The cottage is welcoming and allows for a family to be together and yet enjoy the peaceful solitude of Lakeside. The street in front is flat and great for playing catch or riding scooters and bikes so children can stay close by. Enjoy the playground and open space just across the street from Cherry Park!

Lakeside Chautauqua is a gated community during its summer season and provides amazing daily programming to nurture the mind, body, and spirit of visitors of every age. Lakeside Chautauqua is a step back in time to a place where values, traditions, and family remain the focus.
During the summer season, the community includes seminars, downtown shopping, restaurants, movie theatre, parks, beach area, splash water pad for kids, swimming pool, sailing, paddleboards, playgrounds, basketball, tennis (clay and hardcourt), mini-golf, shuffleboard, art classes, worship services, picnics, a variety of exhibits and art shows, ice cream, coffee shop and nightly entertainment. There truly is something for all ages. Bicycles, golf carts, and walking (especially a stroll down Ohioâs Most Beautiful Mile along the Lakefront) are the main modes of transportation at Lakeside.
PLEASE NOTE: When staying in Lakeside during its summer season, generally Memorial Day through Labor Day, all guests ages 12 and up will be required to purchase daily or weekly passes. Details are available here: http://www.lakesideohio.com/passes.
Rentals are for a one-week minimum during the official Lakeside Chautauqua season from mid-June through Labor Day. Partial weeks or long weekends are available in the off-season (before Memorial Day and after Labor Day).
