird and sometimes it wouldn’t lock. Def would stay here again!

Loved Deerfield Beach and this property!

Deerfield Beach was a great town and this little hotel "The Shores" was perfect for our stay. The room was just as pictured and we loved having a swimming pool just outside the door to our room. Pool was heated to a nice temp and there is an outdoor (heated) shower to rinse off after the beach. The beach is one short block away and was beautiful. Our room had bath towels and pool/beach towels. Also, there are folding beach chairs under the stairs that we took to the beach. Just one note: The owners emailed our entry code about a half hour before check-in so getting in to our room was a breeze but we wish they had let us know when they'd be sending it to avoid the small amount of confusion we had. Overall, I HIGHLY recommend this beautiful and well maintained boutique hotel. I'd definitely stay here again.
