Tara and her family were good guests. They were proactive about issues at the home and followed instructions to fix it. They left the home neat and tidy.’we would love to host them again.

PERFECT!

Anita and Alok were excellent hosts!! Their beach home is beautiful! You cannot beat the location!! Steps away from the beach and a pool! You definitely get the best of both worlds. My family and I would absolutely stay again, we had a wonderful time!

Great experience

The house is beautifully located on a private street with private beach access that was so wonderful for my family. The pool was a wonderful addition. The hosts are very accommodating and communication was smooth. 10 out of 10 recommend.

Great time!

My family and I had a fantastic time. The location is perfect. Easy access to point pleasant or seaside boardwalks. Close to parks and ice cream places for the kids. The space is open, views are beautiful, beach is quiet, pool is warm. Minor cons: we couldn’t get the grill to work, the cleaning company could’ve done a better job, we spent time cleaning I up when we first got there, and the stay before us (or multiple stays before us) didn’t put out their garbage so we had a mountain to put out. Also, they keep the house super warm and it keeps automatically going up but the host got back to me quickly about that. Overall we had an amazing week there and I cannot wait to go back!! My kids haven’t stopped talking about it since we left!

Dear Meredith - Thank you for your review. I am so glad you enjoyed your stay. The home is perfectly located to many attractions and am so happy you were able to enjoy all the amenities and attractions. Apologies about the automatic nest heating that may have kicked-in at night. You do have access to all the control at the home as well and can over-ride the settings. Also we did relay to our cleaning crew to make sure they take out the garbage. They unfortunately do not clean outdoor grills and we expect guests to clean-up after themselves. Looks like you might have had a messy guest before you. Seeing how much you and your family enjoyed your stay - We would love to invite you to stay again. Regards, Anita

Perfect location, beautiful property

The location of this rental home cannot be beat - the beach is essentially one house away, and the walk over the dunes to the water is very short and easy. (One of our party is visually impaired and another was recovering from surgery, so the shorter the walk, the better!) The pool and pool area were a perfect alternative to the beach in rougher weather. The neighbors on the private street were very friendly and welcoming. Finally, the home itself is lovely, with gorgeous views and ample room, privacy, and gathering spaces for our large party spanning ages 2 to 78. Highly recommend!

Rented with High Expectations BUT Disappointed

The positives are the house iand views of the ocean were beautiful BUT was sorely disappointed less than 48 hours prior to our arrival that we were notified after I requested the access codes to enter the house, that the heated pool was now not going to be open due to an alleged electrical grounding issue. We were also told not to go on the pool patio due to this issue which could have been a safety issue for us. Although we were only 500 yards to our private beach for the development we were staying in, we were all thoroughly looking forward to hanging out by our own pool on lounge chairs. The owner did respond somewhat quickly when requesting updates but was told this was probably not going to get resolved while we were there and it wasn’t. In addition and wasn’t owners fault, due to Tropical Storm Henri, there were stinging flies all over the beach during our whole time there. The owner did eventually give us a refund of 40% (originally only wanted to offer 25%) but we were surely looking forward to enjoying the pool which was one of our top priorities. We did appreciate the refund which was the right thing to do after showing our strong disappointment as we really wanted the pool most of all which is why I rented a house with one.

Amazing Dream Beach Vacation!!!!!!

Absolutely fantastic!!!! The owner was terrific. She was accommodating and very easy to communicate with. Her home was beautiful and clean, kitchen was well stocked with everything needed. Proximity to the beach was impeccable. The beach was clean with soft sand and the water was beautiful and clear. Beautiful pool area. Driving to the boardwalk restaurants , shops and supermarket was a breeze . Everything within 10-15 min drive. Definitely a dream beach vacation!!!! We are already making plans for our next trip there.

Definitely returning next summer

The property looks as listed and the beach is much more accessible. The pool was clean and spacious and beach was super convenient and beautiful. Theresa’s South was delish and you are within a ten minute drive of Jenkinsons/ Seaside attractions.

The Dream Beach House was even better than expected! Neat, clean, beautifully decorated. You’re right next to a walk on the beach - it was like having our very own private sanctuary! Kitchen had all the utensils needed and the balcony was a favorite. Host was very communicative and quick to answer any questions. You must stay here to truly get the best of the Jersey Shore!

Mary was an amazing guest, super sweet and very easy to communicate the details. She used only part of the home over a Mother’s Day weekend and was extremely tidy and responsible. I look forward to hosting Mary again in the future if she wants to repeat her enjoyable experience.

A couple years ago (and fortunately for us before the Pandemic) we combined these two hobbies by buying this shore property which we could visit more often. We are sharing this beautiful family vacation home when we are busy with work and business and cannot be there to enjoy all this gorgeous home has to offer. You will feel like you are visiting your best friends home when you visit and stay in this well equipped home.

It is a short drive from NYC and Newark Airport and is an island off the mainland. This reduces tourist and rowdy crowds for a more tranquil and fun filled family vacation.

Private beach and inground heated pool. Short walk or drive to area restaurants and all the beach action you could ever desire.
