We were very pleased with everything! Location is greatâŠ.the house was well equipped with everything you need for a week at the beachâŠ.beds were comfortable
Every thing (furniture /fixtures) is very dated and dingy. The master bed is 30â high - ridiculous. Cleaning service did a great job considering what there was to deal with. Lighting / electrical wiring is sketchy. Bedding comforter sets are nasty, washer and dryer are rusty and smell like mold, the master bathroom tub is narrow, the bathroom fixtures are old, decks and boardwalk to beach are dry rotted with nail pops all over.
A beautiful place, clean and updated with plenty of space for the family to relax. The view is wonderful. The master bedroom is so spacious with private deck and ocean sounds when you crack the door. Peaceful and quiet. Across the street is a homey cafe with great breakfast/lunch and kayak/surfboard rental. The kids had a personal kayak tour and then a one on one surf lesson right on our part of the beach. We parked and didn't have to drive for the whole stay. We did not see any bugs or other concerns. Boogie boards and beach chairs are stored next to the garage and outdoor shower.
Location was nice but some of the property was a little outdated and in need of repairs (deck boards, showerheads, 1 toilet constantly running, beds uncomfortable and squeaky, master bedroom deck is loose on one end), and there wasn't a linen bag provided as expected so this was an issue at check out. Overall the place is decent but they expect you to clean up thoughly even though you pay a hefty clean up fee.
Pluses: steps to the beach, beautiful sunrises, updated condo, one mile walk to boardwalk and Britts donuts, contact free entry with electronic keypad, linens included. Negatives: very small master bathroom, very small bar style eating area and counter area each made for 4, older, rusty, washer and dryer, needing replacing. Dryer not vented properly causing fire alarm to sound when used. Palmetto bugs a problem. Several seen inside condo (kitchen counter, hallway near laundry closet, master bedroom dresser). When reported to management company at the end of our stay was assured dryer would be checked as it is a safety issue and having palmetto bugs are "very common". Management company stated we should have informed them of the bug problem and washer/dryer issues during our stay. As a very clean, bug adverse person I would be uncomfortable having my family stay at this property again.
