Casa Toros boasts THE BEST VIEWS AND AMENITIES with nature at your door. A panoramic 360 views of all Cabo Pulmo and the National Park. Our private apartment is nestled on hillside and features spectacular sunrises and sunsets over the Baja hills. Whales and rays can be seen from the deck. Birds to watch fly down to you. Snorkel is only a 05-minute stroll to the beach, the Park dive shops, restaurants, bike and ATV rentals. A 10-minute walk leads you to trails for hiking and biking. Tennis courts are available.

I was very happy with my short stay at this property. The Host was very helpful and kept me informed of any changes that might occur. I would recommend this stay for those who love the beauty of nature and simply enjoying the area.

The view from the outside kitchen / patio beautiful, very private. You see almost 180 degrees of sea, mountains, cactus. Outdoor shower lovely. Caretaker very responsive. Easy access to beach, snorkeling tour, a couple nice restaurants. Minor issues: We had to call for hot water heater to be turned on . Why not agree on time? Gray water tank leak. Empty tank prior to visit? Need bedside lamps or night lite. Clean silverware containers.

The host was not available during my stay and many of the issues were not addressed. Cabo Pulmo is a beautiful place and there were some good views from the property, but the property was unsanitary, bug-infested, lacked running water during my three day stay and was too hot to sleep at night. Highly agitated dogs went bezerk every time I entered and left the property. Once they knocked over some glass item that cam crashing down into the walkway.

We love this place!

This place is pure magic. So chill and Junior is a great host. The bed was really comfy and the family hikes, trail run and snorkelling is bueno!

Very quiet and relaxing

Quirky space, deeply quiet, and Junior was an excellent host. Seeing the sunrise every day over the Gulf of California was a wonderful way to unwind.

The best things about this place involved the location. It was so quiet and the night skies were stupendous. We very much appreciated the lounge chairs provided for watching the stars. The absence of barking dogs and crowing roosters was positively unMexican and being a 10 minute walk away from the cacaphony of compressors amd generators in the town was a relief. Having a kitchen to cook the groceries our host recommended we buy in San Jose del Cabo was very necessary considering the exorbitant prices of restaurant meals.Playa de los Arbolitos is only a 15 minute drive where we paid 50 pesos to see the same territority that people were paying tour boats more than 500 pesos to go. Every day, we snorkelled for 2 hours covering at least a kilometer, one day experiencing the clearest water we have ever seen. The breezes were lovely in the casita's outdoor area and the sunrises were beautiful. The view is limited by some bushes that need cutting.The biggest negative to our experience was the heat in the bedroom which had very little ventilation and even with 3 fans going was impossible to cool. Maybe in cooler weather this wouldn't be such a problem? The solar system could do with an upgrade as it couldn't handle even one cloudy day and the grey water recepticle under the sink could be larger and better sealed. It needs dumping every day or else it stinks or, even worse, overflows. All considered, we would rather have stayed at Junior's than anywhere in town.

Great views

This was a perfect place to stay, since we had a rental car. Junior is a good host who doesn’t get in your way yet. If you need him he’s available. We are hoping to return some day. It’s just a five minute drive to the dive shops of Cabo Pulmo.

I stayed in the same room 2 1/2 years ago. On the good side, the room is very large. The view is nice. I enjoy the outside kitchen area. There was a lot of problems with water. Mainly the toilet would always be leaking so it had to be shut off by hand between flushes. Secondly and most important there was no one there, and we had zero water when we came back from swimming in the sea. I waited a couple of hours thinking the owner would come back. When he didn’t return, I sent him a text and he quickly texted me back that his property manager forgot to turn the water back on. That’s all I got there was no somebody will come and turn it on or how to turn it on so we were just left with salt water on us. Fortunately, after dark, I happen to see that there had been some 5 gallon jugs of drinking water dropped off so we use that to rinse ourselves and have enough water for that night as we were leaving in the morning. The place was definitely not as clean as it was the last time. Again the owner blamed it on the people he hires to do the job. I wrote to him after we left that he’s the captain of the ship and he needs to take responsibility. Didn’t get much of a response to that one. Good luck I’ll never return again.

Little piece of paradise

Amazing little private place. Love the outdoor kitchen and shower. Short walk to little town with about 4 restaurants so not much choices. Bring your food and drinks if you want anything else as there is t much here. We never locked our doors. Super safe to walk around. Beaches to explore are absolutely amazing. Junior has everything you need for the beach and snorkelling. Superb. Super comfy beds and great wifi. So quiet and peaceful.

Unfortunately the owner was not well due to a medical condition. The first night was told that I was not at the right property. I was able to confirm the next day that this was not the case but no longer felt comfortable staying at this location.

Very nice place in paradise

The host is the best! So kind and helpful. He really really went above and beyond. Coming from a world traveler he is one of the best hosts we have ever had. The city is tiny but great. The nature is amazing. Do yourself a favor and come see for yourself!

Comfy, great views, relaxing, perfect host

The home is a few minutes walk from the village, and is in a peaceful neighborhood. We enjoyed the shaded patio where many birds visited and the plant life was abundant. There were comfortable chairs. The bed was excellent and we slept very well. The shower, outdoors, was a treat, with plenty of hot water, which was welcome after our snorkeling outing. Our host was always available to us for questions or requests. We'd stay again in a heartbeat!

Amazing sky & sea view!

We stayed in Cabo Pulmo 2 days / 2 nights for diving. Junior is very friendly and welcoming, he takes care of any guests, he has a lot of beach stuff that you can enjoy for your stay. He explains everything about the rules and conditions in the park. Air conditioning doesn't work anytime because of energy restrictions and it could be difficult during the night (we were in August) despite the fans. Anyway, Cabo Pulmo and the nights on the rooftop to see the stars is just magical!

Needs a lot of TLC

Ideal location for a peaceful stay -- no city noise or barking dogs. But the grounds are littered with junk and we encountered maintenance problems in the unit we rented on the ground floor. Communicating with the property owner requires Whatsapp. We often lost water pressure and the on-demand water heater works poorly (cycles between burning hot and cold water). Nearby septic tank releases fumes that spoil the outdoor porch experience. The owner is friendly and responds to complaints that could be avoided with a little TLC invested in this place.

Had to leave 2 nights earlier.

No AC at night. Imposible to sleep inside without AC. The place supposed to have Air conditioning but not all the time, the owner said that was normal in cabo pulmo, but we ask around the people say it was a lie. So we move to another place and no problem with AC. The owner said he will reimburse money but that never happened.

Amazing Views. Right in the Baja Desert. It's Magical at Times.

First off I have to say that the property manager Junior is a super host. Anything you want, need or any questions you have he wants to know about them and try to accommodate you. He lives in the main house, but respects your privacy and works with you directly or through texts or whatever your preference is. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed having the shower and kitchen outside. It just works there and adds to the overall wonderful experience. It looks just like the pictures and being there is just special. Being right in the desert means you get critters. Some good and some not as good, but I didn't have any problems with the not as good. It's an easy walk into town or to the beach, but for hauling stuff a rental car helps. One of my best VRBO experiences. I can't wait to go back.

Gorgeous views and peaceful location

Junior is an excellent host - communicative and attentive. It was our second visit to Cabo Pulmo and we enjoyed being just up the hill with beautiful views and desert serenity. Just a short walk into town but we used our car to transport gear to the beach. We really appreciated the gear available for us to borrow - chairs, snorkels, umbrellas, everything we needed. The room was clean and pleasant, for 4 people it might not be big enough for longer stays, but for a few nights it was great. If you are particularly tall (or creaky), be aware that the beds are a little short, but again, it was fine for our short stay. Junior gave us great advice about nearby beaches - much appreciated. Surprisingly good wifi - the teens were happy, and truly the best views in Cabo Pulmo!
