Welcome to Destiny by the Sea, a beautiful, private gated community located in Destin, FL! Here, you’ll find the perfect retreat with generous porches, an inviting floor plan, and a community pool, perfect for cooling off on those warm, sunny days so prevalent along the Emerald Coast. Just steps from the beach and near dining, shopping, and attractions, you’ll find plenty to do and all day to do it!

Destiny by the Sea is a gorgeous Spanish villa-style home with five bedrooms and five baths accommodating up to twelve. Designed with impeccable taste and luxurious materials, beautiful furnishings invite you in to experience the ultimate in luxury living.

You’ll find three bedrooms and a lovely morning kitchen on the first floor. Two bedrooms feature queen-sized beds, while a third houses two twin bunks, a great spot the kids will love. The sweeping wrought iron staircase, an architectural delight, connects all three floors, the second floor featuring spacious and bright rooms that seamlessly connect indoor and outdoor spaces. Catch gorgeous sunsets with family and friends on the massive private balcony with plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Prepare delightful meals or snacks for the pool in the fully appointed gourmet kitchen filled with upgraded appliances and a breakfast bar with seating for four. Two king-size master suites with king-sized beds and a private balcony await on the third floor guaranteeing everyone a good night’s sleep. You’ll also find a washer and dryer for added convenience.

Hang out at the community pool or venture to the sugar-white shores for a stroll along the Gulf of Mexico. Spend the day shopping at The Silver Sands Outlet Stores, just ten minutes away. With over 100 shops and an array of restaurants to choose from, you’ll find something for everyone!

Parties, events, bachelor and bachelorette parties are strictly prohibited, and an adult chaperone must accompany guests under 25 throughout their stay. Smoking is strictly forbidden, and pets are unfortunately not welcome and subject to immediate departure if found to be inhabiting a property. Guests found in violation are subject to eviction with no refund. Parking is available for 2 vehicles in the driveway, the garage is off limits to guests.

Great stay

Property was great and immaculate, however, could improve on kitchen supplies like coffee, sugar and cream, and salt and pepper. Also, no beach towel provided for a beach property. A few board games for entertainment would be nice too.

Beautiful beach house

We really enjoyed our stay at Destiny By the Sea. There was plenty of space for all of us and it was a short 5 minute walk to the private beach. There were a couple of problems, however. The key to the front door couldn't be removed after locking the door, (it would get stuck) so we ended up leaving the door unlocked for the first few days of our stay. Also, the bed frame of one of the king sized beds in the smaller master bedroom was broken, making the bed sink in the middle. Maintenance was called for the front door and bed and quickly resolved the problem. This house is lovely but not for guests with bad knees. The kitchen and living room are on the 2nd floor and master bedrooms on the 3rd. If you're young and in good physical shape, it's a great place for a large group to stay.

Amazing stay

We traveled to Destin to celebrate our Mom’s birthday. There was more than enough room for four adults and four kids. We enjoyed walking to the beach everyday and the kids loved being a few feet away from the pool. Any issues we had were resolved quickly. Plenty of beach equipment so don’t worry about packing floats, chairs, or buckets and shovels. Would love to stay again

AMAZING!!!

Everything about this place was PERFECT!!! Hands down the best vacation we ever had
.this house was absolutely amazing in every way!! Lots of room for our whole family of 12 to spread out. Our house was immaculate, beds were comfortable, bathrooms for every bedroom, kitchen was well stocked, I could go on & on & on!! PLUS The pool was right across the street & the ocean was only a short walk away. WE LOVED EVERY SECOND
I literally had tears in my eyes as we backed out of the driveway for the last time. It was a vacation of a lifetime

 We had a little trouble getting our wristbands but management was wonderful to work with & took care of it right away.

Great home-only 1 minor issue

The home was amazing and very clean. The only issue was there were many broken door locks. The main front door did not lock, therefore we had to sleep in the home without it being locked and leave it unlocked as we were gone. Luckily it's in an gated community and security checking every so often. Some of the bathroom locks were broken too, so some bathroom doors couldn't be locked while a person is in there. Other than that, I wish the drive way was bigger to fit a 5 bedroom house (which barely fitted 3 vehicles).

Positive praise: Location is the biggest plus for this home Private clean beach and pool area Prompt attention to a leaking kitchen faucet and it was replaced immediately Home decor and furniture suitable for number of guest Needs attention: Home cleaners did not do their job (dirty floors, dishes, garage full of sand, toilets unclean, trash on floor, counter Home needs some major repairs especially cracked and chipped and even holes in all stone floors More partying behavior, less family orientation this year. Intoxicated persons driving down main road on a loud speaker yelling at people in the middle of night, police were very slow to respond to the incident.

We had high hopes for this stay given the price and location, but unfortunately, it didn’t meet expectations—and some things felt downright misleading. The biggest issue was the refrigerator. For a house that sleeps 12, a dorm-size fridge is completely inadequate. After reading other reviews, it’s clear this has been a long-standing issue the owner has chosen not to fix or disclose. The king bed in one of the main bedrooms is broken and sinks badly in the middle, my husband had to sleep in a chair all week to avoid back pain. There was sand in one of the queen size beds that was not from us! Both Keurig machines were broken, and while the listing told us to bring beach gear, it failed to mention no personal beach equipment is allowed on the private beach. We were forced to rent through a vendor just to provide shade for our one-year-old, costing $200 per couple. Also, golf carts are not allowed, despite us planning to use one. Overall, for the high price, we expected a much better experience. The property has potential, but these issues need to be addressed—and more importantly, disclosed honestly. Would not stay again unless significant changes are made.

Great Stay in Destin

Our group of 9 really enjoyed our stay. There are many positives to the home. The location - proximity to beach and pool was amazing. We enjoyed going between both with ease. The garage has lots of pool toys and floats. Bikes would be the only thing to add that we’ve had at other rentals over the years. Home was clean and comfortable. Beautiful main floor with so much space between the kitchen, dining, and living. The downside was the bathroom configuration was not made clear in the listing. I thought all bedrooms have a bathroom, however two bedrooms share a jack and Jill and the other bathroom is on the main floor where no bedrooms are located. Our group was all adults so this was not ideal, and in the future I’ll be more careful to inquire and not assume based off photos alone. The other downside was the front door and single key to the home was very hard to use. The door would not lock easily, and to not have additional keys for others in our group made things difficult. Once we even forgot to take the key, drove to the house forgetting that another group member had the key
 The guards also gave us a hard time about having expired wrist bands. We explained several times we were only provided what the rental had which was a mix of orange and blue bands, but apparently the blue bands were expired from last year.

Luxurious Getaway

I recently stayed at this beach house for vacation and I could not have asked for a better experience. The home was absolutely beautiful. - from the elegant decor to the high end finishes, every detail felt thoughtfully designed for comfort and style. It was immaculately clean, which made it easy to relax and feel right at home from the moment we walked in. You could tell the owners take great pride in maintaining the property.

Great House! Great Management Company!

We LOVED this house! It was clean. The main room was open and had lots of space to gather! The management team let us check in early and texted us throughout the stay to make sure all was going well. When we had questions, they were super responsive! We would stay in this house again!

Love the neighborhood, home needs attention

We have stayed at numerous homes in the neighborhood, which we love. This home needs some maintenance done. Hardly any of the slider doors have working locks. Two showers leak when you use which causes a mess with towels and cleaning up the floor. Upstairs street bedroom needs the toilet secured to the floor. The same bedroom has inoperable patio door. Kind of tacky with signs and papers on the door “do not use” . There are scrapes on doors and walls where it needs painted. Broken tile in downstairs bedroom. The kitchen is not well stocked. The ice maker didn’t work, the middle burner on the cooktop kept clicking so we didn’t use. The paper towel holder needs to be replaced. The home should have garage access, it’s way more helpful with beach toys, bikes and storage. Again, we love this neighborhood but this home has deferred maintenance that needs to be addressed when paying this price point.

We had a good stay at this property. The property is located in a very exclusive area, with direct access to a private beach. The house is out 4/5 minutes walk from the beach. We had several age groups in our party, including our parents. The bedrooms downstairs were good for them, however, they had to climb a flight of stairs to get to the second floor kitchen/dining. We had a plumbing issue which was resolved promptly. The customer service/support was prompt. Overall, I would recommend this property for stay especially when you have more than 10 people in the group.

We had an amazing stay! The property was beautiful and very accommodating for our group. The proximity to the pool and beach was perfect. The only maintenance issue we had was that the locks did not work on the jack and jill bathroom doors. Overall, would highly recommend this stay and will likely stay again in the future. Customer service and the property manager was also amazing.

Wonderful

Only complaint was having to call customer service for the lock box code to get into the house. But they got us straightened out! Very apologetic and helpful customer service representative. Great location. Beautiful house. Quiet neighborhood. Two minutes from private beach access. Will stay again.

We all enjoyed our stay! It was relaxing and re-energizing! The layout of the house was perfect and accommodated three families! Beach was just a block away and we could easily walk to restaurants! Our house in Destiny by the Sea was great!
