Welcome to the Sea Cabin Condominiums, the most perfect little condo complex in Isle of Palms, S.C., with magnificent views of the Atlantic Ocean and a prime location for experiencing the best of the island life, from local nightlife to ice cream shops. This 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom unit boasts a third-floor location, offering stunning coastal scenery just outside your windows!
Things to know prior to booking your stay: • The Sea Cabin buildings do not have an elevator. Stairs are used to access all units, including some stairs to the 1st floor. • Full Disclosure: There are small bunk beds built into the hallway – they are loved by children. They're also a great place to use for extra storage if not being used for sleeping! They measure 24”x72.5” compared to standard twin size of 38”x75”. • All units are 490 sq. ft. – they most comfortably accommodate 2 adult guests with smaller children. But while they are smaller, they are still 2x the size of most hotel rooms and include a fully functional kitchen! • Please carefully review all photos including the aerial photo that shows the layout of the condo complex to get an idea of where you'll be staying. • Washers and Dryers are located next to the pool on the oceanfront; they are coin operated or download an app to pay! • Parking notes: Each unit is given 1 parking pass. • The community pool is not heated and is usually open year round. • No smoking. A $500 dollar fine will be issued in order to professionally get rid of the odor. • No pets on site per condo regime and condo owner. No exception unless ADA documentation is provided prior to your arrival. A $500 dollar fine will be issued if pet(s) are found on site without proper documentation. • This property is managed by Carroll Realty, located on the island just 1.5 miles from the condo should you need anything during your stay!
When you step into the unit, you'll find a charming entry hallway, with two small built-in bunk beds along the wall. It's a great spot for the kids to claim as their own, and there's a door to close off the space for additional privacy, essentially creating a bonus room! Here you'll also find the full-bathroom, which offers a trendy, clean look and a shower-tub combo.
Journey down the hallway and you'll enter the open concept kitchen, living, and dining area. The entire space offers a redone, polished feel, with a welcoming vibe that invites you to make the space your own beachy home-away-from-home. The fully equipped kitchen is available for all your vacation cooking needs, whether it's simple snacks to pack along to the beach or a home cooked meal with a fresh catch from the complex's private fishing pier. The kitchen also offers convenient counter seating with two stools, and an attractive teal Keurig coffee maker!
The living space is cozy and inviting, with a comfy sofa that folds out into a queen sleeper, should you find yourself needing extra space. A cushy chair perfect for reading sits near the window, and there's a compact dining set just beneath the mounted flat screen TV. Here you can easily eat your meals while putting on your favorite show or set out snacks for a movie night after an eventful day at the beach.
Just outside the living area, through sliding glass doors, you'll find the highlight of the property, the ocean-facing third-level balcony. Furnished with a quaint high-top bistro set, you can spend morning, noon, and night out here, enjoying your favorite beverages and taking your meals with views of the Atlantic. The complex also has use of a shared pool!
Back inside, you'll find the single bedroom, furnished with a queen-sized bed and an ocean-inspired bed spread, along with a mounted flat screen TV, making it the ultimate retreat. This home also includes a UV light and filter in the A/C system for extra air purification!
The Sea Cabin Condominiums are 490 square feet share a Community Pool (including a kiddie pool), Laundry Facility, and also have access to a Private Fishing Pier! These condos are centrally located right on Ocean Blvd which is a great location to be within walking distance to Local Restaurants, Beach Shopping, the county park, ice cream shops, island night life, and more! The Sea Cabin Condominiums are comprised of a three-building complex where all units have private balconies overlooking the beach and Atlantic Ocean. This is also the only lifeguarded area on the island = comfort in safety! Wireless Internet is also available. The complex has a very large pool and a kiddie pool. Come try your luck at fishing from the 1000-foot fishing pier that is only accessible by condominium owners and guests or enjoy a relaxing walk on the pier over the breaking waves.
Bike, water sport and beach umbrella rentals are available nearby. Shopping, dining, ice cream shops, nightly entertainment, grocery store, and post office are a short walk from the complex.
Bed Layout: Bedroom has a Queen Bed with TV. There is a Full size Sleeper Sofa in the Living Room. The hallway consists of a bunk bed built-in to the wall - perfect for small children under 100 pounds!
ALL BED LINENS, KITCHEN TOWELS, AND BATH TOWEL SETS ARE PROVIDED FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE!! You will only need to bring or plan to rent beach towels, chairs, bikes, umbrellas, etc. Also included is a starter set of toiletries such as toilet paper, bath & dish soaps, paper towels, etc. but please do keep in mind you will most likely need to purchase these items after your initial arrival.
This condo also rents in the winter for around $3000/month!! Please contact us if interested.
A few important notes to be aware: NO HOUSE PARTIES. NO SMOKING. NO PETS. No exceptions! There is a very strict noise ordinance policy on the island that goes into effect at 10pm on weeknights and 11pm on weekend nights. The 1 car limit is also strictly enforced. This house is a family rental and is located near year-round residents. This is not a rental home for bachelor/bachelorette events, wedding groups, youth groups, fraternities/sororities, receptions, or any other types of larger gatherings. We do NOT rent to students or anyone under the age of 21 - no exceptions - even if a parent or legally responsible adult makes the reservation. If such a group occupies or attempts to occupy the property, they will be required to immediately vacate and there will be NO refunds given. Further, this home is strictly a non-pet friendly home. Guest will be fined $500 if a pet is found to be on the property at any time.

We had a great time! We had everything we need for the weekend. Everything we needed for the weekend was provided for us. Just be aware there is no elevator and we were on the 3rd floor. Somehow I missed this when I booked. We stayed anyway and made it work!

Very nice place to stay. Great beach access and walking distance to eating and night activities. The only complaint would be that the mattress was so hard we had to buy a foam topper just to be able to sleep on it. The pillows were useless and worn out. A few dollars spent there would make a big difference in the overall enjoyment. Otherwise-a great place.

Nice enough place for a long weekend. Can walk to the beach, stores and restaurants within a few minutes. I personally would not recommend it for the six people it says it will sleep, you would literally be tripping over each other.

Hi Charles - thank you for the review and comments. I actually edited our listing about a week ago to say 4 capacity - even though technically it will sleep 6. I personally wouldn’t recommend 6 adults either - these units are 500 sq ft! And the bunk beds are really only for children.

This little place was perfect for a couple of days at my favorite beach. While I would call the decor nostalgic, it was very clean, the bedding and towels were excellent quality and the place had everything we needed. The location is EVERYTHING--It is rare to find such a value right on any beach. Thank you to Carroll Realty!

Place is fair. Older building. Needs a little updating. Bunk Beds for small adult, child but not very wide. If child sleeping in bunkbed, bring a portable rail to put on side of bed so they don't fall out. Good location. Very small condo but ok for 2-3.

Great view - refrigerator situation
This is our second time staying in this complex and love the location. The view was great but the refrigerator and freezer had a strong fish odor. It seems that someone must have caught a fish off the pier or beach and stored in the refrigerator. We could not get the odor to subside. Cleanliness of the unit was not great but not too bad. Very limited paper products and trash bags so had to buy out own on day two. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay.

Down side is the large parking lot between you and the beach. The amount of cigarette smoke, voices and car alarms being set takes away from the beach vibe, bigtime.
Kitchen lacks basics such as ability to store any food. No tupperware or plastic bags or condiments, just some basics would be fine? Just know if some peace and quiet is wanted this is NOT the place. Location is cool due to the beach but its a very very busy place.

Great location!
This is the second time that we have stayed at Sea Pines. This unit was VERY clean! One of the cleanest properties that we have ever stayed in. A short walk to the beach. The property and pier were clean and well maintained. The unit is on the third floor which we knew beforehand and were prepared. The bathroom looks to be recently updated. The kitchen had everything that we needed. The unit was well stocked with soap, paper towels, etc. to get us started.
I gave the unit three stars because of the condition of the unit. My daughter and I had our allergies flare up and had take medication after the first day. It was extremely musty. It smelled like the air conditioning had been turned off for a while, and the unit had been simmering in the humidity. The couch, living room chair, the bunk bed mattresses, the pull out couch mattress, and the mattress on the bed were all musty and moldy smelling. The sheets and blankets were fresh and clean, but they were overpowered by the musty smell. We used Febreeze but it did not help since the smell was embedded. The refrigerator and the range hood were both rusty. The wallpaper was stained and smelled. The air coming out of the air conditioner smelled.
Since I live in the South and am used to the humidity, I know that you continually have to keep the moisture in check. This unit is too moist and needs to be better maintained. The unit that we stayed in last time was not this musty, so it is the unit not the building.

Cancellation Policy: Reservations made and cancelled within 24 hours will be refunded in full. After 24 hours, our cancellation policy goes into effect. Reservations cancelled 6 months prior to arrival will be refunded in full. If a reservation is cancelled less than 6 months prior to arrival, a full deposit refund less a $100.00 booking fee will be made only if the unit is re-rented for the same time and price, and at a pro-rated rate if only rented for the partial amount. The guest will be responsible for the difference in price if re-rented at a lower rate. We do offer and strongly encourage every traveler to purchase travel insurance as well for an added 10.8% or 7% charge depending on which plan you select. If accepted, the 10.8% travel insurance plan must be paid in full within 14 days of making a reservation or you may add the 7% plan up until 30 days prior to your arrival date or final payment is paid, whichever comes first. Travel insurance covers every guest scheduled to come on the trip. Please call us for more information or visit our website for detailed plan information. Upon arrival, if you do not accept the unit you have reserved your deposit will be forfeited.
Power/ weather related cancellation: Carroll Realty does not issue refunds due to acts of nature such as: weather, road conditions, snow conditions, power outages, or forest fires. Additionally, Carroll Realty will not issue refunds in the event of a pandemic (for example, Covid-19) or acts of nature such as a hurricane. In light of these events, we strongly urge every reservation to purchase one of the two travel insurance plans that we offer. Hurricane season technically runs from June through October, but is especially more prone to occur in our area from late August through early October.
