Great experience. It is a tipi, and there were some bugs. Our Granddaughters loved it, it was the best part of their trip they said. We stayed 2 nights.Lee is a very gracious, kind, and interesting man. A beautiful setting!
Staying in a tipi was a rare and fun experience. The host was more than kind and welcoming and though the accommodations were rustic, that was what added to the charm. It was a delightful stay in a quiet safe area.
I enjoyed my stay at Leeâs place. The Teepee was quiet, clean and I slept well. Definitely would recommend to anyone in the area. Will look forward to staying again!
Loved this stay in Bigfork! The amenities and tipi were simple, but comfortable! A great way to slow down and enjoy the view. The cots were also surprisingly comfortable!
The tipis were a fun experience to add to our National Park adventures! Lee was an amzing host, very accomodating to our needs. Bigfork is a cool place to visit and hang out as well.
It was rustic as advertised. The cots were comfy but more importantly the setting was magical. The stars came out and took our breath away, the backdrop of the tipis was awesome! Would love to stay again!
Close to town! Great host! Lee was beyond accommodating! We met the property cat, I think his name was Kit. We stayed in the teepee & it was so much fun! Loved the experience! The location was quiet & beautiful view! Would definitely recommend!
Novel way to camp. Beds and linens provided. Bathroom and wash up sink. Didnât take showersâ donât remember if listed. Didnât see one. Stayed warm and dry in spite of thunder showers and wind. Would do again.
A single outlet to be able to charge phone would be nice especially since there is no lighting option in the tipi besides our cell phone flashlight. We didn't think to bring an actual flashlight or lantern.
Alles schief gelaufen! Expedia, Ihr habt das Gekd nicht verdient!
Lee, the owner, was terrific and helpful. We stayed in the main house (see review) and rented two of the tipees for my son and his friend. They loved the setting and the outside shower.
Loved the tipis! It rained the whole time we were there so it did drip, but otherwise was a great stay! There is a toilet, but not a shower so couldn't stay for too long. The owner was so kind and was very flexible with helping us out when our tipi dripped!
There were no clear instructions, so I had to go around the property for half an hour. I think the landlord should give step-by-step guide how to get there. Fortunately he quickly responded my call.
But... it was very cold at night. Like you sleep in the street you know. I had my sleeping bag, but still freaking cold!

Owners cat defecated and peed in out tipi
The owners cat was on the bed when we arrived, my son is highly allergic and the website mentions nothing about cats having free reign. He/she defecated and peed in our Tipi. My husband and son had to sleep in the truck and we did not stay at all the second night, several attempts to contact owner went unanswered, no refund, apology etc.
Four of us stayed in two of Leeâs tepees. It was our first time sleeping in a tepee, and we were blessed with a beautiful night sky visible through the open flaps at the top. Great location - minutes from Big Fork, but remote enough to feel like youâre at a primitive camp site far from the city.
