If you are looking for a true mountain get away experience away from all the hustle and bustle then come unplug and recharge at this unique stream front cabin nestled at the foothills of the 911,000 acres of the Monongahela National forest. Relax while listening to the babbling waters and watching for wildlife. Take a horseback ride through the mountains, cool off in the creek, enjoy a campfire or wet a line in the beautiful native trout stream that runs through the property. Enjoy the deck overlooking the creek or sit in the hot tub and relax. This is truly a peaceful place to relax and enjoy the outdoors.

This was our second time staying at the cabin. My kids looked forward to it for weeks leading up to the stay. My youngest went on and on about how it was the best cabin ever. Had a great, relaxing time. Got lots of family pictures that looked like magazine pics. Lots of options for Christmas cards as well.

This is probably the absolute best Vrbo we’ve ever stayed in. We had the most relaxing vacation! We spent every afternoon/night outside watching movies, making s’mores, soaking in the hot tub, and listening to the creek. The cabin is secluded and peaceful, but we were still able to enjoy local sights and attractions like Cass Scenic Railroad rides, historic Beverly, and the Green Bank Observatory. It was so nice to be able to unplug and relax in this little piece of paradise. We hope to come back!

We had a great time. The cabin is great and the area is beautiful. Loved being able to unplug. Foilage color was beautiful. Holly river state park is beautiful.

Indescribable

This was the best place to getaway for a long weekend. The cabin was nice and cozy. The deck was wonderful- beautiful, relaxing, and so fun. But the nature around us was the best part. The location of this cabin was everything. We will be back and i cant wait!!!!

Very peaceful location. Enjoyed sitting on the deck and hearing the running stream. Cabin was very clean and exactly as pictured. Is very far from the main road (9 miles) but that makes it even more beautiful. Great not having internet or tv!!!

Overall Wonderful Cabin in the Woods

A beautiful secluded cabin. No cell phone service and no wifi. Great place if you want to disconnect. The cabin is about 6 miles off of the main road which doesn't seem far but due to how twisty the road was it took about 20mins. Listing states that there is a subway that is an 8min walk from the cabin...this is very inaccurate. There are no restaurants under 15min DRIVE (let alone walk)...this isnt neccesarily a bad thing but would have been nice for it to be accurate. The road to get there is very narrow and at some points seemed 1 car wide. If you use an updated GPS it will take you right to it. We arrived during a snow storm and the road hadn't been plowed...so 4x4 is a must. We greatly enjoyed the hot tub and the selection of movies available. We wish there would have been a "welcome book" upon arrival so that we could have looked through it to see what all was in the area in terms of food, hiking, etc. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and loved the privacy this place provided.

We have stayed in many VRBO homes and this place was exceptional from the cleanliness to the atmosphere! Our fur babies loved playing in the creek! We loved the fire pits and the hot tub! This home is in a world of its own! No noise from the world just a peaceful, relaxing vacation!

This was our 3rd year at this cabin and it was wonderful as always. We mostly enjoyed the deck, creek and hot tub. Tue seclusion is just what we needed ro unwind. The host is super responsive. We will be back again next year!

Loved the seculed property with the creek next to it, the kids and dogs really loved being able to run around! Hot tub was awsome to hang out in at nite while listening to the creek, and the deck is amazing to hang out on during a rainstorm! Will be back!!

Relaxing

The cabin is beautiful! Location is perfect for a quiet relaxing getaway. Outdoor area is superb! It's a perk when we can travel with our puppy children and have a place for them to walk and enjoy. The host has been extremely nice and answered all my questions promptly. Definitely want to return.

Time Stood Still!

My family booked the cabin for a short, 3-day rest and each day was so full. Packed with coffee in the hot tub, listening to the creek, short or long (depending on mood) walks up the stream while my husband and son fished for native trout. Enjoying meals on the grill, a roaring fire in the pit just outside and movie nights outside on the covered porch with our bodies telling when to sleep and wake. A true gem at the end of the road where life slows to let you savor! Blessed to have visited this special place!

Hidden gem

We absolutely love this cabin. It is very secluded and quiet. We have been staying here for a few years now, and the cabin is very well taken care of and always looks/operates the same as it did the year before. The cabin is cute, cozy and clean inside. However, the outdoor area is the reason we keep returning. We spend most of our time outside when we stay here.We love the hot tub and watching movies on the outdoor tv. Our dogs love it just as much as we do. We cant wait to stay next year!

Awesome visit

This was an awesome cabin. We had a great time. To have such a great time when our children range in age from two and a half to eight year's, my wife and I are very excited in returning again someday when our children are older. My kids all had a great time too. They're reactions from initial arrival throughout our visit was pure excitement like Christmas morning. I would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone looking for peace and relaxation.
