This property has the quintessential Cape Cod style with sprawling lawns, a large deck, and classic details not found in modern homes.

House features include eight bedrooms, five and a half baths, four decorative fireplaces, a recreation/game room, living room, kitchen with stainless steel appliances and ample dining areas, plus a furnished waterfront deck and patio area. Enjoy direct access to the water on the private beach behind the house for swimming and water sports! This estate's unusually large lot offers unprecedented space and privacy for this area.

Monthly, weekly or weekend bookings are offered. Great location for corporate events, bridal/baby showers and hosting family get-togethers. Please inquire about possible associated special events fee depending on your type of gathering.

Very relaxing

Our family enjoyed a week at this fantastic property. We spent a lot of time on the private beach enjoying a lot of fun and sun. The property manager was easy to communicate with prior to starting our vacation and the property was exactly how they portrayed it in the listing. We will be back.

Fabulous place for a family reunion

This is a great location right on the water of Buzzards Bay. The house is very spacious and well-equipped. The manager was helpful and quick to respond to questions. If you are looking for a place to host a group, I highly recommend this rental !

Lovely spot right on the water

There was plenty of space for our group to feel together but not crowded. The beach is a short walk across the lawn, and the water and the air were so warm we didn’t even take towels. The house retains its 1920’s charm while being sufficiently updated to make everyone comfortable. The owner responded quickly, which made the few tiny glitches very minor (we had to wait to have a bonfire because there wasn’t enough firewood, but seriously, not a problem). We had a really nice stay!

Great Place

The property was beautiful and the view is great. Very convenient place for family and friends stay. Property manager was so responsive and friendly. Got to meet him in person and received a very welcoming and friendly behavior which was even great. The property’s description on the listing vs. the actual service and place matches and is very satisfying. Will visit again. To sum up, it’s worth every spent and very reasonable. Looking forward to another trip. Thanks to the host. Great job!

We had an amazing experience at this property hosting a party to celebrate our post pandemic wedding. The property was perfect and our guests enjoyed the large yard and access to private beach. Would love to return to this property in the summer months. Just beautiful.

Buzzards Bay

Our family of 14 had a wonderful vacation! The location was private but within a short driving distance to amenities. The setting and views were magnificent! The private beach was great and the kayaks were a fun addition!…but for the price, the home is in need of maintenance, updating and tender, loving care. We did have a great time and loved the area - also toured the Cape, Providence, Newport and Boston. All easy to get to!

Excellent July 4th weekend stay!

Our family of six had a great stay at this property. The house is very spacious and clean. Easy access to private beach provided the privacy we needed. Kitchen and bathrooms are very well stocked. Kids enjoyed the canoes and game room, while the grownups had a relaxing time. Everyone had enough personal space. We would definitely book the house again next time we are in the area!

Sibling Reunion/ Memorial

Eight siblings and the house was perfect for our reunion. We had plenty of space to hang out in different rooms, even if you wanted to have quiet time for yoga! The view was amazing and everything we need was there! We had a memorial for our Dad, and the sunroom was perfect for it, and the large dining room. We will always treasure the memories from our stay there.

Terrific location, plenty of space, very, very comfortable. Small leak in an upstairs water pipe was resolved by calling in a plumber for quick fix.

Big house, amazing view; under delivered

My family had a nice stay at this house and it met our base needs, but it lacked in many nice to haves that would be fixed with more diligent care or planning. Some of the linens were stained, it would be nice if hand towels, wash cloths, and dish towels were provided in the numbers needed. There is DIY electrical that doesn’t seem to code. One bedroom door won’t close and latch. Others will stick shut. Towel hooks are broken and not fixed. They kitchen layout and tools while there is slapped together. The dishwasher has several broken parts. It’s an old house with an half hearted upkeep and furnishing effort. But still a great site for a reunion as the water views are amazing.

Perfect house for a large gathering

Sixteen of us arrived on Friday night. There was plenty of room for all of us to spread out as well as gather. The house is beautiful and the scenery was perfection! It rained all day on Saturday but we still had fun puttering around the house and enjoyed each other’s company. On Sunday we got to enjoy the great weather and gorgeous backyard and beach. The only thing I can suggest is to supply a few more things in the kitchen like measuring cups, a hand mixer, masher, and pans that are in better shape. It would have made cooking for our large gathering a little easier.

Wonderful!

Although Hurricane Ophelia messed with the weather while we were there we still had an amazing trip. The home is located on 8 acres of ocean front property and the views were amazing. We weren’t able to spend much time outside but the grounds were beautiful. It’s an older home with a few glitches but the owner responded quickly to a couple of issues we had. The owner even came by to make sure we had all we needed and offered suggestions for restaurants, etc. We had a fantastic Cape Cod experience. We went whale watching, on a train tide, drove to Providence and all over the Cape and did a guided tour of Martha’s Vineyard. It was a memorable week and thus home was a great gathering place.

Great Family Time

Seven adults and four children ages 7, 5, 2, and 1 enjoyed being together in this large home right on the water. House had plenty of rooms, bathrooms, amenities but lacked the one thing I considered “essential” and that was “central air conditioning”. Listing said “air-conditioned” but that translated “window air conditioners”- so, not what I was expecting. We all had a great time anyway.

Wonderful in Wareham

In the past, our family has vacationed in the Finger Lakes region of New York state or on Lake Anna in Virginia. We decided to try something different this year and were very glad we did. The home was quite spacious and we really enjoyed the deck where we could catch the serenity of the beautiful mornings. Being in such close proximity to the little private beach area was also a plus. The grandkids especially loved that the water was so calm they could enjoy their paddle boards. There was plenty of room for all of us so none of us felt crowded. Having an extra refrigerator was a welcomed addition as the "warm weather" drinks could be kept out there and not take up all the space in the kitchen fridge. We were very fortunate to have beautiful weather the whole week we rented the house. We all were fascinated with the railroad bridge that we could see from the property which would go down if a train was approaching then go back up and wait until another train would come. There was so much in the area to explore as well. We have talked about renting the home again next year.

Terrible communication. House was not yet ready for 16 people.

Property has been nicely upgraded, for the most part. New windows, baseboard heat, kitchen appliances. The setting is beautiful and private. However, a couple of the bathrooms have no towel rods or space for toiletries. Not enough wine glasses, plates, serving bowls, pots & pans were there to service our group of 7, let alone 16. We had to buy glasses, pans, bowls, etc. for our stay. What was there was cheap, and not at the level that one would expect to see in a house that rented for $1400 per week. Inside the dishwasher on the glasses rack was cloth insulation , probably from a troubled installation. When we tried to start the gas grill, the battery in the starter was dead and no other AAA batteries were in the house. The house is nicely furnished with new furniture. Cellophane wrapping was still on several lamp shades. Wifi worked fine, and the lawn was well maintained. Had considerable difficulty reaching the manager. We were referred to the app for communications, but we could not find our property reservation on the app, and could not get answers to questions, despite several hours of effort. I have rented vacation houses for 35 years and this was my worst experience with property managers. Every other time the manager has been at the house to greet us, or arrived soon thereafter. We have always found a guest book explaining how things in the house operate, and identifying places to shop, restaurants, things to do, etc. There was nothing in the house

We use a professional cleaning service that also disinfects all high traffic areas (doorknobs, light switches.. etc.) All linens and towels are thoroughly cleaned between each rental.
