You can hop on the Summit Stage (free bus), with a stop only a block away, and head to all the county has to offer! The major premiere ski resorts are all within a short drive: Keystone (20 minutes), Arapahoe Basin (25 minutes), Loveland (21 minutes), Copper Mountain(20 minutes), and Breckenridge (30 minutes) and Vail (40 minutes). Summer brings the numerous trails for hiking, biking or cruise down to Dillion Lake for some boating, sailing, kayaking, or paddle boarding or just a moment to reconnect with nature. Don't miss out!
SUMMIT COUNTY SEASONS
November - April (Skiing/Tubing/Snowmobiling, and other snow activities
Mid April - Early June (Mud/Off-Season. Most of the County and resorts will be very quiet, but is a great time to rest, hike, bike, and enjoy the mountain views at great discounted rates)
Mid June - Labor Day (Boating, Sailing, Golf, hike, biking, alpine slides, go-carts, rock wall, mountain coaster, bumper boats, and more-Weather Dependent)
September - October (Off-Season. Summit County and the resorts will be very quiet, but is a great time to watch the aspen trees change (our favorite), rest, hike, bike, and enjoy the mountain views at great discounted rates)
