Menlo Park House dispose de 4 chambres (1 lit king, 3 reines), 2 salles de bain et 2 cuisines. Il y a un canapé-lit dans le salon si un 5ème lit supplémentaire est nécessaire. Pour vos besoins de détente, il y a un bain à remous pour 6 personnes dans l'arrière-cour. Les locataires utilisent le spa à leurs propres risques et sont responsables de tout dommage ou dommage corporel.

La maison a une cuisine spacieuse et un salon confortable. Chaque chambre dispose de lits luxueux et de chambres décorées avec goût. Le pont arrière a une table parapluie avec des sièges confortables afin que vous puissiez profiter d'un dîner en plein air!

The photos do not do the place justice. The yard is immaculately maintained and absolutely stunning. We really enjoying hanging out there and in the hot tub. Would definitely return!

Work Retreat

What an adorable and cozy home on a beautiful tree lined quiet street! Six coworkers all coming from different parts of the states met up for three days and two nights. Everybody was so comfortable and had space of their own.

Ideal

This place worked perfectly for our family. My parents in their 80s were staying with us as well, and there was enough space for them to have their own peace and quiet apart from the rest of us. The yard was ideal for our family dinners, and the neighborhood is lovely. Communication with the host was great. We will definitely stay here again.

Charming house in quiet neighborhood

The Menlo Park house was just a short distance from Whitman Campus and downtown, along with several nearby parks. We were able to walk just about everywhere. The house has a private fenced in backyard, great for throwing a ball for our dog. Charming house that is well taken care of.

Mini family reunion

My husband and I met up with our daughter and the two adult grandchildren for 4 nights at this wonderful home. We did not want for anything. The neighborhood is extremely walk friendly. Got to use the pickleball courts directly behind the house in the park. So much fun. Really enjoyed the spa every night.

Lovely stay in Walla Walla

We stayed here the weekend our daughter graduated from Whitman College. It was in a perfect location for all the activities. Perfectly clean, lovely yard, comfortable beds, what more could we ask for! Owner/manager was extremely helpful and charming. We would definitely recommend this home!

Beautiful Property

Very nice property for our recent visit to wine country. Easy walk to downtown through the beautiful Whitman campus. The home was PERFECT for two families with dogs; the fenced backyard and the park next door were ideal for the dogs to romp in. Beautiful, quiet bedrooms with a well stocked kitchen added to a very enjoyable stay. We would stay here again with out question.

I love this house! Every...

I love this house! Everything was warm, inviting and beautifully decorated. This is definitely the perfect place to stay when visiting Whitman or enjoying wine tasting. I loved sitting in the backyard, sipping wine and counting the stars. The beds are amazingly comfortable and hands down better than any area hotel. My family and I look forward to staying here again and again.

The house is old but really well cared for. Beds were comfortable and overall house layout worked for us. Weather was really cold so didn't take advantage of backyard and hot tub, but would certainly do so in the future.

Nice , very clean friendly place. Great back yard with patio and table for meals Al fresco. Lovely clean hot hot tub. The inside of the home is not vastly spacious— it’s a tidy floor plan but it worked great for our group of friends! Host was super responsive and helpful. Nice street/ neighborhood and park. Loved it!

Super cute and clean

Cute, older home, in a nice neighborhood. Very well cared for and super clean. The only downside was the skylight in the master as it made for an early morning and the hot tub temp was 109 when we got here. Otherwise, a really great place!

Great stay

This house is cute and located in a great place in Walla Walla. Clean and nicely decorated. Beds very comfortable, bathrooms clean. In the kitchen you need to check out all the cupboards as the plates are in a bottom cupboard. We wish we could have found some plastic wrap and sandwhich bags. The steps going downstairs are steep and have a low ceiling which heads got knocked for people taller than 5'6". The little kitchen downstairs is cute. The back yard is inviting with a wonderful deck with tables and chairs. The hot tub was clean and hot. Yard was well manicured and fenced in. We had a great a stay!

Great Location

Had a fabulous time with 7 friends, lots of laughs, wine and plenty of games. Easy walk to downtown, we had a wine bus on Wednesday so we could all enjoy the wineries. We brought home pasta dishes right down from Browns, it was excellent!! House was clean, nice neighborhood there were notes about not being loud as police could show up. We were in the house usually by 10 or 10:30 so didn't bother us. Would stay again at this property.

Cute and cozy

Very clean and neat. The kitchen was well supplied with cooking items. Cozy to sit and visit and kitchen is big enough for several of us to cook at the same time. We enjoyed the jacuzzi. Overall we enjoyed our time in Walla Walla and staying at your home. Thank you. Just a few comments. The home could use new beds in a couple rooms and water filter changed in the refrigerator. Guests should be aware that because it is an older home that anyone using cold water can affect a change in the water temperature for anyone in the shower.

Walla Walla Stay

The house near Whitman College was lovely. Charming, quiet neighborhood with shady streets. The large, landscaped backyard had a deck with large barrel pots of petunias and two tables with chairs. The hot tub was fun to have as well. Three bedrooms were on the main floor with the fourth in the basement. All had comfortable beds with nice linens. The kitchen was well equipped. Drip coffee maker. The restaurants we visited downtown (Saffron, Hattaways, and Passatempo were about 1.4 miles from the house. Cutting through campus was the nicest way to get to them. We didn't bring a pet but the large yard would have been great if we had. They have a nice selection of books and games. Good value!

The house was very clean and very quiet.

There was 3 couples that stayed and it was plenty of room. The weather was wonderful so we spent a lot of time on the back deck. Beware to anyone staying in the master king bedroom that there is a sky light right above the bed so early morning light is very awakening. We are farmers used to getting up early but we wished we had eye masks because we had the opportunity to sleep in. Otherwise beds were very comfortable, kitchen was well stocked, towels were nice and thick. Neighborhood was very quiet. Enjoyed spending time in walla walla.

They make it feel like Home - Put the key in the front door - Relax and Enjoy!

The Cottage has a great location, quiet neighborhood, steps to Whitman, and a stroll to downtown. The public areas are great if your group fills the house, our family size is 4 - so our college kids didn't share a room. Great layout, great back yard for BBQ. While you could easily enjoy the kitchen, the owner's recommendation for coffee/pastry and local restaurants was spot on. Ok, Colville Street Patisserie, the IceBerg for the best local hamburger and shakes, and the Green Spoon for a great range for everyone. We just kept enjoying Walla Walla. Sunday/Monday lots of places are closed, so we missed the Sweet Onion Sausage on Main. The hospitality from the owner made us feel welcome and we appreciated those efforts. Great beds! I love the dining room chandelier too. Thank you -

Great Location; Nice Home; Helpful Owner

We spent a long weekend at "The House of Light" for Whitman graduation, with extended family. The location of this home is outstanding, close to downtown and campus. The neighborhood is very quiet, with a beautiful park and schoolyard just adjacent. The neighbors were very nice, and although we hosted a large yet well-mannered graduation party in the very generous-sized backyard, the neighbors were totally cool with us. The owner, Bre, was very helpful, and even allowed us access into the home several weeks prior to our stay in order to scope-out the amenities in order to help us plan. The home is very clean, tastefully and cheerfully decorated and the beds are very comfortable. Our only issue, which is really no fault of the owner, is that the single main-floor bathroom is very, very small. For elderly or less-mobile folks, the bath and shower could pose some difficulties. Other than that, very, very nice. Thank you!

Could have been worse...

The house was well furnished and appointed. My issues are as follows: 1. Good luck finding the key box. 2. When I entered the house at 7:30 pm, it was a balmy 78 degrees indoors. 3. Ordered Chinese with the plans to enjoy it on the porch while my dogs and I cooled off--sprinklers started going off at 9 pm. Wet dogs and wet human. 4. Tried to take a quick snooze on the couch the next morning before I hit the road, an alarm in the nearest bedroom started BLARING! I don't think this was the first time a paying guest stayed in the house, but it sure felt like it. On the plus side, the master bed was very comfortable.
